Master Shifu, I have to admit, this video is super useful. I like your approach to this topic; unlike other athletes, it's balanced and makes more sense. You also have some solid 'talking to camera' skills. And indeed, thank you for reassuring us that even 3cm is enough, we truly appreciate you, master.
you ARE the BEST calisthenics channel bro I appreciate your talking head down to earth style video SOOO much. helps you understand and cut thru all the bullshit jargon online, I cannot say how much I love this channel bro. I need programming advice, I'm now approaching end of year 2 of calisthenics, I unlocked muscle up month 5, front lever 5s hold month 11, flpu month 16 (I have 1-2 reps now), and that's it. Zero HSPU or planche progress, I think I'm training wrong, so I took some time to build more muscle - 182cm, 76kg, 16%bf, by doing a weighted cali routine at the moment. How can I keep progressing thru my on year plataue? I feel a bit stuck, I wanna build more muscle but yeah haven't done much of that this year either :/
Thanks for support! You are probably more gifted for pull, but it doesnt mean you can't upgrade your push. I dont know you in person and your specific circumstances so I can't give you accurate advice. I would say however that you need to eat more (mandatory), keep training planche and also include some hypertrophy exercises for front delts and train them pretty hard
@@SasaVenos yeah shoulders are lacking since I only ever did weighted dips & psuedo planche push ups since starting cali, will work on the shoulders ty
Did you start with cali or gym? and do you only do cali rn? last question, would you say your physique is form mostly cali or gym? btw love that you are back!!! 🔥🔥
Sounds good but the actual "root" for planche lets say is not a dip or a pushups but rather a planche lean. However if I was to start cali from 0 I would definitely become strong at basics first
Dont get the question, is it good or bad? I dont think its the best way but it can work, there are many methods but only a few principles. If you respect the principles you can play around with the method.
@ What I ment is - is this method effective in your opinion, because I see alot of programs from people like Haristov that focus mainly on 1 skill (front, planche etc) 3 times a week , a full on training program. So I wonder if it’s a good idea to focus on 1 skill every time.
@@steverevah2513not necessary. You can progress well at multiple skills if you know how to program. Though i gotta say only 1 skill to work on definitely makes the job a lot easier!
@@SasaVenos let's say I did a front lever workout, holds progression and all of that, would training weighted pull ups at the end of the workout be helpful in progressing in the front lever, or is it better to no do them att all in your opinion?
@Shortcast_1depends. I program people's training only when I know their level, their lifestyle and their goals. I cant possibly give you an accurate answer.. too many factors.

Good to see your videos again! There are probably many methods to reach the same goal, some being more effective than the others. :)

Started with Cali, my physique is mostly from cali skills and basics (some ohp, barbell rows, front raises too)
@@SasaVenos good to know! thanks, when you say your physique is mostly from cali, do you mean statics or dynamics? would love to know! ❤
Please make a new planche tutorial
Been waiting for your videos for so long, finally you’re back.🫶🏻

@IICALIS نعم
for me basics as HSPUs are very fun (easy to progress) but skills are diff , i cant even protract well on -10kg straddle PL
Take a step back then. Progress doesnt have to be slower in skills, you just need to find right volume and progression
Dude , I have a question. Following a program that focuses on 1 skill at a time, good .. bad ?
Im not him but if it works, then its for u👍

So guys the important lesson we learnt is, even 3 cm is not small 💪🏻😮💨😂
3cm planche lean is more than enough
so weighted calisthenics aren't as useful in your opinion for skills?
Depends on a lot of things 🙃. If you know how, why and when to program them, they can assist you
