I like drivers that are not scared to drive! Nice job trucker Chris 💪🏼
Amen to that
Dirt Boss Masonry & Excavating for sure!!!!
gotta love that grader attachment
Great video guys I like how you add weight to the roller and the wandering grade control bro. Safe travels
Damn! Exceptional dump truck driving.
It was awesome
Lookin good buddy! That grader attachment is super handy
Thanks buddy
Great seeing Aaron on the job.
The grader attachment looks like it would be a lot of fun to learn. A good truck driver can make your day! Great video thanks for sharing! 👍
Yes sir and not to bad
I loved watching the skid loader give the Volvo dumptruck a quick pull. Your videos have helped me pass some time during slow periods at work.
Thanks and glade you enjoy thanks for watching
That first stone drop was very satisfying, obviously not his first time. What a great piece of property. Nice job, Cheers!
Thanks and yes a awesome place for sure
Wow, that skid steer has a lot of power.
The drone footage was an extra nice touch....Man, what a nice place overlooking the river..the scenery in that area is amazing....and your work adds to it's value...thanks for posting
Thanks and thanks for watching
It was informative and funny at the same time...Made viewing a whole lot more enjoyable...Thanks for sharing.
The attachment looks like its alot better sense putting the wider wheels on the front its really handy when you need it. Keep up the great videos
It does help for sure
Awesome job guy's gotta love that grader thumbs up my friend
Yes and thanks
Amazed at how many people think that these videos are in real time. By the way did you see Wade just went down and got his trailers? Month ago you need to explain to us again why you hoard all those precious videos and not release them all to once. Enough slacking for me I have got to get back to my essential work. Thanks for sharing 👍🏻
gonna be a nice size building, nice work guys.
Thanks David
Good video again the man and that gravel truck sure did tailgate that rock good tell him one of your SUB said good job driving I like that grader to. On that bobcat but it takes a operator to I look forward for the other video always do be safe my friend keep the good work up
Thanks and will do
Nice work Mike!
Thanks
Excellent project! Enjoyed the Kubota yanking out the dump truck! OK, maybe I missed it, but why the larger rock in the center and the smaller rock on the one end? Is that just where the big trucks have to come in/out with the larger base layer? Thanks.
Small rock will be under the building
That lil grader attachment is slick! I'd never seen one of them before now.
Yes works awesome
Great video Mike 👍 y'all have a great one and stay safe 👍
Thanks buddy
Great Video. Thanks
Thanks
The grader works very well. The new tires on it work better too.
Yes they do
We all has been a novice. The grader attatcement is a superb tool. 👍
I missing the fabric in the road and some bigger rock on the road and under the building. Here in Norway, must we do that, pluss insulation under the buildingplatt. 🇧🇻
I love that Volvo man, rare chassis
My best friend locates in Idaho. I told him you can't locate in the winter. He said we do. I said how do you mark the snow. He said yes. I said well what happens when it melts or it snows more.He said they have to order another locate. So Aron painting over the dirt pile doesn't surprise me. You going to have to order another locate. Lol God bless
Lol
The hardest part for me is making anything level but you make it so easy! Great job guys!
Thanks buddy
🏴🇬🇧🏴 Guy, you make that look easy 🇬🇧🏴🇬🇧
Thanks
Looks great
Thanks
Awesome Job!!
Thanks
Great job
Thanks
Damn man that was nice work Mike. You sure made that builders job easy, and that is a beautiful location over the river.
Thanks buddy
another great vlog..
Thanks
Nice work.
Thanks
Look into an lr50 or lr60 laser receiver, it is designed specifically to be mounted on equipment. It gives you a plum indication as well as a level side to side indicator and my LR 50 has a remote that you mount in the cab with magnets so you don’t even have to actually see the receiver. It also has 360° eyes so you almost always get a reading
YOU will have a blast with that grader when you do get a laser setup on it. One thing we did before we got our grader and laser set up is to add a bracket either in the middle of the blade, or in the case of one of our dozers, on each end, so that we could bolt on a rod that we can attach the laser receiver to. That lets you until Aaron or Kleeman, whoever you have on the rod. I do use the receivers that came with the laser, although, I also have a large LR50 receiver that just makes everything bigger to see. The EDGE grader that I mentioned that we have now though has the auto controls and dual trackers and is SSSSOOOOO much faster than a person can react, its amazing..... Oh, and since we figured out that we had the expensive parts (laser and receiver), we even put a mast mount on the skid steer bucket, it helps!!!! Another little trick on them pads, went to rv supercenter and got a pair of the little bubble levels that stick on a camper trailer, less than 10 bucks! and level the machine and stick em on the ROPS or somewhere that you can see them, kinda helps you get close on pads! Sorry about getting so long winded. Stay safe, YOU GOT IT GOING ON! Keith
All good ideas thanks buddy
The grader is nice, but the 2 best investments are Aaron and Kleeman. LOL Lookin good Mike. Cheers, B safe.
Lol true
That Aaron certainly has some skills. For an all round skill base sort of a guy, he is a pretty damn good welder.
Looks good Mike. Now The drone footage was an extra touch great job m8
Thanks Paul
Case has the new 550 skid steer/dozer with all the grading also. Just need to get one so I can see how well it works. Good work on the pad man it looks amazing
They work good better then I thought it would
Dirt Perfect when will they hit the market you think
I’ve seen people weld flat plate or mounting surface to each end of the grader blade and attach the dozer receiver pole mounts(some have rubber bushings or other absorbing properties/ characteristics for your receivers so you don’t beat them to death ) for a laser level. It’s just money, to make dreams come true.
👍
Awesome 👌
Your grader attachment on the skid steer is handy save getting extra machine
Yup has worked out real well
Looking good.Nice job.👏🏻👏🏻👍🇨🇦🇺🇸
Thanks mike
I need that grader attachment. that is slick
Works great
Nice video! You should weld a c channel on the back of that grade blade so you can mount the lazer directly to the attachment
Thanks
Good job Rock Perfect. And come on guys , don't be so hard on second driver . Making mistakes is how you learn. At least he's out trying . Thanks Mikey and Mrs Perfect might have you basketball.
Exactly thanks Gary
Pretty Slick!
Thanks
Better go ahead and fill those tires with foam.
Nice work!
👍
Hi Mr dirt perfect. Awesome video no picking on you this time. But Jerry would have it done the right way thanks for sharing it
Nice job ! Pleasure to watch you and yer helpers work. Keep up tje nice videos. And Mrs Dirt Perfect has some good videos too. Did she used to run some equipment with you too ? Seen that on your house construction video. Ttyl
Thanks and very little she done listen well 😝
Mike it must be doable to get a laser receiver above the center of the blade and eyeball it from there. A proper set up would be very serious money. Chris Guins' buddy Charlie was paying the bank $10K a month for his big CAT grader and millimetre Trimble equipment. A magnetic laser receiver, on the other hand, can be got for
To make you happy with your weather,
I can tell you it is snowing here in the cold north.
We still have about 3 feet of snow.
Wow
@@DirtPerfect Hopefully spring comes in late April.
Well that answers the question I asked EE about tailgating in reverse.
😁
Looks good Mike. Now when you going to come and clear my property!!!!.
Lol thanks
Mike, I've been trying to overlook it, but I just can't live with it anymore. The yellow grader attachment clashes so bad with the Kubota & needs to be painted black.....lol! Great vijit....or what ever Wade calls it
Hey Mike I'm just curious why the builder didn't have you scrape the sod off for the building pad? Here on the other side of the country we always scrape all of the vegetation off and on building pads we almost always dig out all of the soil until we hit gravel and then backfill it with gravel to grade.
No top soil there
that is a nice dance of to machine
Thanks
Haaa the freshman 15!!
When u gonna come to eastern Kentucky and do some work? Pad looks good those grader blades make a world of difference
Need more time
How about making a mount for a short grade pole over each end of the blade so you can set the receiver close enough to see the lights and hear the beeps? You could weld up a plumb bob level for the blade, too, so you could grade level or a crown. You could make a similar mount on your bucket. Then, you'd only have the camera to talk to when you have to grade a pad. That would be a great rainy day shop video.
Possibly
Mike 🇺🇸 excellent as always. 🤷♂️ Hope you, Family and crew are holding up. Self quarantine 🦠..
Hanging in there 👍❤️✝️🛐🙏🇺🇸 oh
Excellent video 👌
Good drivers
Aron you should have said yeah it makes all the difference when you have a good operator. I'll let you know when I find one. Lol God bless
I mighta missed it. But why did you not strip topsoil and put fabric down? Epic footage by the way. Love it👌
No top soil and ground was compacted when pad was built and thanks
The grader attachment save a lot of raking
Yes it does
Why don’t you take the top soil off? Just curious as I’m planning on building a pole bard in 3 months.
Was none
Okay thanks for your response. Love your video. Learned a lot from you.
How do you know your holding the laser staff straight up and down?? Wouldn't that impact the level? Or is there an indicator on the laser receiver? Camera angle made it look like it was leaning...
Eye 👁
Mike you need to put a hitch on the back of the skid steer for the roller. Then you don't need to bring the tractor. Just a suggestion. God bless
Tears up to much when it turns
@@DirtPerfect true however would work great for long driveways.
You need to mount your laser sensor on a pogo stick and Aaron can hop along beside you to check the grade for you while you grade. That would make an exciting video I think. Lol
👍
3:50 ...no need to comment, good job Dirt!
😁
good video
Thanks
That's what we call a dumptruck cowboy
Actually you did you put 2 Poles on each end of your blade don't rising up and a patrol magnet deal that you usually usually use owner and you made it work
Hey now,
don't be "beatin" up on Aaron to much, remember his valuable skills with a cutting torch & welder...
Great video, thank you sir.
Lol 👍
At sometime can you show how you use the equipment to level a job site and how the white stick is used. Thank you.
Yes will do
Hey Mr "the man behind the scene" , tell Mr Perfect us left-handed guys are in our right mind, lol, nice job guys!!!
Those 40 foot lines were about as straight as the NASCAR road course at Charlotte. Lol.
😂😂
You could make a bracket of some sort on back side of blade to hold that grade stick.
Possibly
Question - Would a land leveler attachment have worked better than the grader? Or about the same?
No less control
Laser guided or gps auto controls would be nice, but a simple cheaper option would be to just mount your story pole on the blade. Weld a piece of square tube on top of the blade with a set screw and you're golden. Then all you have to do is keep a line of sight to your laser, which you already know.
Yup
That grader attachment is awesome haven't saw that before seems to do a great job , love the banter between you and man behind the scenes , did I understand you to say he had a program ? If so would you give me the link kinna like to check it out ty , have an awesome day and keep them coming
Yes works well
Hey Mike mount the laser stick to grader attachment
👍
Not a fan of skid steers but that grader attachment is great.
Same here
Mike it looked like the left tire on the grader was little low.
This was over a year ago but thanks
At home try attaching your guide stick to your blade and see if you can get it to work right. Yes it's not automatic you still have to control it but you won't need the guy on the ground. Good luck
I have works ok
I'd be tempted to bolt a length of stadia rod on each end of the grader blade and attach laser receivers. You'll still have to operate the controls but you could laser level on the fly.👷♂️
No need when you have Aaron
Did you test drive the new Case dozer/skid machine the was just introduced ?
No but would like to
In that builders future I have a vision of a cement truck buried axle to frame deep.
Floor is poured and your wrong 🤷♂️
Different environments. Different soils. I'm from New England and building here is so different than building in Florida.
Do those trucks drive all the way down from Avon (daily) or they local guys
No local guys
Could you not mount a small adjustable bracket on the top of the blade and mount the laser after setting the blade to the correct height?
(Choose whatever side of the blade you prefer to work off).
That way your Oppo could just walk alongside out of the way of the machine and listen for the correct beeps?
Failing that buy a receiver with a visual cut/fill on it.
Yup
That beautiful home needs a concrete main driveway, the drive to the house ! Don't you think DP ? Also, never seen that style of grade checking behind the blade !
You could put a poll on each side of the blade and put one of them level deals on it that way you can use the laser Steel just keep it where you can see device easy from inside cab
Yes but it’s not that simple
But sometimes it do a little experiment put the receiver where you can see it from the cab then build your own device from one side over to it then do it to the other side are can you run two receivers at the same time
"GRADER MOD" Mount a for 4 level on top ove the blade and attach receiver from laser on one end of the blade. Should work well for a level pad and use one less person.
👍
I've got the Bobcat version of the grader for my (case) skid steer. As mentioned, you can bolt a pole to one side of the blade (mine came with that). A laser on one side is very effective. Follow the last pass with the trailing side, and follow the laser for the leading side. I love my grader attachment too!🙂
Better use a larger recept like those, and Can be use for a lot of other jobs ruclips.net/video/sklWQQGnC4o/видео.html
Mike
Have you tried to use your laser attachment that you got for your excavator
Stay tuned
How to modify your grader blade to make it laser semi controlled.
Do what I did with the D3 blade, for the grader blade on the end of each end so it does not interfere with sliding, weld on a platform bracket that a steel tube that fits the laser receiver can be temp. mounted, mine is bolted on, the tube is welded to a steel plate with angle brackets to keep tube straight over time, this plate is bolted to the bracket welded to blade. washers can be used if need to angle one way or another, I used four bolts.
On the back side of the grader blade the skid steer side, weld on each end a bracket I use steel angle that a Rieker Inc. half circle level can be bolted to ( so when Kleeman does some thing to the Rieker level it can be E-Z to replaced. ) Sorry Kleeman the devil made me do it. :) You get picked on too much.
Model of Rieker; NCR-19-3-002 Inclinometer +/_ 10 degrees, Scale 1 degree, Black; it is build to meet military specifications that's why I chose a Rieker.
Then you have a blade that one man can control elevation with laser receiver on steel tube and level to ground with the two Rieker levels.
When the blade is angled it is had to see only one Rieker level if it is away from the operator that's the reason for two.
If yo need a photo I can email it.
Works great.
Why didn't you take the grass and topsoil off before spreading the stone?
We did the year before
I sense you where biting your tongue when that second truck backed clean off the rock and got stuck 😂
😆
You can always figure out where to widen a drive by driving the construction trucks on it.
Lol yup
You said you needed a laser attachment for the grader. . . Why didn't you vise grip the stick to the back of the grader blade? You could have eliminated Aron with a clamp. Just like my dad did to me. Replaced me with a nail when running string lines.
You probably know this. If you can't run an X to check square vs parallelogram, you can always rely upon 3, 4, 5 for 90. 3 one side, 4 another side, 5 across the diagonal (hypotenuse). OR some multiple there of. 15, 20, 25 (x5). is handy if you only have a 25 ft tape. With that technique and a string dad would lay out the walls for a building.
Check out some later videos thanks
