I love it but it would have been helpful to hear what you were saying about the heat gun.

Huh, never heard of torch paste before until now. Sounds like the wood equivalent of heat-set embossing powder. Have to give it a future try! 👍🏻

I was stressing on finding wood pieces for my latest craft passion. (Everything comes tomorrow, so I’m excited, and I’m hopeful I don’t screw it up!😂)
One thing I’ve read, is the types of wood, that works best. Your appears to have worked well, but I’ve read basswood and poplar, are the best. Which is good bc the expensive woods don’t turn out well. (Cherry, walnut, oaks…)
This looks like it was really fun. Ik this video is 2 years old, but I’m wondering if you ended up doing a lot more pieces, or was it a once and done experience?

Curious does it have to be a certain type of wood or any wood will work, and how much cream do you need to put on for it to work well before applying the heat, also where did you get the torch paste ? thanks for sharing

would it be possible to burn it through if i have applied mod podge (which is glue) to the wood? I've painted it with mod podge for a different project and now want to use it for wood burning.
