I use old heads to make different "big fat snare heads", also a sheet of paper on the snare was something i used to do about 20 years ago. gives a phat sound
good video, however the amount of times something telling me to subscribe was super distracting and not in a good way, the 2 complete pauses to the video were very interrupting. however the actual content of the video was very good in my opinion!
Okay, I need to order some Tandem Drops immediately. I think KBrakes and Pearl's air suspension floor tom feet are more elegant solutions than the KickBlock and Tru Vibe, although you obviously can't use the feet on a snare stand. Not as nice and not as long-lasting, but instead of spending $30 or whatever on the BFSD, you can just cut out an old drum head.
I use the No Nuts and the Cym-rings, and I swear by them. They're one of the best upgrades to my rig that I've ever used. Like you, I use them on everything but the china, where I have a Tama quick release. I even use the Cym-rings on the hihat clutch. 🤘
These are the types of videos I just love. Thank you for doing this. This is a note to everybody that can't afford the EAD such as myself but I already have microphones. Because the EAD is like $500. You can get Stephen slate trigger Platinum for $120 . It triggers off of the microphones. I bought it on sale last Christmas for $50. So keep an eye out for sales. The plus side to using the EAD is it incorporates your cymbals as well whereas slate is only for drums.
Another banger. Been looking for those tru vibes for my snare stand to mount my tom but had no freaking idea what they were or what they were called! Thank you!
Once I'm able to get my drums out of storage I plan to get a bunch of Rock Locks for all my toms and snare. Love the Lowboy Beaters too! Solid beaters🤘🏼
I never understood the need for lug locks. In my 20 years of gigging I have never had a snares lugs loosen up on me like that. I even have that same snare drum you're using in the video (yamaha hybrid maple) which is fantastic and it's never been an issue.
I want that mic so bad..... I wish they didn't make the side controller. Have it connect to a daw for that shit. I didn't buy a drum rug I bought tiles that were like acoustic foam but for the floor of the drums. All the pedals and bass drum legs can dig their screws in really well. I have to move my entire set forward a little. It will be hard because of the foam haha. Also you should have put in trick drums double bass pedal shaft with the bearing. Also the triggers that go under the bass pedal. On trigger Gen 3 are so cool. No more toms setting off the bass.
I'd say the yamaha is best bang for you're buck but if you want microphones but not on the drums for live may miking system is amazing pricey but worth it no damaging the mic and always in the spot you leave it just one less thing you have to setup also no bleeding in the mix
The X click is a blasphemy in my genre of music. Lol I'm not a drummer but all the drummers in my genre would simply say.....or you can LEARN how to play crosstick correctly 😅 I'd say it's a good product though for drummers that are in a recording session and don't have consistent crosssticks this could definitely help.
I’m really confused!! Your title says 10 products every drummer NEEDS! Then your first sentence you’re saying no, you don’t really need them????? Confused???
This video was super informative, Thank you.
Love these kinds of vids, always nice to see what other drummers find useful
Thanks :)
Amazing video, no waffle just straight to the point. Really appreciated 🔥🔥
I love my EAD10 it is the "secret weapon".

A helpful & interesting video. Thanks for doing this

I’ll keep that in mind for the next one I appreciate that feedback so much!!
It wasn’t that bad. I had no issues with it.
@@ronniek7748 it's just a personal little thing is all! i understand not being bothered by it though :)
I agree. The ones who usually get more subscriptions and likes are the ones who don't beg for it.
Really cool stuff. Some of these things are already on my "Must-buy" list with Amzn. Have the Tru vibe snare isolators. Thanks for the upload.
Thanks because I've just started drumming & learning 👍☕️
the creeping drum stop motion was the best part of the video.

Once I'm able to get my drums out of storage I plan to get a bunch of Rock Locks for all my toms and snare. Love the Lowboy Beaters too! Solid beaters🤘🏼
You’ll love them!
@@thecowboydrummer I dont doubt it!
I’m only three products in this video is sick in the best way!

My man!! Thanks for everything 🤘❤️
Have you tried the cymbal resonance system( CRS )for your cymbals. In my opinion they work. Thank you, subscribed
Let’s go!! I heard of them. Thank you :)

Rock locks. Should have been invented years ago. Thanks for sharing
Great video, I just subscribed!!!!
😭🤘
Will the kick block move on a rubber matt
It has Velcro on the bottom so it’s good for rugs unless you put Velcro strips on the rubber
If there is carpet slippage normally not a problem
Nice video, have you ever seen The Drum Wallet? You may like that too!
I'd say the yamaha is best bang for you're buck but if you want microphones but not on the drums for live may miking system is amazing pricey but worth it no damaging the mic and always in the spot you leave it just one less thing you have to setup also no bleeding in the mix
I think the “x” in x click is meant to be pronounced as “cross” y’know the same way x-stick is an abbreviation of cross stick
love that cymbal stand Sniper Rifle!
Interesting stuff ....
Watched the entire thing... I only own an electronic kit🙆♂️😁😂
The X click is a blasphemy in my genre of music. Lol I'm not a drummer but all the drummers in my genre would simply say.....or you can LEARN how to play crosstick correctly 😅

The Rock locks are awesome, but at $20 for a package of 10 is way too pricey for small plastic pieces. Over $100 to cover my kit 😢
Just cover your snare get one pack
A sub to this channel is a MUST for every drummer! 🫡🥁
I’m really confused!! Your title says 10 products every drummer NEEDS! Then your first sentence you’re saying no, you don’t really need them????? Confused???
Its 2024.
😂🤘
Good video. Subbed.
You the best 🤘
Key hole your cymbals....ha ha ha
the video seems sponsored all the way through
It’s not
Garbage! Drummers only need sticks! (Or brushes)
i hope this is satire
Full stopping the video and banner ads asking me to subscribe for more doesn’t make me want to watch more.
K then bye
