- A user named "TheBirbsWord" released a Roblox game called "Merge!" on January 24th, 2021. The goal is to merge two of the same balls to make a bigger ball, this process continues up until the twentieth and last ball is obtained. However five final balls were added and players would end up pushing this game to it's limit.

Birb, on the maps can you uh remove some collisions for pillars and other deco balls tend to get stuck or sometimes for me they get sent out and sometimes don’t respawn?

So, basically, a lot of people were scammed out of a lot of money, spent on a shitty merge game on balls that ultimately wouldn't even stick around, rendering their purchases ultimately meaningless in about a week when the server they spend their money on crashes.

@@thepaperperson_gay that’s not how that works, it doesn’t save locally, it’ll save to the game itself, which means the saves will be stored in roblox servers technically.

if balls did get flung out of the map, it would just respawn back. ive had a couple cases where exploiters would spin really fast and flinging yhe balls, and instead of deleting our progress they ended up just helping us mixing the balls easier lol

I remember to keep ourself not being bored. We would name the balls and keep them as pets. One ball was named Jerry the other was named Bob. And when they merged we will decide who's ball is whos. I dont remember much but when we got to ball 20 We named it "Harry-Stewie Ghostcube" a collection of the servers 3 favorite balls

13:04 the 25 ball is the watermelon looking ball on the right to the king of diamonds card, it looks small but i searched up all the balls in merge and it showed me them all (ofc except ball 25) and that was the only ball i couldnt find

In merge fanmade, I was a part of getting ball 25. I’m glad it happened. But it crashed soon after. Everything lost. Some exploiters joined and did silly stuff but we did it. At last. It has no players rn.

I don't know what the point of the video is, but I can't help but feel like it's nothing but a good look into how insanely easy it is to make a predatory game. Of course people are gonna wanna see every funny looking ball and literally all it had to do was it make it take an unreasonable amount of time to get every ball and make the game so poorly that it crashes over and over and over so you quite literally have to spend money to get everything. It's not even a grind like a clicker at that point, you're not paying to skip the wait time, but to guarantee you get to see the last ball. I'm happy for anyone who had a good time with this game without spending money, but everyone who did waste their hard earned cash, I'm sorry you were preyed on by such a shitty game.

I actually played this game quite a bit for a little bit, interesting to see how insane people would spend inorder to reach the endgoal.

Dude the memories!! I was in the server to reach ball 20 for the first time and I remember the dude buying 1K balls at least 6 times. When we reached ball 20, birb joined the game and did a sword fighting royal while we are all dressed up as dinosaurs lol. And I don’t mean to flex or anything (totally flexing) but, I won the royal. I remember those times years ago man…

This is completely unrelated to the video, but in the JToH map, the cyan block in the Citadel of Laptop Splitting tower frame is unanchored. If you get there, you can push it down into the ball pit. It doesn't do anything except sit there, but it could potentially be used as a helper for dupes?

13:08 the 2 sea green balls have a distinct texture, not like any of the materials for any of the balls. if you look at any of the other balls, they do not have a seagreen color or texture like that. it is possible those 2 are ball 25

1 robux is worth around 1 cent (0.01 USD) so just divide the robux by 100 and you have your dollars spent.

Thank you, I'm happy this is your favorite video of mine. I don't usually tend to make part twos for videos like these, for instance The Password Game video I uploaded, which recently had a bit of a breakthrough and could have an updated video to it, however to me I probably wouldn't make a follow-up on that video or any other video like this I've made.
I haven't fully been caught up on the Merge! games and community but I am aware the new Merge game added five final balls, all being different from Merge Classic, I'm glad I was able to make the new Merge expand farther because of this video. I don't exactly remember what Balls 21-25 is but I've seen them all before, especially the question mark ball shown in the thumbnail of this video, believe it or not Birbs himself reached out to me and was inspired to make the ball in the thumbnail in the new Merge itself which is cool.
I do remember there being a duplication glitch with the saving and loading feature in new Merge, but when it comes to Merge Classic I don't believe much has happened there. I'd imagine many people went for Ball 25 and sadly ultimately failed but as for public servers if I recall Ball 22 has been obtained legitimately before. Obviously Ball 25 has been obtained tons of times due to exploits and many other loopholes to break the game.
Merge Classic holds a special place in my heart, it was a really fun game and community from late 2021 to mid 2022. I enjoyed grinding for Ball 25 and just being around the community at that time. I sort of made this video to really get this game and story out there and I suppose I was successful with it. I'm glad I was able to come back to this project for a couple weeks and let many people (probably) experience the same thing. I never really cared for new Merge, it's not bad it just didn't have that simplistic taste of feeling that Merge Classic had, this video was subjected around Merge Classic.
I'm not sure what else has happened around Merge and it's community but I imagine a lot more has happened that I've missed, but unfortunately I probably will not make a part two to this video. I simply just wanted to make this as some kind of reminiscence that could be seen out there and I believe I did a good job at doing that.
@@SlashedWasTaken I understand not wanting to make a second part, the production would completely rupture your upload schedule, merge (and the classic version) is a phenomenon in Roblox in which a community comes together and has to persevere through the chaos and spend hours at a time in a single server, it won’t happen again, and that’s fine, but as Igor said in Minecraft story mode (which is one of my all time favorites) “Nothing built can last forever, and every legend no matter how great fades with time.” The saga of merge will never happen again, but it was pretty damn awesome to see it.
To me I don't see there being another game like Merge Classic, maybe on the subject of time-wasting probably but man it hits hard looking back it. Over two years ago doesn't feel real to me.
On a side note I guess I don't really have an upload schedule, I'm not really sure what to upload but when the time comes I'll think or remember something, and get it finished days if not weeks later. I finished a 15-minute video a few weeks ago but never got around to uploading it, mainly because I think it's a bit boring but I've also gotten into some deep territories lately, just some personal things that I should probably lay low for a bit, but who knows, maybe something for Merge might happen again

As one of the people who spent days in the new merge game and contributed a lot, we did get balls 21, 22, 23 and 24 in the new game. And we did so before this video was released so I think you should make a vid on that

Just yesterday I got recommended the new Merge game and tried it out for about 5 minutes. And now I just got recommended this video at the time of this comment and watched it all the way through to understand why Merge kept popping up in my Roblox games feed lol
