Wayfairing Stranger (Mossman Flint Hills, 1980)

The first official video on my new 1980 Mossman, Flint Hills guitar.
I feel so fortunate to be able to play and own this guitar. Believe it or not, it actually came in the original case with the sales receipt from when the previous owner purchased it back in 1980 from Winfield, KS. It also came with the receipt showing the work that Steve Mason later did to set the action. It plays beautifully and sounds absolutely amazing.
I ain’t no flatpicker but this Mossman is the perfect companion to have while I revisit that part of my guitar playing. I’m having so much fun learning some bluegrass standards and playing some old time songs on it. I can’t put this guitar down!
It’s always nice to have a hobby - even if it is still playing guitar.
