Anyone else notice from 21:40 - 22:50 the video pauses? Still love the channel and watch every video. Edit: That slowmo was really hard to watch!! Hope you are ok and good to go Mike!
Yep, we just noticed that. Something happened with the upload, no idea what, but now the delima of do we delete it and re-upload it and lose all the views and potentially kill are algorithm run or leave it... Good old electronics. Sorry for it but unsure right now how to fix it and lose the lease amount of money on it.
Dang Mike! I thought you had just scraped and bloodied it, didn't know you broke your thumb. That slow motion made me cringe!! I hope it heals soon and fast. Two great rescues! Great team effort!
Oh Mike, OUCH. The slow motion hurt to watch. Hope you recover quickly. As usual the team performs the impossible with finesse. And Rory, towing a trailer to boot. Love the videography of the hard work and the beautiful scenery. Thank you!
You guys are the absolute Kings of the Rocks. What you take those rigs up and down, with trailers or vehicles in tow, never ceases to amaze me. Then those trail repairs, even with a broken thumb, wow. And still get us pretty pictures of flowers. :D You Rock! Hope your thumb heals fast, Mike. That is one heck of a Diamond Billed Rock Pecker injury. Im gonna have to watch this episode again. I had my eyes closed for half of it. Those trails are insane.
I didn't need to see the slo-mo replay of Mike disrespecting his thumb! I had the same feeling watching Lawrence Taylor breaking Joe Theismans leg on Monday night football. Oooo--Owww!!! Great video guys. The scenery was great again!
That thumb injury, followed by the continued positive outlook and commentary is just one of the many reasons i watch this channel. Some humor, some technical stuff, some great scenery, and some guys who genuinely seem to be enjoying life. Keep it up guys, and thanks for the entertainment.
I agree not to many people can deal with their fracturing like this. As i a person who have smash my dumb and finger trying to hammer on things. Each time I'm hollering and cursing the tools and object I'm working with at thew time.
Dang Mike that hurt just watching it. Shawn's idea of a snatch block winch line to the trailer was brilliant (22:00). I was amazed how well it came around.
Mike's a relatively quiet, funny guy with SERIOUS skills behind the wheel or dangling from climbing gear. Very impressed. Being out there alone is kinda risky, but Sean had him in mind the whole time. Great teamwork. Great video.
Howdy Rory n the Trail Mater wrecking crew, I just wanted to give u a huge shout out! I saw Rorys discouragement a few videos back and I just wanna say this show in my opinion is #1 in the off road recovery world! I used to watch Matt daily, that was until I was introduced to Trail Mater, Fab Rats, Robby and Hillbilly u guys r all my daily watches and top pick!! Rory n team Trail Mater just happen to be #1 hands down, with the best operator period!!
I drove 30 miles on a smooth highway after breaking my thumb and the throbbing was intense! I don't even want to think about how you drove out of Pritchett with a fracture = bet you don't want to think about it anymore either Mike!
Great Video Gentleman. That was a Gnarly Piece of Real Estate but you guys kicked butt and took some names. Mike got a " Red Badge of Courage " but he soldiered through. Just another day for the Three Amigos Plus One.
Brutal thumb action warning! Mike heres wishing you fast healing. You guys work so focused on getting people out of trouble doing things that risk your safety, man please please please take care to keep yourselves safe/healthy. No recovery is worth injury to any of you guys. You guys are too valueable. I know i know if you dont take any risks youd never leave the shop. Be safe gentlemen.
I definitely felt that slow motion of Mike breaking his thumb. Stay safe out there, fellas! Take the time to heal properly. Your body will thank you in the future.
Please do more videos of the more technical stuff like this. Watching the Trail Mater crew navigate that technical section winching with the trailer was like watching art. Please more of this. You are living my dream.
You guys and your customer are amazing. The positive attitude, skills, and teamwork that all of you displayed in this 26-minute video would be a good lesson for all of us. Bravo!
When you are really crawling, bumping and grinding your way up those immovable rocks with all that power, I just don't understand how the clutch isn't instantly fried! Just awesome.
😢 Mike I felt that clear to Oklahoma! I am so sorry. I cannot imagine how much that hurt. That jeep even drew blood from the other guy, he was cool by the way! Not a wuss and dug right in helping fix his jeep. Someone watching from the comfort of their easy chair has no freaking clue how hard, mind bending and technical these recoveries are! This was a hard two recoveries, but everybody remained calm, cordial and worked together. No yelling, no drama, just that get er done attitude that wins every time. I love watching these recoveries but I sure hate the damage they cause to body and machinery. Stay safe and GOD bless
Capturing the audio from the Bluetooth Headsets to use in the videos is very cool! Nice addition. I noticed this week Paul at Fab Rats went on an Off-Road Recovery and they are using Bluetooth Headsets. He gave Rory a shout-out. I like it when good ideas are shared by people in the trades.
Mike is the iron man! I could feel the pain half a world away….. I hope that it is healing OK. Another great video from the Moab Motorsports crew, even if the cost in injury was too high. 👏👍🤩
The injuries these guys recieve and personnel dangers that they expose themselves too are hare ever seen by the public. These guys deserve credit abd validation for there work and humbleness to still make these videos for our entertainment. Thanks Rory and crew.
Mike get well brother I feel your pain. 2 trigger finger surgerys all five both hands. Can not climb anymore well 5 plates in my neck. Get well Mike and awesome repairs
Thanks for taking a minute when you were busy Rory. Have been wanting to meet and introduce myself for a long time we stopped the next morning but you all were off on an adventure somewhere
Damm mike, you made my whole hand hurt. I have arthritis in my left thumb from years of abusing it with a hammer. Hope it heals well. Thanks for sharing.
I don’t know why I spend so much time watching you clowns, oh wait, great videos, great scenery, great team , great driving and great work. I like Matt,Paul, Merlin and Eric but my go to is Trailmater . Never disappointed.
Mater time!! Let’s go! Mikes 🥜 must drag the trail the way he throttles Death Star up some of those rocks! Nice K5 build Mike, it’s coming along. And side note…I wish I had half of y’all’s constant positive vibes.
Thumbs up, Mike👍💪😉 You took that much better than I would have😮I broke my pinky toe recently & I know how bad that sucks, can't imagine a broken thumb. Hope it heals quickly. Alcohol helps with the pain lol😅
Prompt and full recovery, Mike. You're a better man than most, (definitely including me); breaking your thumb the way you did and still working the tools and the steering wheel to complete the recovery, that's combat soldier stuff right there!!!🤙
Smashed Finger ! I could feel that from 8 hours away ! That brings back memories of pain ! Some recoveries are easier than others ! But not these two ! Thanks for sharing !
Anyone else notice from 21:40 - 22:50 the video pauses? Still love the channel and watch every video.
Edit: That slowmo was really hard to watch!! Hope you are ok and good to go Mike!

@@trailmater it doesn't do too much harm to the video to leave it. Most people that watch that far will deal with it and skip ahead anyway!!
Not that big of a deal, just skipped ahead, things happen, just leave it.
I thought my PC crashed 🤣
Just sucks cuz the finish on that climb was pretty sweet. Lol.
Just when I thought you guys couldn't get any more manly, Mike breaks his thumb with a hammer and commando's right through it. Love it!
Top job Mike, I'd still be cursing 🤬 amazing self control 👍👍
As my father would have said, it won't hurt when the pain goes away 😅
Mike is one tough dude. Bust a bone and still chill as hell. Heal up soon mike.
All of us that have hit our thumps with a hammer raise you hand in solidarity with Mike 🤙
I still have PTSD from it.
"Thump? What thump?"
Lol. My nail turned black immediately. Found out I broke the bone into 3 pieces. You can feel you heartbeat in that kinda injury
🖐️

Front dig, Rear Dig, Broken jeep parts, Broken Mike parts. Great action packed video. Hope Mikes thumb heals ok.
Dang Mike! I thought you had just scraped and bloodied it, didn't know you broke your thumb. That slow motion made me cringe!! I hope it heals soon and fast.

I'm still screaming. ouch!!!!
Rory you are lucky to be able to work with two guys who are laughing and smiling and in a good mood. The mike and Sean show is five stars.
Even after smashing his thumb with a hammer....laughing and smiling. lol
Right on! Mike breaks a thumb & he's pointing out beautiful flowers & still smiling
Wow Mike's taken that finger injury like a trooper ......get well soon Mike
That slowmo at the end was BRUTAL. So glad you’re alright Mike and maybe a punch set should go into the kit from now on 😂
That x-ray says "alright" is a relative term.
I've seen some big three jaw pullers that may have worked in this situation in a more controlled manor.
That radio comm was awesome! Thanks for the treat Rory. Can’t believe how Mike stays so positive NO MATTER what is happening! #pain!!
Aloha Rory, My husband & I are huge fans here in Hawai’i our island home, just wanted to send some Aloha❤️& Blessings😇🤙🏾
Awww Mike I'm so sorry. Om goodness. And you still got us beautiful flower shots. Team greatest💚❣️
Oh Mike, OUCH. The slow motion hurt to watch. Hope you recover quickly. As usual the team performs the impossible with finesse. And Rory, towing a trailer to boot. Love the videography of the hard work and the beautiful scenery. Thank you!
woah, the rare and elusive REAR DIG! I feel blessed to have seen it! :D
Oh man! That hammered thumb was brutal. I've experienced a stray hammer blow several times but nothing like that. Ouch!
You guys are the absolute Kings of the Rocks.
What you take those rigs up and down, with trailers or vehicles in tow, never ceases to amaze me.
Then those trail repairs, even with a broken thumb, wow.
And still get us pretty pictures of flowers. :D
You Rock!
Hope your thumb heals fast, Mike. That is one heck of a Diamond Billed Rock Pecker injury.

I hope Mike's thumb/finger is OK. He really needs to be careful out in the back end of nowhere. You all stay safe out there.
It's def not ok, but it'll get the job done 😂
That sir, was some damn fine driving and maneuvering….well done!👍👍
That thumb injury, followed by the continued positive outlook and commentary is just one of the many reasons i watch this channel. Some humor, some technical stuff, some great scenery, and some guys who genuinely seem to be enjoying life. Keep it up guys, and thanks for the entertainment.
Mike, you took the hit very well.
I agree not to many people can deal with their fracturing like this. As i a person who have smash my dumb and finger trying to hammer on things. Each time I'm hollering and cursing the tools and object I'm working with at thew time.
Mike is a trooper!! Broken thumb, sucks. Heal quickly!! 👍🏻
Ouch that hammer blow was painful to watch Mike! Cool use of the side winch to help the trailer up too. Awesome teamwork!
Dang Mike that hurt just watching it.
Shawn's idea of a snatch block winch line to the trailer was brilliant (22:00). I was amazed how well it came around.
That was solid of Camus to take over. What a smash. Shawn and Rory crushing it too on that trail!
Shauns laugh is just the best haha Rory has a hearty laugh too!! Keepin it real! Love it ❤
That truck Mike is driving is a BEAST! I love it. Hard to type with one hand raised...
Mike's a relatively quiet, funny guy with SERIOUS skills behind the wheel or dangling from climbing gear. Very impressed. Being out there alone is kinda risky, but Sean had him in mind the whole time. Great teamwork. Great video.

Hold whatever you are beating on with some pliers. I learned the hard way blowing out my thumb doing exactly what you're doing
Great Video Gentleman. That was a Gnarly Piece of Real Estate but you guys kicked butt and took some names. Mike got a " Red Badge of Courage " but he soldiered through. Just another day for the Three Amigos Plus One.
