Man this album "Slippery When Wet" was so huge when it came out. I was a junior in high school, and it just blew up on Mtv and the radio.
I was in 3rd grade back then :D
Good ol' times...
Something about the mid to late 80s music will never be replicated with its energy and fun. Its epic, I'm so grateful I grew up with it. Soooooo grateful
True man was born in 98 from South Asia and this is what we use to listen in our teenage those mtv songs bonjovi was our fav
I agree!
Everything is Grey nowadays...
@@brunomercado3210 so much trash now the days
These are idiots
Dude with hat makes me so sad for him
*Talk Box effect: Guitarist [here: SAMBORA] "manipulates" the sound of his instrument with his voice via a tube that's fixed beside his microphone.*
Another great hair band from 80'. What epic era for Good music. Stay safe and rock ON guys 🤘🏻🖤
Love your reactions to Bon Jovi, loved them for 35 years was lucky enough to see them live many times in the 90’s and noughties, if you want to see the best live performances check out live at Wembley- Living on a prayer and Always, incredible. You guys are SO Sweet! Love your gorgeous happy faces ❤
Richie Sambora never gets praises for his master guitar skills and amazing vocals. We would not get the amazing harmonies with Richie!
Are you kidding me? Every single reaction there’s the same damn comment. 😂😂😂
*RICHIE SAMBORA GUITAR LEGEND.* 🎵🎸💿🎆🔥🤘😎👍
Thanks for posting..very rare to see Richie get his props!
@@TexasMagnolia *His solo-albums stand right next to my ZZ Top collection. Men wearing hats while playing guitars. Sounds familiar.*
🖖😁🎵💿🎸🥁🎵🔥🤘😎👍
@@NicholasCorvin Absolutely
This dude was the Vynil Record my sister ever had. We played that so many times and wore it out. There is no more worry about playing an 8 track, cassette tape, or Record too much to wear them out. Great reactions.
*Their biggest hit is yet to come...."It's My Life" from their 2000 comeback-album "CRUSH"........Hello again, Talk-box.....* 🎸🎵🔥✨🎆🎸
He was pointing at richie, before the Guitar solo.
Check out always live from london (wembley, 1995)
Or anything from that live from london show.
Lay your hands on me will blow your mind.
Great vid!
Greatest concert ever!!!!! The 26th anniversary was a couple days ago as of this comment!!
Bro my parents loved this tour. They visited Zurich from the US to be at this concert!
Yes its called a talk box, you should check out peter frampton do you feel like we do live......best talk box ever!
I hear a story that Frampton stole the idea from Jeff Beck
@@MrCold012 he got it from a steel guitar player named Peter drake....look up "how peter frampton got his talkbox" on RUclips
Came back to watch this one again... The crowd reaction is just unbelievable.
BON JOVI YES SIR
OMG how I truly miss Jon and Richie together they make Bon Jovi. I could watch all of the concerts back to back. The energy was insane and Jon's voice was incredible.❤❤❤❤❤
I saw bon jovi 4 times when they came to argentina, man... There's nothing like them, the sound, the energy... it was pure magic
I wish I had a chance to go to their show when I was young. Remember hearing in the 80’s they had one of the best shows during that time.
yeah the TalkBox pedal reroutes the amp/guitar sound through a mini speaker that has the sound blocked off by a long vinyl hose that you put in our mouth the microphone picks that up so when you talk or move your jaw while playing it changes how the guitar sounds
You can’t hear Jon singing with how loud the audience is singing these bangers! Got my tickets for 2022! Haven’t missed a tour except for the postponement of this 2020 album tour.
This is usually their encore so he’s already been singing for well over 2 hrs.
Love it love it I have that album it came out in 1986 I was 16 years old Awesome job Suzi, Travis and John
It's My Life is kinda a sequel from Livin' On A Prayer, with another mention of Tommy and Gina.
Please do check out the performances of Just Older, Two Story Town, It's My Life and maybe Born To Be My Baby in this same Crush tour.
And the Wembley 1995 is a must-react, especially Always.
That's another thing that I love about this band they never use stuff to change their voice like autotunes or any other things it's natural all the time. Jon always say to stay true to who you are and that's who they are ! Working hard and natural always give the best to the audience. They truly are the best band ever 😍🤘
Ritchie Sambora is the Real Bon Jovi
THANK YOU
Preach!
It is a talkbox that is connected to Samboro’s guitar. The sound from the guitar is fed through the plastic tube into his mouth. Way cool. I had a friend who loved using one of them.
Dig those double headers! Keep you high on music 🎶 ❤ . He has a an amazing voice it's better than the studio album. They feed and engage with the audience the way it should be! 🎸😀❤.
I remember on Helsinki, Finland concert when he was singing Airplane, jumping around and suddenly made a small "ahh"-sound when he hurt his knee. Rest of The concert he was limping, not jumping. Later turned out he hurt it real bad. I appreciate he saw the concert to the end, even though he was asked if he can make it through. 👏 He is a preformer who loves his fans and wants to give them the experience.
I had the chance to assist to this concert, I was within the 10 first ranks at this time and saw myself ;-) back at this time you had too choose if you were more heavy metal or (hard FM rock) it was hard to be on both sides. Bon Jovi has always been a great band, personaly my favorite will stll be the original soundtrack of the cowboy movie "wanted dead or alive one or two
I believe that Bon Jovi is the band that metal heads, Punks, Rockers, hip hop heads, love song lovers, boy bands lovers, R & B lovers and many genre loving fans or it doesn't who they are listens to.
I was there 😎 note that these the opning songs!
After all these years shouldn't they at least be 3/4 of the way there 😁
Good one!🙃
Are we there yet???
The device is a voice box or talk box. It runs your mouth movements through your amp.
my favorite concert of all time!!!!
It's a talkbox, most likely Banshee by Rocktron , that's what Richie Sambora has been using all along ......
Yes it’s a talk box that was used on Tupac’s California Love too and a version of it can be seen being used in the 2nd version of the California Love music video
"Livin' On A Prayer" is one of those songs where the singer over-extended themselves vocally, which is why Bon Jovi doesn't sing the "woah-oh!" part himself when playing live. Especially toward the end when the key changes. He always just let's the crowd / band sing that part, which is unfortunate because that's the best part of the song. Still a great performance generally though.
Peter Frampton also used the talk box...
Bon Jovi is AWESOME!!!!
From this same concert you should react to "One Wild Night". Great song live.. Great reaction!
You need to check Livin on a prayer live at hyde Park, that was more amazing than this version, you're gonna feel chills!
Anyway, great video! 🙋🏻♂️
Musicians that don't know about the Talk Box. The Talk Box has been used since the 1970's, thanks to Peter Frampton. And Funk bands, through the 1970/80's
Wanted Dead or Alive is a must listen!
Always live at wembley 1995 next
To think this was more than 20 years ago, and they were at the top of their game 5 years before this, it just blows my mind!
Proud Bon Jovi fan since 1986. (I was 7)
Wanted dead or alive live from wembley 1995 is a must see! Love your videos❤
You give love a bad name was a rewritten song called If you were a woman and I was a man by Bonnie Tyler
I never knew he made that sound at the beginning of Livin on A Prayer. I always assumed it was some crazy guitar distortion
So travis and suzy are married awesome
Yes it's a TalkBox.
Bon Jovi is awesome in concert!!!!!! I've seen them 5 times in concert and they were amazing every time!!!! Y'all should watch some Def Leppard
See people of all ages in the audience is so cool! 😆😆😆
Bon Jovi ranks in my top 5 of live performances
Please do “Something To Believe In” by Bon Jovi from Yokohama 1996. Absolutely amazing.
Such an amazing group of legends, for you give love a bad name I actually dated someone that was so stuck on themselves that she gave the song to them as for me, I'm a vengeful individual so when I got tired of her lies and faking I smacked her with it, ever since she's been trying to call for me back for forgiveness and I never forgive my enemies it's how awful of a person she is, in fact in hindsight probably the female version what my p.o.s old man is like so I take great joy in watching them suffer having to live through life's circumstances. Anyways I never been to a bon Jovi concert and probably will never get to experience it but I've been livin on a prayer for a dear someone I lost in 7th grade and I can say I'm nearly halfway there to the goal I wished to achieve as I expected to have gotten the one key point done by 30 when I was 14 but now that I'm the age I've learned not to expect crap while throwing the trash away from my path while taking life's road of madness never turning left never turning right but busting right down the middle hard as I can through anything in my way. This video was an experience I'm happy to say checked that off my list, so thank you for making a video on it @TheWolfHunterz truly one bonafide bad asses worth following and proud I've come across a couple years ago😎
Lay Your Hands On Me Live From London 95 Best One
And yeah I do. People around me are sick of me telling them how good they were the 20 or so times I’ve seen them.
Bon Jovi fan here of 38 years!! I was 11 years old when I fell in love… literally!! Been to 4 concerts. Exceptional experience!!!
Seen 3 times live and always a blast! So happy to see bon jovi reaction
Awesome awesome. Jon is the proud owner a major pro team of some sort. Love you all you . You brightened my day and night 🌙. Love the ending. Phenominol!
When I discover a new band, I immediately look for live footage. If they can’t cut it live, I don’t give a second listen. Being a child of the 70’s...I’m spoiled on music perfection.
Ciaooo Guys ! Around 4'00" I feel the energy too with you guys . I have interests and occupations and i have talked again In Person with my work's Tutor . I am in period contact with the Director of the Library but in this spaces is always good to write ! Tico Torres drum Groove ! I have read that in the "Early Days" they were havier and than switched to a sort of "romantic metal" Wherever it is they are legend . Good sounds ... and Torres is a metronome . Your hair are even impressier Jon
Hi! Try Santa Fe. It's the best song for me!
Talk Box Masters:
Joe Walsh - Rock Mountain Ways
Peter Frampton - Do you feel like I do
Check out Joe Walsh if you want to see someone that really uses the talk box song Rocky mountain Way
Talk Box is absolutely right! A lost art in music and absolutely love it in this song!! 🤘🏼❤️ Bon Jovi is the best and love y’all’s reaction and takes!! Always put you in a fun good energetic mood!! What it’s all about!
Nice video Guys♥️
When I was like 11/12 years old this was the second album i even bought after Ozzy blizzard of Oz. Me and my lil bro used to air band to this album and ozzy. I remember when the actual videos came out on much music and Dan Gallager playing music on saturday mornings. wow nostalgia lol
I was about 7 when Slippery When Wet came out. It was the first cassette tape that I ever owned 😂. I used to have a crush on Jon of course ❤️
Talk box/music box...the singer has to hit the note EXACTLY the same as he plays it on the guitar or it sounds like crap...he's the master. If I'm not mistaken Peter Frampton was the first to use it.
I saw an interview with John saying he had to get cortisone injections for his vocal cords on tour because they’d get so inflamed. His has such energy and stage presence, and then there’s his voice…wow.
Richie Sam Ora is a very underrated guitarist and singer
You guys should do danger danger rock America live at Kawazaki 1990
Joe Walsh used a talk box in his song "Rocky Mountain Way" and Peter Frampton used one in his song "Do you Feel like I do"?
Those tiny track things they're talking about, are talking about Hit Clips? I think they use to give them out at McDonalds or something?
Im calling john Donnie from nkotb lol
Just want to say is not even in the USA and people are in sync. I saw them 12 time on Montréal and I can tell you never gets old
They were so fun to see seen them 5 times and every time was great
Yes, it is a Talkbox. Peter Frampton I believe was the first to make it well known.
Nothing is as it seems. Personally I know them and they don't do well live and "who are you"
Hiya joe walsh does this talkbox on ... rocky mountain way .....
Yes it is a talk box. It has nothing to do with a voice. You play the notes on the axe and control the sound with how you shape your mouth
NOT ONLY IS THAT A TALK BOX BUT CAN BE DANGEROUS TO THE MUSICIANS DEPENDS ON HOW MUCH OVERDRIVE OR DISTORTION CAN BLOW OUT A TOOTH
It’s a talk box. Or mouth harp. Motley Crue uses one to. In kick start my heart
please react avenged sevenfold god hates us live in rock am ring 2011
Check out the song Have a Nice Day.
When music was a music
You guys are great. Loving the new effects.
Come to Argentina and ALL Musicians live that :D
🤘🇧🇷
Looks like Jon is Teaching aerobics while putting on an amazing rock show! hahahaha!! and 1 and 2 and 3 lol
Great job with your reaction to Living On A Pray and You Give Love A Bad Name live from Bon Jovi Amazing video . The Question is were is this video from and what year ?

@@TheWolfHunterZ very cool and thanks for the answer Suzi Q.
It's what? I can make those same noises with my throat. It's easy.
Joe Walsh also use's a talk Box in Rocky Mountain Way
React to Bon Jovi, Hey God performance at MTV '95
Yes its called the.....
Talk-box !
Do you wanna see two more amazing songs featuring the Talk-box....
Peter Frampton..... Do You Feel Like I Do
One of the very best w/ the Talk-box.....
Joe Walsh.... Rocky Mountain Way
Back to Bon Jovi
They had the wrong lead singer.... Richie Sambora has much better vocals !
Check-out their MTV Acoustic performance of.... Wanted Dead Or Alive & see for yourself ! ✌😎
Also Jon is cutting a bunch of the words short during this performance.... age & many ,many years of songs has caught up with him 🎙
I've seen Bon Jovi live... they opened for Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers in the early 90's and got blasted off the stage !
Bon Jovi by themselfs ok/good..... but up against one of the greatest ( Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers)
...it was no contest ! 😎🎸
( R.I.P - Tom ) Thank-you for many decades of greatness ✌😎
It not jovi it Bon Jovi his name is Jon first name last name is Bon Jovi
Being a Jersey guy, for a little over 5 decades, and hangin' in Asbury Park through the mid '70s to early '80s never was a big fan of Bon Jovi. At the time it was Jon Bon Jovi and the Funky Bunch playing at the Fast Lane with his crew who came down from South Amboy. Us locals hung out at the Stone Pony with Bruce and Southside Johnny. Of course we were early twenties and they were just teens. It was during the MTV days that I started to enjoy his music. Oh I have seen of my favorite songs done live, Bohemian Rhapsody, Save Me, Somebody to Love, We Will Rock You, Crazy on You, Barracuda, Stone in Love, Faithfully, In the Dark, The Stroke to name a few.
Y'all ought to try Richie Sambora's solo stuff (post Jovi). Stranger in This Town for example...
Ritchie sambora is the best of the best guitar hero🤟🤟
Did he say teddy ruxpin lol
Im from Malaysia. Yes that talkbox
