I've been in graphic design school for 3 years now and I swear you've singlehandedly taught me more than any of my teachers ever have. Thank you for sharing your knowledge. I appreciate it a ton!
I love how you show little mistakes and things that don’t quite work out. As a perfectionist afraid to do anything, this encourages me to just try shit. Good reminder that we just have to learn from experimenting and our mistakes!
dude i work in the design industry, and am probably 10 years older than you, but i just wanted to say that your videos are so FUCKING COOL. They inspire me. i fucking love that you just let your imagination roam.
@@TheUnholyPosole Ok, but hear me out. Think about hair... growing out of bone. I don't know about you but thinking about it makes my skin crawl. (Though I wasn't really being serious in the first place. Just being a little bit silly in the comments is all.)
I love the look man, you have a very diy atmosphere around you, I'm deffinetely expecting you to start up something big in the fashion and streetwear community
The shirts were Soldout soooo quick :( so I woke up, saw the notification but and instantly watched the Video, but badly all T's are gone :/ Grettings from Germany
This came at a PERFECT time, it’s my friends birthday and I’ve been wanting to print a certain small pattern all over a denim jacket and haven’t found an affordable way to do it well until now so THANK YOU
Haven't done diy stamping since I was in high school. We called it lino printing back them because we made them from scraps of lino from our teachers kitchen renovation haha. May just have to go out and purchase some tools and lino now.
Love this dude's creative aesthetic, it really shows he's passionate about what he puts out there, it really gets me in the mood to create something of my own
Dude I love you man your videos are helping me start up my clothing line that I've been wanting to start for a long time my wife recently left me for another man and I was crushed felt like I had no self worth blah blah blah cry cry cry but then I came upon one of your vids and ever sense then you have brought back that spark in me that has longed to create for a long time so yeah I cant thank you enough man keep up the great work!
Printmaking is so fun. My art teacher in HS had us do a printmaking project with the lino and cutting out the print was actually the most satisfying thing I had ever done. But now I'm gonna take a printmaking class in college because why not have some fun?
You inspire me to not limit yourself with your creativity. Now I crochet plastic bags and melt them down into jewelry too! Lol thanks for being great mannnn
Hey have done a lot of production screen printing, printing wet on wet doesn't work well on anything but a bright white background (bc wet on wet usually reduces opacity of the colors printed). You would need to print/flash/print at least twice with the opacity you were getting with that stamp. Hope that helps!
Shmoxd's videos always end up blowing me away 😂 Ive tried lino prints a while ago (failed horribly) but I just cant get my templates as detailed as yours! It also looks so easy since you have so much patience. I'd love to win your shirt since you're a big inspiration and *tO be honest, lemme show off how talented you are to my friends* 😂 Don't give up on youtube, you're growing so much! ❤
I mean, the only way to test if a shirt is truly good is to throw yourself all over the place skating, that's how I'd do it too. What other way is there?! 🛹🛹🛹👕👕👕
pero este man explica todo tan bien y la manera en la que termina los trabajos es super me hace sentir que yo tambien puedo espero llegar a terminar algo de estos videos con la calidad y el detalle que se ve en lo que el hace
Man, I thought I successfully squashed the desire to create prints using a more hands on process, then RUclips just had to keep recommending your printing videos and now, first moment I get some unspoken for money, I’m gonna get some Lino blocks. It looked good, especially the subtle blending that the second ink gave it.
Like the vibe you have is chill and all, but it just makes me want to be aggressive creative. I love watching you whenever I'm stuck on a project. You kick my creative block in the face.
I have always loved how creative and different your diys are, they seem so doable and inspire me to do more. I’ve always loved screen printing and have wanted to make my own shirt design, this may be just the tutorial that helps me do it!
Absolutely love your style, been subscribed for over a year now. I've always wanted to lino print on a shirt and seeing your awesome vids and levels of creativity is sweet!
omg yass! just what I request so gonna try to do this . loved how it turned down . low key want it. and u should try making a tapestry of ur own artsy design /dyed. or maybe give it like a crochet one that we can follow if u do crochet or a woven Macrame hanger. with ur original touch something that is easy but cool for a nice decoration touch.
I love how all your videos arent about how "Hello i am internet expert of thing, let me teach u how to do thing correct!!" Instead theyre about, this is a thing that interests me, so i tried it out a bunch of different ways and some of them didnt work out, but here are the things that DID work, and this is what I learned from when they DIDNT. The thing about falling off your skateboard was very aligned with the message too haha. I know it's unintentional. But it's great. Youre cool but not pretentious, creative but not restrictive. It's what I like most about your channel.
Ahhhh I feel very like ah. It looks incredible all your art makes me so inspired to go out and do my own stuff. I always end up giving up on my art but I really can like push through and get I down after watching your videos.
This dude's aesthetic is the aesthetic I strive to have. Like everything about it is amazing I love it so much!!!
☺️☺️🙏🏻
This guy puts in an incredible amount of work into his video and is really modest about it
Artistry at its finest

I love how you still show when you fail and what doesn’t end up working and just roll with it
this man is just flexing in everyone by doing impossible diys
Really I think it is just ew

I literally just now noticed the skull on the Shmoxd logo has a mustache and I don't know how I feel about that.
hahah.. I used to always have a thin lil mustache.. but also its time for some rebranding...
...you don't know how you feel about a illustration of a moustache on a skull? You're ridiculous.

i love how you show your mistakes in each video like it helps people that want to try this to know what does and doesn't work
Your designs look so cool! I love making stamps, up until you almost cut off your finger...
owww... but who needs fingers... right?
@@Shmoxd exactly

idk how someone can make making stamps videos THREE TIMES IN A ROW and have all three be more enjoyable and relaxing as the last.
I always like watching ur videos they make me wanna make clothes
Came here for the block printing tips, but was delighted that you may have also answered my graphic design/GIS issues too. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
This one turned out amazing. Probably my favorite print by you!

Ahhh man:\ sorry about that. I’ll have to start doing international pre releases or something
I aspire to have the level of calm and determination as you mate honest. You out here living your best life and teaching us too
the time lapses of you carving the stamps into the lino blocks are the most SATISFYING thing..
p.s. the new hair is a look 👀
haha thanks and thanks! my hair is dead.. I'm probably going to shave it..🤫
Shmoxd haha i like this trend of new hair in every video
I think you're my favourite DIY youtuber, because of your editing style, voice overs and that you make a lot of DIYs that I hadn't seen before

same but it seems soo expensive....any way to do this on a budget?
Hannah R go to a hardware store and you can get everything you need for like €20 or $20
You could also try using wood instead of Lino blocks
@@Shmoxd good idea, thanks!
I’ve used Lino blocks to print on shirts, it’s really fun. But I like that you did 4 color separation, came out beautifully!
this is actually so fucking amazing you genuinely inspire me to stay creative even when school work takes over
:):) school work shmoool work.
I love how you just don't give up. It doesn't end well the first time? Okay, let's give it another shot!

Looking forward to seeing what you do with that thrifted framed photograph!
My local Hobby Lobby just put a ton of lino stuff on clearance. I bought it all.
You live near me? my local Hobby lobby didn't have any left...
I'm in Wyoming. For us Rocky Mountain folks, yes I live near you. But in a practical sense, no.

These prints came out AMAZING. And even though it looks like it took a lot of trial and error that voiceover felt effortless. Nice job!
