I finally bought my watch with a Seagull movement, not a 1963, not a Sugess or a Pierre Paulin, I have for a few days an ... Alpha "Speedmaster", "Ultraman" version, with the ST1903 mvt !!! Such an incredible watch for $180 (165€ with all fees)..... that I have already ordered an Alpha Daytona (Rolex 6263 Paul Newman inverted panda homage)!!😉😎
Nice review. Looks like a nice watch at a really affordable price. As for straps, I think there are a lot of good options. I like the vintage style strap, but I'm not a fan of the color of the OEM strap. I'd probably switch it out to a black vintage, but the choices are pretty wide - black, dark brown, even really colorful, either leather or suede. A plain black calf or buffalo strap would be a good all around choice. Another option is to dress it up in an alligator or alligator pattern strap or teju lizard.
I bought one recently and really disappointed after receiving it. Didn't receive the grey suede strap but a hard brown strap. But also no display back for some reason and just a merkur solid caseback. I bought the watch because I wanted to see the movement, sigh... Just want the grey strap and display back!
Yeah. These guys have a couple cool watches.... The reverse panda is one I was eyeing too! Chronographs often look good sized a bit smaller. I'm not crazy about the strap.
Of the watches with this movement I think this speaks to me the most, I agree it should have a sapphire option, I think if it did I'd probably pull the trigger and buy one, cheers

I'm looking at getting something similar but the Sugess version of this watch which are all the same! So overall were you happy with it and did it feel reasonably made? I hate cheap-feeling watches due to poor materials. Cheers mate
It's great that the Communist regimes gave these old chronos an extended lifespan. I have a Russian Poljot 31681 which is a modified cam operated Valjoux 7734. Sadly Poljot no longer exist so it's left to the Chinese to produce affordable mechanical chronos.
