*Shit how fast time flies, but that song made me feel 36 years younger again today. In 1986, we went crazy on the dance floors of the discos to this song.*
Nostalgia seems to make even stuff you didn't really get into better. When I was a kid, I wasn't even into rock, but I heard it and was thoroughly just tolerating it, but all these years later I get chills listening to it. I remember listening to it on a huge 10 D-cell boom box in the back bed of my mom's piece of crap tiny Toyota pickup flying down the interstate, completely unsafe as F, but nobody gave a rats ass. It seems like the best time of my life in the rose-colored lense of nostalgia, even though times were tough and we were poor. Amazing.
These were the last concerts held at the old Wembley stadium before they knocked it down and rebuilt it. Jon even has some of the seats from the stadium at his home
Seen Bon Jovi almost 60 times live and we even got on stage with them at Hyde Park in 2003, what an experience that was in front of 93000 people. Didnt go to this show, which was the 3rd of 3 nights at Wembley. Was there for the 1st night though.
I'm envious, been to many of their concerts but they were always indoor venues with 15-20k people. I always wanted to experience one of those big outdoor shows but it just never worked out.
Thx 4 sharing this video!!👏🏻❤️🙏🏼🌹🇺🇸LoVe BON JOVI forever + JON is My HeRo, he saved my life!!!!!!! Always loved this song…. Memories of 80’s & tons of Fun too!!!❤️🙏🏼
Watching this ! EVERY time, I get so sad & nostalgic for all the great concerts I've been to in my life ! Unforgettable times , every one. --------------------MJL, 75 y/o
35 years! 🎂 This is part 1. Part 2 is the song It's My Life. Based on a true story. Tommy = Desmond Child. Written by him, Jon Bon Jovi + Richie Sambora. Recorded in Little Mountain Sound, Vancouver, Canada. 🇨🇦 1986. Produced by the late Bruce Fairbairn 🇨🇦. Engineered by Bob Rock 🇨🇦. I was in Vancouver but in a different part! 😖 This song popularized the studio, the producer, the engineer + the City of Vancouver. AC/DC, Aerosmith, The Cult, Glass Tiger, Whitesnake + Yes came to this recording studio to work on their albums. Metallica hired Bob Rock. Suggested next Bon Jovi video: It's My Life. RIP Bruce Fairbairn 🇨🇦
Just imagine young ladies : 80,000+ people, NO cell phones---------no social media--------no computers -----------just music, grat times, pretty girls, handsome guys, & THAT'S what concerts were all about ! I know, I lived for them. ---------------------MJL< 75 y/o
Living on a Prayer Is a very good song, You should do a Reaction to Journey with lead singer Steve Perry Live in Houston 1981 they sound better live, Stone in love, Who's Crying Now, Don't Stop Believin, Also Faithfully, Open Arms, Wheel in the Sky, I'll be all right without you, John Bon Jovi gave Steve Perry the name the Voice, calling him one of the best Rock Singers ever.

If you want to see the ultimate in humongous, frenzied crowds going berserk at a rock concert, you can't beat Metallica performing "Enter Sandman" at a venue outside of Moscow, back in '91. (Disregard if you've already seen/ heard it.)
Please do a First time reaction to Peter Frampton "Do you feel like we do" Midnight Special 1975 because that TALK BOX thing is older than you are ladies.
Why compare... I saw both queen (1982) and Bon Jovi in Argentina (1993 qnd 95).... and believe me, the crowds where more than similar! They're both amazing bands LIVE
@@nathankrush3289 Thats your opinion! Impossible to compare as they are completely different types of front men. Besides the point is that it's pointless to compare as they're all legends. I'm 66 and still get chills and strong emotions... this was some of the best times of my life...

As always, the studio version sounds better.

Aren't you a rock & roll fan or a metal fan?

React to avenged sevenfold please
This doesn't compare to Pink Floyd live, or Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, and many others
One of the best rock songs doesn't compare. Yeah. Sure
