I was watching your video and seen ur having trouble with ur kick skin and the sound and vibration. I think this may help u. The reason I believe that’s happening to you... is because the front kick skin is not ported and allowing the punch to breath. And the vibration is bouncing back and fourth with the batter to the front skin. So it feels funny, sounds funny and really frustrating at times. Just a little tip to see if that would help you. Stay drumming bro.
I believe the port option is inevitable. I can't understand why they were made like that, especially with that much punch behind. What is weird though is that it was happening with front head completely off. I agree though that porting the front head may resolve the issue. Thanks for watching and writing! I appreciate it.
@@TheRealHowardYates have you tried tuning the batter head a little bit lower? I had a similar issue even with a ported reso head, once I tuned the batter down a bit it was reduced a lot. Good video mate!
That head is looser now. The reso head is, too. Not too loose, however. I played an EMAD last year on a house kit that was barely on. Felt like going through mud. But after a few songs I got used to it. Really liked it.
Milliliter???? It's mil which means 1000th of an inch.

Also the batter head doesn’t need to be so tight
