Yooooo!!! I'm here for all the Aes reactions! Keep this shit up...Dude is goated!! I'd like to recommend his tracks "No City" and "Gopher Guts" if you haven't touched them yet! ✌️

  • @ChaosAura

anyone who thinks old Aesop is better is blinded by nostalgia. Hes fucking consistently as good as it gets.

  • @kirswords8587

ITS is such a dope album. My favorite from Aes in a while. Great reaction homies, as always!

Aesop's new albums are his best work and it's not even close. He's gotten better in every aspect, beats, production, lyrics and flow. ALL BETTER.

Aes does not tour anymore, he's very outspoken about not having any interest in the tour life. You guys hit the nail on the head when you called him an introverted rapper back on the Dorks review

  • @WarrenLeggatt

There are so few people that can bounce a beat like Aes. He has the ability to shift his cadence many times mid flow and it just sound natural.

    ITS is not a cult

  • @jamesoblivion

Billy's verse here has a real Beat poetry flavor to it. Amazing imagery. The features on this album are pitch perfect.

  • @Doctor_Beats

billy woods is the most prolific writer making hip-hop music right now.

  • @MrSmokeytehbear

Aesop ages like a fine wine getting better and better

  • @PeterMckee

I love that you're covering this album, literally one of my favourite rappers!

  • @MegaRoundhead

Best album of 2023 for me. Love your Aes reactions!

    Dusk, dawn and night. Brilliant.

  • @LetTheWrite1inn

Aesop is one of the most consistent artists across any genre

  • @erebus890

As far as I know Aes hasn’t toured in quite some time. I mean dude is 48 now so makes sense.

  • @KingOfNebbishes

A lot of people who came to Aes early don't like the newer stuff because it's not as dense lyrically. Early Aes vs. Later Aes is like the difference between a drinking a stout versus drinking a porter. Really the album that marks a real shift in his density is The Impossible Kid. What came before that album, while great, is MUCH harder to work through lyrically.

    billy woods is the GOAT

The other album is Hanni El Khatib's, Will The Guns Come out. He has a feature on the Aes album. Enjoy, and thanks for the shout-out!!

The last time Aesop toured, that I'm aware of, was 2017, in support of The Impossible Kid. I saw him on that tour, with Homeboy Sandman, Rob Sonic, and DJ Zone. Absolute fire. Aes, Sand, and Bobby all did some solo joints, then Aes and Sand did some Lice joints, and Aes and Rob did some Hail Mary Mallon joints. Aes was cool after the show and signed my favorite HMM record. Can't believe he hasn't toured since. Maybe some day, but I think he's happy just making music right now and not having to stress about the road.
