Chis do you equip your skid steers and backhoes with Ride Control ? Makes a huge difference both hauling material and empty. You cannot believe the difference it makes . I believe I was the first one in the country to try putting ride control on a skidsteer back around 2003. It was a Takeuchi TL130 we were selling to a tree farm that had to haul the trees a substantial ways to load the trailers and it was very rough on the operators as well as the machine. At that time I used a company out of Missouri called Hydra Smooth that specialized in creating ride control systems for all kinds of different equipment. The owner of the company agreed to try create a ride control system and install it on the TL130 we were demonstrating to the tree farm owners. The regional manager for Takeuchi made the trip also to see if the concept would work on a skidsteer especially with tracks. Everyone was skeptical to say the least, but I thought it would work as did the owner of Hydra Smooth. Everyone was shocked at the difference in ride for the operator and the ground smoothness of the machine while hauling the trees . Long story short that was the beginning of installing Ride control on skidsteers which is now some 20 yrs later a factory option for most manufacturers that sell all kinds of skidsteers. If you ever want to know more about that story anytime your welcome to call me 217 202 0877. Continued success

Two trucks! That explains the ‘reverse warning’ when a truck is moving forward. Didn’t see the second truck until the first had moved. Thought I was going mad.
I did 100 semi-trailers of building sand to level out this pad. Then 102 Cement trucks to lay the pad. Tons of work and a bulldozer did the leveling every 3 trucks. The pad leveled out a 48" drop in the back yard on a 70' building I put in. What a job. It worked out with a General contractor and 2 building construction The survey and ground was done under the General by a third party.
