Got a few things to fix, sharpen and transform. Some of my bungee cords with hook ends need the cord replaced. Axe, machete and two filleting knives need honing. Fun stuff. Oh, better check my medium Alice pack.

Good advice. Couple years ago the doctor said I have congestive heart failure. And I tell you this heat is no joke. Walking to the mailbox takes everything I got. It's honestly a bit of a depressing situation. Some days I'm okay some days not. But when its hot there are no good days. Any information is welcomed. Thanks for the motivation to keep on keeping on.

Stay cool, Blackie. I don't do well in heat either. I picked the wrong week to go camping (last week) It was like the waiting room to hell out there. But at least I had lots of shade. Spent most of the day in my screen tent with 2 battery fans blowing on me. Was able to enjoy campfires at night. Up here in Michigan, it's not usually that hot this early in the year. 🥵

We get cabin fever down here in the summer. Last summer was the hottest here in Florida on record and my last year working as a Trim Carpenter after 40 years of melting every summer.

Dyneema is the best lightweight cord that I know of too. It's actually overkill for most uses. I used mule tape on my hammock. It's strong, but slippery. 1000 pound test,. Probably not as good as Blacky's straps though.

Great video. For me living in Idaho the winter is when I do all of my pm. That is also when I make my paper cartridge for my BP revolvers.

Dutch Wear has the Spider Web 1.5 webbing. It is the newest and lightest hammock suspension webbing on the market. It has a 1000-pound breaking strength and weighs just 1.5 grams per foot. Half the weight of those ultra light poly huggers. $21-$51 depending if you get any titanium hardware. Both straps fit in an Altoids tin with titanium Dutch clips.
