Aesop & Homeboy Sandman as LICE is my FAVE project of Aesop's. they really bring out the best in each other & add the other's style to their own amazingly! Sandman LIce's Zilch -"Lice got a secret handshake that includes painting a landscape & equal distribution of the SYRUP 'tween the top & bottom pancakes. Surveyed the damage from the rampage & pieced it together with glow-in-the-dark band-aids"
@2:14 "idk how somebody can do a drug house scene, & then also a science scheme & some potergiest shiz & keep it flowing..." AWESOME SUMMARIZATION OF AES ON SO MANY LEVELS. GLORIOUS!
On this track, it's Aes, Sand then Mike! Also, this didn't make the cut, it's not on the album proper, it's just a bonus track. Don't get me wrong, the discography is A+ all around but this dude changes it up on each album and isn't a one trick pony. You can pick ANY album and you're guaranteed some super dense and dope lyricism. If I had to elect one for a reaction, it'd be hard to choose but I think I'd lean towards None Shall Pass. The Impossible Kid is a great introduction to some easier to digest material and Skelethon was my favorite for some time... lol, this dude is the 🐐, there's no bad choice, whatever you choose!
For a full album, Impossible Kid is very consistent but I would go with Skelethon. There might be one or two skips on that but when it hits, it hits really hard. Malibu Ken, Aesop's project with producer Tobacco, is also a good choice and it's short at under 50 minutes IIRC. For my taste, Skelethon is the peak Aes album.
Impossible kid is a good Aes album to start with. it's probably his easiest to comprehend. I saw him in concert when he was doing the tour for this album, so it's a special one for me personally. Open Mike Eagle opened for him and was fantastic too. I think you guys would enjoy him. I would suggest "Celebrity Reduction Prayer"
Check out Aesop Rock's Daylight, AppleSeed, and Float. These are all early Aesop Rock albums produced by Blockhead. These are the albums that turned me into an Aesop Rock fan.
IMO Impossible kid has stronger hold on it bc he was straight missing at that barn, in, off the grid mode. So you got Aesop deprived and you got a more isolated Aesop writing poems
Simple syrup in his viens is more likely to be a reference to eating lots of highly processed foods full of corn syrup due to seclusion. look at the album cover itself.. lol it's a consistent theme throughout.
second all the other comments here in that more Impossible Kid would be a solid place to start. Whole album is gold. Get out the car Shrunk Kirby ^ is a 3-part story about grief, hope, depression, loss, motivation, going to therapy, finding meaning, raising a kitten From his more recent album, i think ya'll would really fuck with Pigeonometry or Vititus.
Impossible Kid is the non-skip album and it even comes with a full length animated video too. ruclips.net/video/PQF6x_FgnJ0/видео.html I'd also suggest Garbology or Skelethon as a showcase of Aes' talents. I've been listening to him for 20 plus years and i'm still impressed on the daily. There's also a spiritual prequel to this song by Open Mike Eagle - I Went Outside Today (feat. Aesop Rock)
& the Open Mike Eagle rabbit hole is awesommmmmme & extensive. one of my fave 'nerd' rappers. he even had a sketch show on Comedy Central called "The New Negroes' for a season. i met him when in early 2000s when i volunteered at the best non-profit arts program in L.A & he was on the volunteer Board of Directors. he shouts out to the program, JUICE (justice united in creative energy) in a few tracks, HIZ TRACKS W/ LIZZO, DANNY BROWN & HANNIBAL BURRESS ARE HYSTERICAL
This song used to be my pandemic anthem. It's a bonus track on The Impossible Kid, if I'm not mistaken. That is the album you should try first, in my humble opinion. It's the one that got me hooked on this guy.

I gotta disagree I think Impossible Kid by far is the best album to start as SWFG is so dense and obscure that I feel Impossible Kid is probably the least difficult to follow along
@@Dr.Deathwish to follow along is not recommended at all in the land of Aseop period. If you think you will just "follow along" skel or float you aren't going to listen to the vibe very well. SWFG has: dog at the door, pizza alley, and at the gates. All these are easier than mystery fish, or super cell. While you are correct to vote impossible kid, you are incorrect to disagree SWFG isn't the mark to hit. If you can't vibe with SWGF (an unstoppable album) you won't ever hear bazooka tooth, ever. I started at float.
@@l3ul2t I've listened to all of Aesop's discography and I'm not saying SWFG is not a good album by any means I'm just saying that it's dense and is not as great a starting point for new listeners.
@@Dr.Deathwish I heard you. You are wrong. Float is the least most accessible album. He was more disorganized, and songs had less of a theme you could quickly identify. I don't think Skelethon or Malibu Ken are more accessible either. Also, mystery fish and supercell are the best tracks on impossible kid,. they aren't accessible songs, the best songs aren't. I'd say SWFG is the second easiest album to just vibe with, it's about an imaginary place, the themes are mostly exaggerate, it's not as deep as you are making it. SWFG is not only a great place to start but would make the best album review considering the progression of the narrative across each track.
Nearly every album of his is amazing but if you want a "no skips" album definitely do Spirit World Field Guide. It's his magnum opus, in my opinion (so far).
for his new songs can you do . 1 Aesop Rock - All City Nerve Map 2 and Aesop rock - Salt and pepper squid 3 Aesop Rock ft Hanni El Khatib "Kyanite Toothpick"
If you want a whole-album reaction from Aes I recommend Beastiary by Hail Mary Mallon (his duo with Rob Sonic). It has a whole storyline and zero skips!
If you want a nasty Aes verse you should check Off Broadway - Rob Sonic ft. Aesop And Id put a vote for The Impossible Kid for an album listen, a very introspective piece of work from start to finish.
Y'all gotta check out cannibal ox... I would be interested in your reaction... You are the first genuine aesop reactions I've seen.. Very unexpected, I'm all for it. I already subscribed, but check them out. Cannibal ox that is, they were super fire.. They do with beats. What aesop does with words, although their words are very deep as well
If you like this one check out Tuesday of aesop's malibu ken album and oh fudge off his garbology album. You've never heard a man so eloquently describe living in trash and mold.
Homeboy Sandman - Go Hard , Aesop Rock - The Impossible Kid (Full Album Stream)
Adding some more checks!!

Skelethon is my goto Aesop album 👍
Impossible kid is the one!!!
👀
@@BeersBars Labor Days as well, has a much more old school feel since it came out in 2001 but just as good
The impossible kid is a great Aesop album to check out.. comes on vinyl along with the rest of his collection.. 👌🏼🤓
Honestly Aesop's newest album ITS (Integrated Tech Solutions) is a no skip album you should check out.
Adding some checks in the box!!
you skip songs on his other albums? im so ashamed of you... im just joking. I got all the vinyl now so I kinda forgot about skipping songs

As "Lice" Sandman and Aes did a tribute to MF Doom after he died called "Ask Anyone." Worth checking out. Great reaction.
If you think his imagery is gross in this one you should hear the couple tracks where he dissolves into a pile of goo, "Tuesday" and "Oh, Fudge."
The Impossible Kid vinyl is the one to get. The record is fire and the inserts and artwork is dope af.
Impossible kid. Hands down. My favorite album without hesitation.
IMO Impossible kid has stronger hold on it bc he was straight missing at that barn, in, off the grid mode. So you got Aesop deprived and you got a more isolated Aesop writing poems

Love this track… this Album (Impossible Kid) or Garbology for the feature
Simple syrup in his viens is more likely to be a reference to eating lots of highly processed foods full of corn syrup due to seclusion. look at the album cover itself.. lol it's a consistent theme throughout.
Aesop 🐐 writer of our time. Not rap writer, artist writer. He’s our Michelangelo and I am happy I know it.
He's more of a Caravaggio due to how underappreciated he is while pushing out masterpieces.
Props for doing some of the more obscure tracks.

Mike is the motherfuckin man, Hella Personal Film Festival and Brick Body Kids Still Daydream are both 10/10, no skip albums IMO.
He is talking about his own home, self isolation and self neglect.
The Impossible Kid is my favorite album of all time. You need to go down that rabbit hole. He even made a full video for the whole album.
Aesop Rock is amazing. The Gates is a fuckin' banger IMO.
Y’all gotta keep these Aesop reactions going. Dude is a legend. I recommend checking out preservation with Wu tang clan. It’s pretty short.

react to QUAVO DISSTRACK by CHRIS BROWN!! garantueed good views, reactors going crazy on this one and getting mad views. DO IT ASAP!!

Nah, not MK and especially not Included 😂

Nicotine 💀
