    Thanks for the gun setup tip. I have seen others try to explain this and it was not as simple and straightforward as your technique. I tried it this morning. It works well. Your gun setup is by far the easiest and best method.

    Good afternoon Gabe, that turned out real nice. I have finally gotten a pretty good source and supply of microfiber towels. I use them once in the spray booth and then they go out in the shop to be used for shop rags. I will have to try one of those basecoat guns that you suggested. I have just learned of the spray source for these guns. Thanks for another great video. You take care.

    My two favorite painters in one video! Awesome. Btw, is there an aerosol can version of spray mask available anywhere? Would be really handy for those of us who occasionally paint in our garage.

    Ok question about gun set up , your fluid is set to full out for the most part , when you spray do you squeeze full trigger and just move faster to compensate the amount of clear coming out or do you partial squeeze to a certain point from experience. Most who try this will run that clear off the panel with full fluid flow and squeezing full trigger . On my gun I set up to 3 turns out from all the way in and full squeeze-stops at the same place every time , now I’m learning so I’m just asking as a novice painter

    • @MOTIVATEDPAINTERS
      @MOTIVATEDPAINTERS  6 лет назад

      Yeah I full trigger which is why I always mention look at what the gun is doing and adjust accordingly move closer, furthers, faster slower you know

    • @MrFireman164
      @MrFireman164 6 лет назад +1

      MOTIVATED PAINTERS so for a production painter moving faster is more efficient and time is money , I may try the full open and adjust my speed and distance . My arm get tired moving so slow sometimes when spraying a lot

    Hello. Question about the tacking what about sand pile in between coats what would you do then? how long would you use the same Micro fiber towel? Machine wash and used again?

    • @MOTIVATEDPAINTERS
      @MOTIVATEDPAINTERS  6 лет назад +1

      Yes you can use it for up to a week if your jobs are clean when you out the in the booth direction of paint gun will almost eliminate most sand pile

    Hi Gabe. Love your videos 👍. What is the advantage of trizact 1000 over the traditional 1000 discs and interface pad? I didn't even know they made such a thing. Thanks

    • @MOTIVATEDPAINTERS
      @MOTIVATEDPAINTERS  6 лет назад

      It's softer so you can't mistakenly scretch with edges but the traditional ones sand better

    What do you feel the advantage of not tacing versus us a MF towel is? Doesnt leave any residue from the tac cloth?

    • @MOTIVATEDPAINTERS
      @MOTIVATEDPAINTERS  6 лет назад

      Could be that and also you don't create more static from rubbing the car and also distorting the mettalics

    • @wesleysimm5419
      @wesleysimm5419 6 лет назад +1

      Hi Gabriel on bigger jobs would you not tack off in between coats for like sand piling or would you do nothing now and just blow off with the stat gun?
      Cheers Wes

      Lol.....you have to tell people that you use spray mask a lot on here Gabe. I would think that common sense would come in to play at some point. And people would have to realize you’re not gonna just mask part of the vehicle. I mean, you are, in my opinion, one of the top painters in our industry.
