I came across this video tonight and realized It was probably the very first video of yours that I ever watched a few yrs ago. Still a good one. I watched the entire thing over again. Hopefully I can start getting some videos up soon.
Jerry was my Superintendent for 2 seasons back several yrs ago. He was sharp as they come and no nonsense. But also one of the funnest Supers I've ever had...
Jerry has a wealth of knowledge in his head due to his years in construction. Respecting his feed on how to do things is a wise choice. The dozer was the right machine for the job.
wow! what a nice base to start with for his building. nice clean finished job. i need to do something similar for a new shop. i like to use recycled concrete 304 for base and fill. it is fairly inexpensive, its local, seems to work well and packs great.
I was surprised you didn't unload the machines off the side of the trailer at that high curb. That customer has a great starting place for his building, nice job Mike & Jerry! Work safe Doug@ the "ranch"
I see your mack has the camelback springs. We bought a 1990 CH 600 tractor and speced it with air ride, mainly because we wanted to use the air ride scales. After that we bought everything with air suspension so they didn't beat themselves to death. I sure didn't miss changing those camelback springs.
Jumping a curb with a loaded trailer is the best way to destroy a trailer tire. Bring along some old car tires, unload dozer on street. Spin 90 on the tires, then mount curb. Mini Ex has rubber tracks so street protection not necessary. I always keep a pile of old car tires handy for these situations. I say car tires because they are light and easy to toss around. Old conveyor belting works good too.
Lol Mikey ! The kid on moped put you in your place. Lucky you scene him. I'm thinking. And that trailer of yours the best. I'm guessing a landall....? Job looked perfect as usual. Thank for showing.
Where did you get the 23s? That'd sure come in handy on some jobs. How does it compare price-wise to 53s? I didn't know they even had such a thing. My Indiana aggregate chart shows 23s are 3/8" minus.
Looks like ol Jerry got a sturn talking to at 17:01 for fraternizing with the neighbor lady . Sometimes a fella just needs a drink of life ! Lol just kidding
Dirt Perfect smart man. Thanks for the reply and for posting cool videos. Especially the one about skid steer injector problems. I checked the skidded at work and it has a rusty filler neck. It will be taken care of soon. Your the man.
I've toke a 690 off the side of a trailer an not by choice either needless say what foam was left on the seat if that gal. well you know where the rest of went.
Theres always a little sphincter tightening when loading a tracked machine on a wet trailer deck. My butt bit a chunk out of the excavator seat the other day. It wasn't pretty.
Why didn’t you just move over and back in again.... several times? Might not have needed the excavator to trim down that knob! & might have won the RUclips award for best use of the wrong tool for the job. Ahhh Mike... another opportunity lost... ~grin~
@@DirtPerfect you had the balls to get it off the trailer with the truck Jack knifed on the lot ,most people would have been scared you said it was a bad idea. I thought it was a good idea!! taking it off that way. didn't mess up street don't have to sweep up dirt so in my opinion you needed some balls to do it that way most people would be scared how's that more informative lol
Btw Jerry knows his stuff!! you probably had to eat your words for just originally only wanting the skid steer there. Jerry is the man new stickers just ask Jerry or jerry knows 😂😂
Man I love Jerry, such a good honest hard worker, your bloody lucky to have him on your team
Yes I am

I see both sides of the argument
I wouldn't recommend asking Jerry what you should do with the camera.
😜 10/4

Well at least someone is working and not just eating Wendy’s and talking 🤣🤣. Great job Jerry!
lol got to love Jerry 😁
You ever think about adding led warning lights to your trailer they have them for turn stop back up warning led light heads its a all in one unit
Yes i just hate to add more wiring them I need just more to keep working 😁
A John Deere 764 High Speed Dozer might suit you guys for roading and knocking of smaller jobs- granted cost prohibitive
Looks like ol Jerry got a sturn talking to at 17:01 for fraternizing with the neighbor lady . Sometimes a fella just needs a drink of life !
Lol just kidding
Lol yup old Jerry 😁
Dirt Perfect he reminds me of my uncle Gerald .....Best guy in the world !

Mike, I got a one stack Mack with a window in the back also! Wait, I actually have 3!

I have a black Mack with a six pack and a single stack with the window in the back and an 8 track.
It don’t take no flack?
How many miles are on the ole Mack?
600k
Did you compact the clay for the building pad? Or is that not necessary in your area?
Yes I was. Not there for that

😬😁
was that truck big enough for that little excavator
Theres always a little sphincter tightening when loading a tracked machine on a wet trailer deck. My butt bit a chunk out of the excavator seat the other day. It wasn't pretty.
You got that right 😁

Dont bust tha curb!😟
It gets cut out where I backed over it was hoping it would bust help me about later
ROPS will not do you much good without a seatbelt.
Why didn’t you just move over and back in again.... several times? Might not have needed the excavator to trim down that knob! & might have won the RUclips award for best use of the wrong tool for the job. Ahhh Mike... another opportunity lost... ~grin~
Lol just need more time in the day to make it all happen 😁
