Hi steve , thanks for the feedback , i have owned a touareg for the past 5 years and have been very happy with it , beside a few waranty issues the car is just so sure footed to drive , i live in a country that seems to keep flooding at the moment and having a 4x4 is a asset at the moment...and yes i would own another touareg again..
i love your reviews its like professional photography with some slight comedy but more comedy in others and it leaves you very interested in the car...
@ymyone - It's a nicely engineered SUV that truely is solid and sophisticated. The opening scene was designed to be slightly "low key"... so maybe that's why you got that impression. They did a nice job on the 2011. Just check out that moonroof... Sweeeeeet! Thanks for the feedback. It's always appreciated..:) Steve
The Audi LEDs finally made it to the appearance in production. Looks great. And quite fine of a review. The production quality is amazing, and such coverage of the vehicle's aspects.
@Artyfil It's a cornering light system, very common in european cars. When you enter a corner the foglight on the side you're cornering in enlights the path for better visibility.
@Artyfil Wrong. VW's have a cool technology where either of the foglights light up when the steering wheel is turned most of the way in either direction for more visibility at night at low speeds. Kinda like steering linked headlights. Just so ya know.
@USA4July1776 - Hmmmmm.... Are you sure...???!!! What if I'm a plumber just out for a spin when cameras happen to be positioned in the vehicle I find myself driving in..:) Coincidence... or maybe something more..?!?! Thanks for watching anyway..! Steve
Totally agree, I think VW kind of shot Porsche in the foot, obviously the Cayenne has to be seen as the better vehicle in order to account for the price tag but VW set the benchmark so high that I can't see why anyone would choose the Porsche over the Touareg except for the badge
@MrTshum - Jeremy who..??? Guess I'll have to Google him..:) Thanks for watching our video though... It's good to get feedback from our viewers...even though sometimes they come off as a bit annoying, cheesy and even slightly sleazy... But enough with my "dramatics"..:) To each his own. Drive Safely - Steve
@hero3616 LOL good point! I've noticed that and wondered why I see so many VW cars with broken lights/lamps daily??? Does it happen because they use poor quality parts or because they are built/assembled by people with poor work ethics??? What's making their cars so unreliable???
Sorry to hear you think I'm a "terrible host". Everyone is certainly entitled to their own opinion though. But I'm not quite sure how to respond to your "freek show" comment... I suppose that's because Freak is misspelled and I've never been to a show of that nature before so I don't know how to compare the two??!! None the less, I appreciate you taking the time to watch our video and comment on it. Take Care..:) Steve
Porsche owns them all to be precise. ;) (Audi, VW, Seat, Bugatti, Lamborghini...) It is called the VAG group -> Volkswagen a.g. (VW joint stock company)
@Dumblikeyoutu hahaha OMG...the one on the "right" came on because he steered right! if you steere left left one turns on! when you turn on fog lights they both light up! honestly dont comment something you dont know
What is it about your car reviews?.. Even with the cars I probably wouldn't have considered before, after watching a lot of your reviews I get sucked in and end up wanting to buy the damn thing. lol!
Really? Looks like a jetta wagon inbred with the tiguan. Nice navi, but besides the LEDs, I prefer the previous version side panels. Front grille looks cheap with nice LEDs..can't say this one is a hit.
If you want to be a comedian, then write some jokes and step on stage. If you want to review cars- then just review cars, and don't try to show us how funny you think you are.

you guys make really great car reviews!
Love these reviews!!!!

its good to see a VW that is actually going forwards, not backwards in sofistication

oh Steve...love your reviews :)
another great review
@Artyfil It's a cornering light system, very common in european cars. When you enter a corner the foglight on the side you're cornering in enlights the path for better visibility.
@dCydia all high-end SUV's have this, it's called a turning light, it comes on when the steering is at a certain angle.
All VWz have started looking soo soo similiar. I just bought a new passat 2.0 TDI highline and the headlamps, tail lamps etc look a lot similiar.
this man should do a Cialis commercial.
@Artyfil Wrong. VW's have a cool technology where either of the foglights light up when the steering wheel is turned most of the way in either direction for more visibility at night at low speeds. Kinda like steering linked headlights. Just so ya know.
Thumbs up!! if this guy should be in Top Gear US!!!
man the nav screen is huge, but nothing wrong with that
@kilpikon3 I meant the TSI engine. And the diesel isn't offered in the U.S.; only the TDI V6.
@Buttnut105
They do. 335hp and 590 lb ft. Diesel, but a magnificent one at that, drove one myself.
@acurazdx4
that's cool, i had no idea
Without Porsche suspension too. Don't forget that. Don't forget more expensive interior of the Cayenne either. And it's not half the price.
Thanks so much! We hope you subscribe and tell your friends..:) Steve
Got some great editors on these vids

what kind of camera do you use?
Totally agree, I think VW kind of shot Porsche in the foot, obviously the Cayenne has to be seen as the better vehicle in order to account for the price tag but VW set the benchmark so high that I can't see why anyone would choose the Porsche over the Touareg except for the badge
jonny2k100 you get a lot more for the money
So why isnt Porshe on the VAG website?
the 2010-present Volkswagen Touareg is assemled in
Bratislava, Slovakia
How much does it cost
This guy is weird but i like his reviews lol!!

what do you need 280 hp in the US!
Virtually identical to a Cayenne Diesel but without the Porsche badge and about half of the cost.
steve , you did not sound very excited about the touareg???

Broken foglights standard. Only one works at a time (check 2:00) to conserve energy :) Just like my 2006 3.6 Passat with Lux package.
10 years late but they are cornering fog lights :)
The TDI is a great car.
1:59 fog light is out.
@Winny732 what?
ohhh guys those cornering lamps make me mad.... can you choose not to have them on ?
If only they made a 4.2 V8 option. 372 hp and 328 ft lb's of torque like the A8 and good fuel economy, 18 city and 28 highway.
Porsche owns them all to be precise. ;) (Audi, VW, Seat, Bugatti, Lamborghini...) It is called the VAG group -> Volkswagen a.g. (VW joint stock company)
VW's rule.
Nav looks great. This is almost the same as Audi and Porsche
@Dumblikeyoutu hahaha OMG...the one on the "right" came on because he steered right! if you steere left left one turns on! when you turn on fog lights they both light up! honestly dont comment something you dont know
Yeah, my mistake... Finally we got it right.
1:58 foglight's out
Sham that most SUVs don't offer diesel engines...
back looks like an old model cayenne
What is it about your car reviews?.. Even with the cars I probably wouldn't have considered before, after watching a lot of your reviews I get sucked in and end up wanting to buy the damn thing. lol!
the diesel is so cool
It has no mechanics problems compared to petrol engine?
TOUR-EGG. LMFAO.
77,579 views .. they made 77.57 dollars of that video ...
RUclips is a SWEATSHOP
Nice car but I prefer an SUV with a little more rugged exterior.
@hero3616
You are kidding, right? :)
one light bulb is burned out :)
Nice car but not worth the 60,000 dollar price tag when loaded with the TDI Diesel!
is that not the sexiest SUV youve ever seen or what?
Engine sounds like a dryer with coins in it
Dude bro.. very weird music.. this is a car review not a haunted house... ok dude bro?
Someone has been watching a little too much Top Gear... Not that there is anything wrong with that...
Really? Looks like a jetta wagon inbred with the tiguan. Nice navi, but besides the LEDs, I prefer the previous version side panels. Front grille looks cheap with nice LEDs..can't say this one is a hit.
They own Audi but not Porshe.
Well maybe because VW owns Audi and Porsche ?
Intelligent cruise? I wish! I do not believe this is offered in the Touareg.
volkswagen allways make no nonsense vehicle,
at 1:58 the left fog light is off! LOL unreliable!
dudes like 2¨2 haha
Haha your words speak loudly about yourself.
Seriously now, why don't you give a more objective review and fill us in on the down side of vehicles?
It really has a noisy engine!
Stopped it halfway through. The whole video is too weird to watch with that stupid music. Worst review I've ever not - seen.
Geez, it takes you forever to say anything.
