I feel like this is gonna be like dominos like, first cube runners shut down then big scary and other gtag ripoffs and horror and soon where it all started (I think) gorilla tag.
So to break this down: the final live event will be the cubes breaking out of the simulation due to it slowly breaking because Xdee1 can’t manage it anymore, and we will have to make it out before the world collapses in in itself. RIP cuberunners, the best contender for best fangame. We will miss this.

jeez, monkey mischief, capuchin, now cube runners, for all different reasons? let me explain all of the reasons. so, monkey mischief had a bit of code that was an error, and it costed the developer over $40,000k worth of debt. monkey mischief is now back up, but it's just *not the same.* capuchin. one of the most beloved fangames, was shut down first because of hacking, or the making of the capuchin remake. the remake came with some crazy stuff, but only about 4-5 months later it got hacked. cube runners is explained in this video.
So I know v3 is out but when I saw this video, I broke into tears even more why because I was trying to get gorilla tag, but it wasn’t going as I planned and it made me kind of sad seeing this video made me cry even more at the time was about to shut down my friend tried to make me play a different game all the time but I refused since the last two weeks was out so I spent 2 weeks in vr on cube runners won the end was announced and came out.
