7:37 - 9:20 When I saw this scene for the first time I was so unprepared for what was gonna happen. Grandpa’s outfit, the cannon, the muffin in Herman’s mouth, Herman’s voice, AND Herman’s meltdown had me laughing SO HARD I had to pause and rewind just so I could tell what was happening. This show still holds up for a modern day college student just as much as it did for me a decade ago.
Herman Munster's helium voice part was really well done.
That was truly a funny scene. In fact, it was my favorite part of the episode.

So entertaining. This episode rocks! It felt so good to laugh, thanks to the talents of Fred Gwynne, Yvonne DeCarlo, Al Lewis, Pat Priest, and Butch Patrick. What amazing chemistry this talented cast had. This is definitely one of the best episodes of the series. The Munsters is such a classic show. I'm a big fan!

I would think Lily would know the voice of her own husband. I watched this new, and loved the show. I always wondered how Marilyn's parents died, and how Marilyn looked so pretty. I think Marilyn's mom was a sister to Lily...seems like Lily had stated that. Marilyn was nice, and truly respected and loved the Munster family. This episode is hilarious. I recall one episode when their relatives, the creature from the black lagoon and a wolfman, visited.

This show was far better than Addams Family. I watched both when new, at age 6. Herman and grandpa were hilarious. I always wondered why Marilyn was normal, her mom (or dad) was sib to Lily.
Ehhh, I'd say the Addams were more consistently funny, but when The Munsters had a joke that hit, it hits out of the park and into the next zip code.

This is really hilarious, more so when grandpa shoots that muffin into Herman's mouth like a missle. Herman's voice (after the muffin eating) sounded like Sgt. Carter's voice when Gomer Pyle's psychic grandma made a potion for Carter to drink, after he lost his voice from having yelled too much at Gomer. Gomer put the potion in Carter's tea. Hilarious.
This is also one of my favorites. Who else can make the song Them bones rock.
As pointed out, Fred Gwynne himself had an absolutely buttery smooth singing voice.
