    That stance looks perfect; any lower and it wouldn’t be my cup of tea. At first I honestly didn’t like the wheel choice even though it’s pretty much just one spoke more than my old S-10, but with the stance and color-matching I think the truck looks really nice now. Well done!
    I’m not sure how your truck would look with the M-3 style side mirrors, but maybe toss around that idea. I think a small cowl-induction hood would look killer and I’m ready to see that bed liner lip on the tailgate gone when you eventually get to that. Haha

    • @whiplashtv2022
      @whiplashtv2022  2 года назад +1

      Thanks, I’m in love with the looks too. I envisioned that as I got the truck lower, installed lower profile tires, and did the brakes behind the wheels, that the wheels would look better and better with each thing that I did. I wish that they were 5 spoke, but for some reason it is hard to find 5 spokewheels on a 6 lug pattern unfortunately. I am still looking into tailgate spoiler caps that look good.

      @@whiplashtv2022 I hate to keep bugging you on here man but I do want to run something by you and get your opinion. I'm not doing the drop kit until March it is currently February. As much as I think the stance of your truck is absolutely perfect, there was a time that I considered doing a staggered set up. There is not much information online about this. Most people love their GM's stanced exactly like yours. So do I. But there's not many images of available of the trucks staggered. This is a really stupid question but what are your thoughts cuz I value your opinion, on possibly do a 4in in the front on 20's and 5 in in the back on 22s? I know it's probably not your cup of tea and truth be told if my truck turned out exactly like yours I'd be a happy man. But I am really curious what that setup would look like. I'm also curious what your thoughts are having lowered your truck and have experienced any difficulties along the way. Do you think 5 inches in the rear would accommodate 22s in the rear with a similar Tire in the front on 20's? I'm still on the fence, and I really wish there were more images available online of truck setup the way I'm proposing. So all I have is your expert opinion to rely on. It would not take much convincing for me to go ahead and simply keep the wheel size the same all 4 tires. But I do think I will always wonder what the staggered look might have turned out like LOL. What are your thoughts man? I appreciate it

    • @whiplashtv2022
      @whiplashtv2022  Год назад +1

      @@michaelscottroberts5444 On my 2001 Chevy I will most likely do the 4/6 drop on the 22’s that I have on it which are 22x9/22x11 setup with 265/35/22 up front and 285/30/22 in the rear. It will fit and is going to look great. The offset of the wheels is key to getting the wheels and tires to fit inside the wheel wells without excessive rubbing. A 4/5 would look ok, but I would simply do the 4/6 with the 20/22 staggered setup if you don’t want 22’s all around. I am not a huge fan of different staggered setups that are staggered in overall diameter. I do run staggered setups that have staggered widths and offsets.

      Yes I would, as long as you can get the camber adjusted out of the front driver side. Maybe the 5/7 kit comes with their camber correcting upper control arm. Otherwise, just get a set of camber keys that allow for more camber adjustment and you should be good. Everything else about the kit has been good.

      Not with this size wheel and tire on normal roads. It did really good. You would have to hit a very big bump for it to do something like that. Before I got the front 1” spacer right and it was down 5” in the front, then it would occasionally hit the inside upper fender on normal roads.
