They sold 72 000 tickets for this concert in about 6 hours. And that without nobody knowing who was going to perform other than the remaining Queen! You shod really sheck out the hole gig!:)))
not an 80 or 90 song ("Knockin' on Heaven's Door" is a song by American singer-songwriter Bob Dylan, written for the soundtrack of the 1973 film Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid. Released as a single two months after the film's premiere, it became a worldwide hit, reaching the Top 10 in several countries.)
What an awesome concert this was for the great Freddie Mercury, this has got to be the best version of this song i've heard, I remember watching this live in 1992 in the pub having a beer
Rob Zombie once declared John 5 "the best guitarist you'll ever see", so I made a list of great guitarists I've seen, personally. John's good, sure, but next to Angus, Mick Mars, Billy Gibbons and Tony Iommi, it's a tough crowd. (And many others) So in the end, for my money, Slash is the GOAT. 🤘🤘🤘
Best reaction to this one I have seen! I saw them in Munich Germany 1992 and it was just as good. Now I am up to seeing them 16 times. Got Australia in November and in summer 2022 Norway. GG guys!
Guys You MUST REACT TO Guns N' Roses - Sweet Child o' Mine - Live in Tokyo 92 , and also YOU MUST REACT TO Bohemian Rhapsody - Elton John Feat Axl Roses from this This Tribute 👍👍👍
I was there, stage left with about 10 other US Navy members. It was such a hot day and everyone got sunburnt wading through the lines to get in. Wonderful concert. Wonderful day, a cherished shared moment with some wonderful people.
@@robertevans2450 you got to see my favorite band live but not only live but at the peak of their career so I kinda envy you because it looks like i won't be able to attend their concert in my lifetime
@@msdawnga6183 I have seen many of their concerts, and the ones back when they were hungry were the best, the latest ones with the drugged out members, isn't worth the time, let alone the money to see. If you want a good show out of GNR, go see Slash, as he still has his head screwed on straight...just my opinion of course.
I watch this reaction at least once a day. Love the song and your reaction. Tracy and Reberta add a whole new vibe . I saw them do this song live in Chattanooga Tennessee in 1987 and was blown away by it. But with the 2 amazing back up singers this one is absolutely my favorite version
I've seen Guns N' Roses live here in The Netherlands in 2018 (I'm currently 22) I got tickets from my mom for my birthday My 20 year old sister has seen the Gorillaz and Kiss live
I was 16 when this concert happened and they kept replaying it on Much Music in Canada. I actually recorded it to video cassette then hooked up my dual cassette recorder ghetto blaster to the back of the VCR with AV cables and recorded a bunch of the songs to cassette so I could listen on my Sony Walkman.
I wasn't alive at the time but I liked them better with Steven Adler in the band. Its a shame he couldn't get it together at the time, but one of the great drummers in my opinion.
I know you would never react to two different versions of the same song by the same band, but the 1991 Rock in Rio performance of this song will forever be the most exciting live performance I've ever seen. It came when GnR had been out of the public eye for a while, and everyone was waiting and waiting for them to FINALLY make a full follow-up album after Appetite for Destruction. Finally, MTV broadcast a few live performances by GnR from the Rock in Rio festival - even before the Use Your Illusion Albums came out. It was the first time I'd ever seen a live performance by them (I was very young) - and decades later, it still stands as my favorite performance of theirs.
I was at this gig in 1992, paid a almost a weeks wages for a ticket then stood in a queue for 6 hours, amazing everybody Metallica, Def Leppard, G&R, Elton John, David Bowie, George Michael, Roger Daltrey and more all turned out for Freddie Mercury. Just an incredible atmosphere.
Though i have never met the original line up , was fortunate enough to meet Gilby Clarke who had a stint with GNR for sometime and boy what an amazing guy. I just went for his amd his bandmates interview and invited us to some pizza and food and all and not only that himself gave us all mementos and signed stuff and was such a humble guy. His bandmates were Troy Farrell and Ej curse , both members of White Lion.
And paying tribute to the greatest songwriter ever arguably.People please tell me what song that was before they started Knocking. Its so familiar but I can't think of it.Ok it just sounded a little bit like a part of the song The Writ by Black Sabbath, lol,or it just reminded me of the one part.Think I'm going crazy maybe, watching all these reaction videos.
What a great performance eh ! And...apart from the drummer i have seen G & R live here in Florence at Firenze Rocks in 2019 if i am not wrong along with The Cure... In 2018 in fact i've seen Maiden ! Hilarious Jon is back . 0'32" I think you're amazing GuyZ . In primis Sir TraVis . 0'35" 🤷♀️ 👋 Ciao Queen Mrs Suzi . During Firenze Rocks there were backing corists if i am not wrong...and so many crowd . I was paying a lot of attention to Axl Duff Mc K. and Slash who did some amazing amazing solos ! In this case the parentesi reggae tribal percussionist is not remembered and unexpected . So technical !
More Guns N' Roses please, You Should React to Guns N' Roses - Civil War ( Live in Paris 92 ) or Slash guitar solo + the godfather from the same concert 👍🙏
Watch Paradise City from this same concert, brilliant performance.

Totally agree
I remember watching this on mtv live it was great 👍 paradise city from this is one of there best performances of the song

Matt Sorum is a fantastic drummer. So underrated
No band had this power, absolute power. I saw this band at the old Cotton Bowl in Dallas Texas tremendous.
You are right pure fucking power , I was at the same concert in Dallas.

So glad that i grew up in the 80's and 90's and had this music in the best years for a human being. Sorry kids of today..😉
I love 90's hard rock n roll,
Your so lucky

Rip Freddie ❤🤘🏴 was one of the best music gigs of all time
Wembley Arena / London...when good Singers payed tribute to the greatest Singer ever in History!
Didn't know they were paying tribute to Ronnie James Dio
The Extreme medley was incredible
Radio in Australia still plays this quite a lot. And they play the live version because it's really long and the DJ can go out for a smoke.
Going out for a smoke is not very rock n roll. Let the man smoke while doing his thing
Plus the live version is way better than the album one
Paradise city live. Great rock band
Axl gotta an unique voice
GNR concert paris 92 certainly the best moment of humanity
Came out of the Womb listening to these guys. My favorite Rock band. Axl just has a way to make you want to listen to Him. 🤘

That Tokyo gig was awful! They were at their lowest ebb
I love Guns N' Roses
Their cover of "Live and Let Die" is awesome, too.

Matt Sorum is a walking legend. The Cult first and Guns n Roses later...
Paradise City from this same concert next
The best knocking on heaven's door version was the MTV 88 at the Ritz that was smoking.
Bob D. wrote it for Sam Peckinpah's Pat Garrett and Billy the Kid, in which he also had a role.
They released this version as a cd single and the proceeds went to the charity for which this concert was also organised
Song is great but it is awesome to see your faces/reactions!
Good times. Golden years
i saw them at the old Wembley stadium the same tour ,they are awesome live!
I've seen GnR in 1988 in Jersey. They blow Aerosmith and deep purple off the stage. You can't beat them live
BOB DYLAN wrote and sang the song but GUNS AND ROSES PUT THEIR OWN "SPIN" ON IT !! Well done !!! 🤗
