As a Reminder if you don't get to the part of the video where I say it. Since I could never determine what the War Thunder Sales will look like. These are still my top 10 picks in the game (Not in any particular order).

I wanted to grind american air with the f5c. But with this sale there is no motivation. Instead of getting money gaijin loses a player in me
it's great sale for me wanted Somua and got Somua.

this sale was always more about lower rank packs. Top tier packs are always on sale during November and December. Some high rank packs will go on sale in June for Summer sale..

I was really hoping the kvt would be on sale I just unlocked the regular m1 in the tech tree and wanted a premium to go along with it since it’s really my only vehicle and have two would be better than just going into battle with one tank

If you eant to grind the entire tech tree, get the highest rank mbt or fighter. If you want fun ge the starter pack for france
French starter pack is only the B1 ter and the P40 B1 ter just gets memed on now since its 2.7
I was planning on the M1 Click bait and the T72 Turms but instead the only thing that fits what I’m grinding is the rooikat. It’s fine…. I guess. Hope they shift pack sales halfway thru and go from rank 6 to rank 7
I was hoping to get the cv 90105 but gaijin has crushed my dreams. Either way I’m gonna buy the souma sm and maybe the is 6 and t29, even though I have both those tech trees grinded out.
my experience with wyvern: it cannot turn. hence, I don't use it for air rb (some bombers do turn better than a wyvern at that be). as for cas... well, if you see the enemy planes first and get close to them without them noticing good for you. However, any enemy pilot with half a brain will always get on your 6 with ease and shred you to pieces. ever since I got strikemaster, I do not use wyvern at high br matches and for lower br matches I use premium spitfires

I love the T29 in combination with M46 Tiger and A2D-1 its so awesome.
T29 is for me still on of the Best Tanks for SL grind or for the Tech Tree.
The Downside how u sayed it IS-3 & IS-4 got played more and more, only these 2 are a Nighmare the Rest of Heavy Tanks are (for me) easy too kill if u know how.
Leopard also what china calls: "Oh shii"
T29 would honestly be a good vehicle at 10.0 I keep using my a10 to bring it to 10.0 and I average over 1kd at that br with it
The T29 is the meta of 7.0
I don’t get people who hate it
The pack sales suck, however if i were to pick something up, what are the recommendations? Im torn between vidar, turm3, t 29 and is 6 and even the israeli spifire
Turm3 is solid just for me though it gets beat out by the tam2IP for research purposes. Israeli spitfire is pretty great for CAS t29 and is6 both are good just need down tiers. Vidar is really only good on larger maps where the thermals and LRF can be used effectively.
The tam 2ip is a great vehicle, I would definitely consider it. It has a round that will kill any vehicle frontally, and the engine eats so many shots. The turm 3 is also good because of the auto cannon and decent apds or heatfs, but much less survivable. It depends on your play style, but you can’t go wrong with either of them.
Most of my battles with the T29 have been downtiers. I rarely saw anything from 7.0+. The only tanks I would struggle to kill are the IS-3 and IS-4M. The Maus is actually pretty easy to kill with the T29 provided you are within 500m. The turret cheeks and lower hull sides can be easily penned by the 105mm gun the T29 has. If you get a full downtier to 6.0 you will have one hell of a fun time.

for those who crying and talkin shii about gaijin..last year they gave big packs like turms leo2a4 50% off in may sales and small packs like somua t29 in summer sales..so dont cry bigger packs will be on sale in summer sales

I hope they'll be reintroduced as GE premiums. Not all pack vehicles have received that treatment sadly...
@svper43 the only problem is once they are put back in as GE premiums most of them are more expensive than they where a packs.
Just going to say the Wyvern....in AirRB....I unlocked everything all the way down to and including The Buccy....Wyvern is a strike aircraft....it starts in the air in AirRB... Hit the deck....fly low....boom bases.....rinse and repeat....it is literally labelled MONEY MAKER in my British tech tree....it has made me the most amount of SL and RP even more than my Premium ships like Kerch and Moffett which are amazing in Naval (play Arcade...not RB....too sweaty for my taste in NAVAL)
would you recommen the k9 vidar?
It can be decent but its not the greatest tank on small to medium maps where you can't really use the laser range finder and thermals effectively. Its 100% a overhyped vehicle because when people are killed with it, it is annoying because its half way across the map camping.
The maus dies to 250lb bombs that aren't even on it. The bomb resistance sucks

The video is about the top packs I would recommend. Since I can't really see what the sales will be I decided to make the videos in this way because if I wait till the day of the sales there is no way I could get the gameplay in time and the video out before the sales almost end unless I went completely no life.
The idea is even if a vehicle is not on sale now it might be in the future sales.

The Rooikat just loses out on grinding rank 8 which is only 4 vehicles. Its a ok vehicle though its only problem is its one of the lease maneuvering wheeled vehicle since only the front 2 wheels turn. Does pretty poor trying to get around in tight city maps.

Yea its a bit sad but thinking about what could be in the next update while I don't agree I understand why they did not include most of the jet premiums.
What about the Vidar ?
Its a vehicle that is only good when you have a large enough area for the thermals LSF to work if its a smaller map you would be better off with anything else.

has 2 decent missiles most of the ones I see playing it try to base bomb.

Its decent. The only issue it is 9.7 so it will see more up tiers than downtiers. When I played the Romor it was alright. Really the only downsides to the Centauros now days is the amount of auto cannons running about the place.

Yea that is the point to a video like this. I could wait till the sales release and pretty much no life playing the vehicles for like 1-2 days get enough gameplay and then make a proper video.
I would like feedback on it though cause I like being able to recommend vehicles no matter what gaijin puts on sale. Then maybe people can pick them up in a different sale, but I also understand it can be confusing to people who want to see vehicles directly from this sale. Then also I don't like OBS screen captures of the War thunder store talking about vehicles without gameplay because you don't know how vehicles play with new BR changes etc. You really need that to properly recommend something.

This is the worst pack sale I’ve seen? I went ahead and bought the Merkava, can recommend it. Decent survivability.
disagree with the conclusion for the somua SM, looking at your gameplay i think you just need more practice with the tank itself, when played correctly it's arguably the best premium tank in the game and a lot of your struggles with the AP were aiming issues aside from maybe the IS3 where you couldn't really pen it anywhere but the already dead driver.

Fair enough but it still reminds the same up tier = bad for any of the 7.7 vehicles in War thunder right now there is way to much of a technology gap between those BRs.
@@DawgIVLife yeah, it can be a bit painful but I think the somua deals with it better than something like the IS6 due to the fast reload so you can do cannon barrel track torture better
