Baggio is undeniably one of the greatest footballers in history, known for his incredible skill, vision, and that unforgettable penalty miss in the 1994 World Cup final. However, when creating a top 10 list, it's always challenging because so many legends have graced the sport, each bringing something unique. There are two lies in this video about Pele: he did not win 3 world cups, that is a lie. He did not play Chile 66 due to injury. It is also a lie that he scored more than 1000 goals, even FIFA acknowledges that Pele scored less than 800 goals and was surpassed by Messi and Cristiano long ago. Finally, Pele is not the best, Messi is. I would pick Maradona, Cristiano, Romario and Ronaldo over the overated Pele.
62 World Cup was in Chile not 66 and Pele played first game but was injured so player no further games. Still got a winners medal though, so yes won 3 World Cups! Messi is best you were right about that
@@aero8413 would you say a player "won" a world cup just because he played the initial match? To me that does not make any sense, just that some people want to make Pele look better than he actually was. They are out of arguments now that Messi won everything and far surpassed Pele in every single way, so they are reduced to claiming Pele "won" a world cup where he only played the first match. Sorry but no, he did not win that cup, it was his team mates who won it. And they would also have won it in 1970 without Pele.
Our apologies for the oversight, and we appreciate you pointing it out! R9, despite his incredible career and numerous accolades, indeed never won the UEFA Champions League. We'll be more careful in the future to ensure our content is accurate. Thanks for keeping us on our toes!
00:25-00:30 it wasn't his flair and his play style with his vast array of tricks that earned him the nickname "gaúcho" "Gaúcho" is simply someone from Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil. For a short time, R9 (Luís Ronaldo Nazário de Lima) used to be called "ronaldinho" by commentators as well... The -inho suffix is added to names as either a form endearment or to suggest they are small or young. (The last one being the case for both of them, because they were golden boys of Brasil, absolutely phenomenonal at such a young age) When the player we know today as Ronaldinho (Ronaldo de Assis Moreira) burst onto the scene, there came to be TWO young Ronaldos or two Ronaldinhos, only a 4 year age gap... The younger one came to be known as Ronaldinho Gaúcho because he was from Rio Grande do Sul. Then, over time, R9 just became known as Ronaldo and the name Ronaldinho Gaúcho stuck with the younger one of the two. TL:DR: Gaúcho isn't any more special of a title for a Brazilian guy from Rio Grande do Sul than "Brummie" is for someone from Birmingham, England. The title has nothing to do with his skills.
Thank you for sharing such a detailed and accurate explanation! You've provided some valuable insight into the background of Ronaldinho's nickname, and it's clear that you know your football history well. Indeed, "Gaúcho" is a regional term for someone from Rio Grande do Sul, and the "-inho" suffix is commonly used in Brazil as a term of endearment or to signify youth, as you correctly pointed out. It's interesting how the nickname evolved to distinguish between the two Ronaldos, both of whom made such a huge impact on football at a young age. We always appreciate comments that dive deep into the facts and add context to the discussion, just like this one. Thanks again for your input!

Sure, he might not have been at his peak during the 2006 UCL final or the World Cup, but that doesn’t take away from everything he achieved in his career. Every player, no matter how talented, can have a game or even a tournament where things don’t go their way. Leading them to victory in the 2016 Euro 💀💀💀
no Platini
Moller? 🤣
R9 never won the UCL...
Our apologies for the oversight, and we appreciate you pointing it out! R9, despite his incredible career and numerous accolades, indeed never won the UEFA Champions League. We'll be more careful in the future to ensure our content is accurate. Thanks for keeping us on our toes!
2 years off from injuries. That's why.
00:25-00:30 it wasn't his flair and his play style with his vast array of tricks that earned him the nickname "gaúcho"
"Gaúcho" is simply someone from Rio Grande do Sul, Brasil.
For a short time, R9 (Luís Ronaldo Nazário de Lima) used to be called "ronaldinho" by commentators as well...
The -inho suffix is added to names as either a form endearment or to suggest they are small or young. (The last one being the case for both of them, because they were golden boys of Brasil, absolutely phenomenonal at such a young age)
When the player we know today as Ronaldinho (Ronaldo de Assis Moreira) burst onto the scene, there came to be TWO young Ronaldos or two Ronaldinhos, only a 4 year age gap...
The younger one came to be known as Ronaldinho Gaúcho because he was from Rio Grande do Sul.
Then, over time, R9 just became known as Ronaldo and the name Ronaldinho Gaúcho stuck with the younger one of the two.
TL:DR:
Gaúcho isn't any more special of a title for a Brazilian guy from Rio Grande do Sul than "Brummie" is for someone from Birmingham, England.
Ronaldinho is the best
Ronaldinho's skills were magical! His flair and joy for the game made him unforgettable.
Is that why he ghosted wc 2006 and ucl final 2006
messi is number 1 pele never scored 91 goals in a league season or many assists pele was not even the best player for the second world cup he played anyone with a brain knows messi was robbed of the golden ball an 2022 world cup ronaldo was not close to messi the only reason people say ronaldo became of the ucl even tho messi outperformed ronaldo in the ucl for the first 4 seasons clowns 🤡 people are
Pele has the highest goalscoring rate in history .
They all great but Messi is the Greatest
Messi❤
100% agree with the list ❤
Theres messi. .and theres everyone else
Ronaldinho is the best.Ever.
No arguments here! Ronaldinho's smile alone could win any game.
Is that why he ghosted ucl final 2006 and wc 2006
@@jonnybarron1518 Even the best players have their off days, and Ronaldinho is no different. Sure, he might not have been at his peak during the 2006 UCL final or the World Cup, but that doesn’t take away from everything he achieved in his career.
Every player, no matter how talented, can have a game or even a tournament where things don’t go their way. What really matters is how they’re remembered in the long run, and people still talk about Ronaldinho with so much admiration. His flair, his creativity, and the pure joy he brought to the game are why he’s still loved by fans all over the world. So, while he might have had some off moments, his legacy is built on countless brilliant ones that still inspire and entertain to this day.
@@jonnybarron1518In UCL Final he was the reason why Arsenal took the red car and the match changed because of his laser pass to Eto,o. Have some football knowledge before you talk. Also if we count how many times Messi ghosted during an international match especially, we will lose the counting. (vs Germany 2010, 2014 for example). And vs Bayern in ucl level. What do you say about those matches?
Zidane.
The top or number 1 should be R9. R9 beats all players just with his speed!
R9 was undeniably a phenomenon on the pitch, and his speed, skill, and sheer presence were unmatched in his prime. It's hard to argue against the idea that he could outrun and outplay just about anyone during his best days. Thanks for sharing your thoughts-R9’s legacy is one that will always spark passionate debates among football fans!

No mention of Luka Modric. smh.... The GOAT CM
Luka Modrić is truly one of the greatest central midfielders to ever grace the game. His vision, control, and ability to dictate the tempo of a match are unparalleled, and he's played a pivotal role in both Real Madrid's domestic and international successes. From winning five UEFA Champions League titles to lifting the Ballon d'Or in 2018, Modrić's influence on the pitch cannot be overstated.
It's no surprise that fans like you see him as the GOAT in the central midfield role. While this particular list might have focused on other aspects of football greatness, Luka Modrić’s name will forever be etched in the annals of football history. Thanks for bringing attention to such a deserving player-he certainly deserves the recognition!
Hahah

Bro u put CR7 at 9th 😂😂😂 Ass video 👍
Thanks for the feedback! The rankings are more about sparking discussion and drawing attention to these incredible players. Comparing the influence and legacy of football legends like CR7 is highly subjective and can't be done objectively. Everyone has their own perspective, and that’s what makes football debates so interesting!
Pele should be undisputed no. 1, but Ronaldo nazario was the best he was unbelievable
The goat Messi 👑🐐✨
Messi🐐🐐
Cr7 is better than bekenbaur, zidane, cruyff, gurd muller and arguably pele and maradona as well.
I guarantee you're under the age of 25 if you truly believe that
@@IWannatalkpodcast im actually 26, and i know it, believing means theres a "might" or "might not" be true, but in this case you don't have to believe it, its just facts
It's tough to compare legends, right? CR7's resume is stellar, no doubt, but the likes of Beckenbauer, Zidane, Cruyff, Müller, Pele, and Maradona brought their own magic to the pitch. It’s all about what you value more in football-goals, flair, or revolutionary impact. Who’s your ultimate GOAT?
