Love your content which the old algorithm led me to this year. Happy Xmas and all that jazz, am looking forward to more content in 2025. Portsmouth, UK.🌅
Happy Holidays! In the new year, I have resolved to reduce my RUclips watch subscriptions. However, I’ll be staying with yours! Great work this year and all the best to a new year!
Enjoyable and informative video. Re: GMT category, if you wanted to nominate a Timex, I'd have gone with the auto expedition GMT or the Timex James Brand (true) GMT.
Have a good Christmas and the future year . I’m happy to report I have a number of your recommendations in my collection and none from the awful category. Wearing the Turbine Pilot as I tap this message out .
A quick note about the Addiesdive Tuna! I have one in Blue. The lume lasts all night for me! 6+ hours. Maybe there is some ambient light getting in but I am blown away by the length of time the lume lasts! Also is it possible to get a 'nod' towards your ebay ? Thanks for all the reviews!
I have a suggestion for a future category: “Non - NH movement.“ NH 34 and 35 and 36 movements have been a boon for the affordable watch industry, but they are so common, and so marginally accurate or inaccurate that at least for me there is fatigue about those movements. Accuracy is a key component for me, and I understand that that is a Japanese mindset as well. I agree with that mindset. Solar power has been so perfected along with quartz movements, where accuracy is superb for often less money that in my mind, they are preferential. I also love the citizens Miyota movements. They are largely dependable and accurate. Some people claim that they can hear the winding of the movement. I have pretty good hearing and I can’t hear that. And if I did, it would not bother me. It would be the sound of a watch, winding or winding itself. If a watch, winding sound annoys you, then you’re in the wrong hobby. Anyway, mom suggested categories, would be somewhere along the lines of accuracy, none, NHA movements, solar, readable, date, windows, and the cherry on top would be readable date windows along with readable day windows.
A very Happy Christmas and happy new year. The biggest surprise was a Quanqin sub with the flume/linen dial in Green I picked up for £34. Solid piece, all the usual specs and flawless. Running at 1 sec/ day with a Seiko NH. I have the Seestern diver as well in blue, stunning watch.
Many thanks . Just subscribed to your chanel. Wish to have your professional revews of the Italian Venezianico. Great booming micro brand . Merry Christmas and happy new year
8:25 Sorry but it's clearly a homage of the Swatch Irony Scuba from the late 90s/early 00's. I don't mind the fact they copied it, just don't lie about it being original work. 🤷♂️
Best homage is wrong choice imo..i own it and just like the one featured here,the logo is off center n also slightly lopsided😒 To notice one only has to drive a line straight down from the bottom tip of the 12 marker. Once seen,u cant unsee it n frankly it sucks,being such a prominent feature.
Many thanks for your content! I find your reviews both informative and entertaining. I'm also inspired by the watch selection that you review. Please keep up the fantastic work! In return, I've subscribed to your great channel, and always smash the like on your videos. Merry Christmas and all the very best for the new year!
I'm not sure if Pagani GMT deserves to be on the worst list. $150 total with vat is not that bad for NH34. And it looks nice and fresh compared to overused pepsi and polar explorer. Not many choices if you want a gmt without cyclops. My worst 2024 purchase was Cronos BB58. Total disaster. Broken clasp pin, very bad out of the box regulation, very misaligned bezel that moves so stiff you almost need pliers to use it, very poor lume and so thin and uneven you see dark spots even without glow. I read many good opinions and now won't even consider another one from them.
@Sicarius888 Once PD GMT dropped under $130sh sales really picked up, which makes sense - it is a good watch after all. At $200 though it is not so great :-) Sorry to hear about your cronos experience, the reviews I've seen seem to be good. I think I need to get one for review at some point.
@@ShinyThings The worst was dealing with the store and ali customer support. Unhelpful stonewalling and running around in circles pretending they don't understand the issue or that everything is fine, demanding more and more photos and claiming they aren't good enough to show the problems. I eventually got a tiny partial refund and people told me these days getting anything is a big win. Maybe they aren't all bad, but I'm not trying again after this disaster. Next good sale I think I will try with San Martin. Should have picked it instead back then, but the allure of PT5000 vs NH35 was too strong.
someone should take the lead and Make them start producing original designs they already have a good fan base and regular buyers I don’t see the need for more homage watches
This gotta be rage bait..... It's not even that close, the San Martin dial is infinitely closer to Chinese jianzhan pottery. You're just trying to find things to hate.
Thank you Mr San Martin.
I am SOOOOO happy my HRUODLAND F016 Custom Turbine made the list! I absolutely love this watch! Still the favourite in my collection.

Perhaps San Martin should have its own category. Great work on your videos!
@bobsumm1 Lol
For me hruodland is also a Winner 😊
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year , Igor . Let's expect more great vidoes in 2025 , Cheers !!
@militadowatch Same to you!
Surprised no Erebus even in the top four somewhere.
What about the Watch of The Year??

Thanks for deleting my second critical post 😂😂. You are one funny guy.

Shame about your Cronos experience the one i got had none of these issues.
I bought it for 90 dollars. It is definitely one of my better purchases.
San Martin blue dial is not "inspired by Chinese porcelain"... Is blatant copy of Straum Jan Mayen 😂 as usual from San Martin, zero design IP
someone should take the lead and Make them start producing original designs they already have a good fan base and regular buyers I don’t see the need for more homage watches

Nope.
