I love when a bike maker goes with full groupsets. So many will call something Ultegra but the crank, chain, bottom bracket will be something else. Good video
Nice review! I had an Infinito CV which was lovely to ride, fast, comfortable and agile, but I never liked how it looked so changed it for an Oltre CV which is just as fast, comfortable and agile and I could still get the position I favour. Now I feel I have all the bike I could ever want...
Hello Bob - Thank You for watching! I looked up that pass you mentioned in RAMROD - pretty sure with the grade as mentioned in PJAMM - Lori would be able to big ring that climb. “INTRO This 7.8 mile bike climb is located in WA, USA. The average gradient is 5.5% and there is a total elevation gain of 2,260 ft, finishing at 4,688 ft.” pjammcycling.com/climb/3850.Cayuse-Pass
I have a 2019 Infinito CV. Full Ultegra groupset. It’s a great all rounder. Looks the part. Can pick up speed quickly but not as much as it’s speed demon cousins XR4. Shifting could be a bit smoother (I currently have mechanical gears) I may upgrade to Di2, which would solve that. Good when riding on bumpy pathways. Takes out a bit of the shock. I picked mine up for a bargain price 2nd hand. I’m still a novice but overall, very happy with it. I look forward to riding it every week.
@@GSUnit21 BuyCycle. It’s a great website to buy used bikes for a fair price. I’ve seen them typically around the $2000-$2400 USD. However I managed to get mine at $1850 USD. It should be arriving sometime this week. Seller was sent the wrong box for packaging.
@@GSUnit21 I bought the bike off of BuyCycle. It’s a website you can buy used bikes at a fair price. You can talk to the seller for more information on the bike you’re interested in buying. And you can negotiate in the price. For the Infinito CV, I typically saw pricing ranging from $2000 USD to $2500 USD. I was lucky and managed to negotiate it down to $1850 USD. The bike should be here this week, as the seller was sent the wrong packaging for the bike.
Thank you so much for this video. I found one of these local and wasn’t sure if it was worth picking up or not as I’m pretty new to biking. I literally fell in love with the look of the bike. What would be a good deal for me to pay on a used version of this exact bike in good condition??? I really want to make him an offer, but I don’t wanna lowball!! please help
Congrats on finding an Infinito. I really don’t know what to recommend for a price for a used bike. I don’t know the value of a used bike. Thanks for watching please consider subscribing
@@SeeYouUpTheRoad thank you so much for the reply. I just subscribed. If I could get this under 3K I’m wondering if it’s a good deal in excellent condition. I prefer this over the newer ones as the paint scheme is a lot different.
For example right now I am working on a non-integrated cables bike. I needed to replace the headset bearings. I just pulled the fork out, changed the bearings, and put the fork back in. I will only have to charge the customer $20 labor (parts separate) not $200 for a bike with integrated cables.

Hi there, what's the widest wheelset width would you reocmmend? I'm thinking of running 30mm wide wheels, do you think that will be an issue with the fit?
I don’t know Jon. I would check their website and their spec. The riders I have sold these Infinito bikes to ride 25 tires. Nobody I know rides 28 tires, let alone 30 mm

Indeed. Specialized, Trek and Cannondale are known for that until you get to the top spec bike.

Totally agree!
I love my XR4 I will do a profile on it soon!

I own a 2017 model and love it. I’m glad it has the round seat post. Great first and last bike.

Legit bike. I had the 2018 version with the lower profile fulcrums. Rode it in Ramrod 2019.

Great review lovely looking bike 🚴👍🤩
It really is!

no integrated cable looks really outdated these days.
Yes it looks "outdated" to you from a mechanic's perspective it's SOOO much better!

How’s the CV technology? Does it make a big of a difference or just gimmick? Thank you so much!

what is the retail price of one of these bikes? aprox
I haven’t checked pricing recently but over $6000
I wonder if you see many R9000, R6800, R9100 and R8000 cranksets fail. Check out pics in #thanksshimano
Hello Andy - I saw one R8000. Funny thing is I ride far more than that rider that had the issue and all my R9100 and R9000 cranks are fine.
Cheers!
Best Bike Bianchi ever made but could not deliver. Waited a year and still waiting.
I know I have customers waiting for theirs and for some it is getting up to a year now 😭
