Gary being Chucky’s first victim this season is very clever to start the season off with a bang. Immediately we are drawn in seeing how close a bond has been formed between the two. Their dynamic differed from Andy and Kyle’s since Andy as the younger sibling had already encountered Chucky. I feel that Chucky’s goal this season will be to go after all his survivors. Recalling back to Curse of Chucky when Chucky is confronted by his completion anxiety by Nica. With the possibility of multiple Chuckys and being able to travel easier via Uber, may we see Chucky going after Mike Norris, Karen Barclay, Kristin De Silva, Tyler, and The Kincaids?
It's a very small detail, but I found it endearing that despite not knowing who Tiffany is, the one Chucky in the truck mentioned how attractive she was. I feel like a lot of people forget that with the whole "immortal killers" thing, Don has said that Chucky (at least before they started butchering each other) did love Tiffany when they were alive. It felt kind of sweet (y'know, if you ignore that they're terrible to each other now)
The entire opening house sequence with Chucky calling Jake had me on the edge of my seat. I definitely feel we’re going to get different “versions” of Chucky through out the season. Whether one being more comical, one more violent or even one just plain out scary. I can’t WAIT to watch more!

The therapist was the same therapist that Jake's aunt Bree was seeing in season 1 before Chucky murdered her. The therapist's name, Dr. Mixter, is a reference to the original Halloween II, where Dr. Frederick Mixter was the chief of staff at Haddonfield Memorial Hospital before Michale Myers murdered him.

In Seed of Chucky, "Chucky goes psyco" was a sequel. The reporter in that scene said so, so Bride of Chucky could have been the first movie since they were talking about finding them together
Chucky Season 2 scene: Devon: "Well, she looks a little like the bride of Chucky. Remember that movie? Jake: "Yeah, with Jennifer Tilly. Who we know really is the bride of Chucky, Tiffany Valentine." Seed of Chucky scene with reporter after malfunction ruins scene: "We're here in Hollywood where production is underway on the new horror flick 'Chucky Goes Psycho.' The film tells the urban legend of Chucky and Tiffany, two dolls supposedly possessed by serial killers. The dolls were found at the scene of real-life murders that remain unsolved to this day." After that part comes the scene where Jennifer Tilly is literally dressed like a bride with Chucky in her lap talking about not getting Erin Brockovich. Given that so much time is unaccounted for between movies, with Jennifer Tilly (as a character) not being referenced in terms of her career again, who's to say they didn't finish the movie? And even if they didn't, it seems entirely plausible that the plot about Tiffany being the bride (hence Tilly in the movie-in-the-movie being dressed as a bride) would have been available knowledge. It seems like a poor wording choice. Or a deliberate choice with a double meaning. "Remember that movie" after saying "she looks like the bride of Chucky" can lead one to believe the movie is called that, but we only think that because we know about the actual movie called "Bride of Chucky.: In universe, it the movie could still be called "Chucky Goes Psycho" and they understand that Tiffany was Chucky's bride in it. In their world, the line in the exchange would come off as, "Well, she looks a little like the bride of Chucky. Remember "Chucky Goes Psycho?" "Yeah, with Jennifer Tilly..." So the way it's written could be meant as a other little meta treat for the fans where they didn't anticipate the confusion they might cause. Or at worst, Mancini could seemly have just retconned it, though even that wouldn't be needed. He could easily explain it away with something as simple as that Tiffany (having possessed Jennifer Tilly) finished the movie and due to her ego had the title changed to Bride of Chucky since Tiffany loved Bride of Frankenstein and is every bit the narcissist Chucky is. And it NEVER mentions that any other movies that exist in our world exist in the show.
@@Lusciouslysorry if Don was going to retcon any of the movies, it should have been Seed and not Bride. I think it would honestly be pretty cool to see her still involved in getting Chucky back for ruining their (her and Andy’s) life.
Only complaint I have is the doll looks a little downgraded this season, the look he had in season one looked more polished and realistic. There was some good shots of him but it looks like they went more cgi with him, like the Chuckys on the truck with Andy. But I agree they should have more menacing shots of chucky. In the trailers there seem to be some but not as much as you'd like. Oh well it still was a great episode one. Interested how this whole saga is going to end up, like is there a bigger plan by chucky even than the truck one.
I agree! It actually took me out of the show a bit because the faces looked off - too narrow, the lighting wasn't great either. I'd much prefer they go practical for close ups.
i want more Chucky & Tiffany interactions... both in doll form obvi.... i love them together cursing & fighting, cracks me tf up. also love when they kill together too. Im also excited for this entire nunery setting.
I think it gives chucky a new level of power when he’s able to move at any time of the day. It broadens the hold he has on the world as a doll. Lol chucky the almighty
I'm glad they made chucky the way he is in this, I think it's allowed a wider audience, especially those who are not particularly keen on horror, like myself.
I think the therapist is Andy's mom and at some point came across Tiffany. To add on to this theory Tiffany might have "helped" Andy's mom and made her a "therapist" to send kids to a place that she probably doesn't know the whole story about.
One possible twist I think for the therapist is that she could be Tiffany’s mom. Through out the series she says things like “my mom always said/told me etc.” and it’s usually good advice so would make sense and be a decent twist
@@simplyjuannie5128 I remembered this wrong tbh, I had a memory of him saying he killed her sister but he actually said he killed her mother. Could easily be her sister though if they wanted to
I feel like the Batman and robin part was foreshadowing to the kids Gary death. I’m talking about the death of Jason Todd robin. Both him and Gary (who even dressed up as robin) were killed by bombs made by psychotic people. Joker and Chucky.
since Andy's body wasn't found maybe he and kyle will return in a later episode maybe they'll meet glen and glenda, i was surprised there weren't any flashbacks like in season 1
The fact that a reference from The Strangers came up made me so happy! I feel like that film series doesn’t get a lot of love. Also I quite literally gasped out loud when Gary died. First of all because Chucky scared the shit out of me, and second of all because that was so unexpected. That I can recall, he’s never killed someone that going on screen before. This season’s gonna be a super bumpy ride!!
I find the scene of Lexy in the bathroom looking for pills extremely similar, even in the outfit, to the Rob Zombie`s Halloween 2 scene of Laurie waking up from a nightmare.
This was an amazing episode to start the season and kick off this amazing show again for the Halloween season! This gonna be so good we'll "Party like it's 1999" as Chyky would put it.
I’m glad you mentioned the lighting and the portrayal of Chucky during the scene where he is with the children. I definitely felt the same. I also felt that this is probably the worst the Chucky doll has looked aesthetically. It is such a departure from the movies (and of course TV has a different budget than a movie does) but even from season 1 it just looks too uncanny and doesn’t seem to fit what Chucky has looked like at all. The animatronic looks more fluid than ever so I have no idea if his look has been stretched in a way to accommodate but it is jarring to say the least.
Love the Batman back references Bats is my favorite comic. Never drew the loss in the family arc to this episode but maybe the lil sister will have some sort of accident and become paralyzed like Nika and Batgirl. The way she answered the door reminded me a lot of Killing Joke. Love your content and background is epic!!!!
Lexy, Jake and Devon know that Junior didn't kill everyone (Just his dad, but Chucky manipulated him.) Lexy had to pretend that it was Junior, cause then who else did it other than Chucky? Then she'd be seen as crazy. So yeah, its only to stay on the good side of people.
One thing I caught was when Michelle said during the interview "I wish that intruder was alone with me in the house." If that wasn't foreshadowing, I don't know what is.
I have a weird feeling that Caroline actually killed Michelle Cross (Lexy and Caroline’s mom) since we see her reflection in a knife and for some reason this reminds me of in Cult of Chucky when Nica had a nightmare of a humongous Chucky and Charles Lee Ray was in the reflection. Also, Caroline mentions that she had already left but I think she’s probably dead in a closet.
This is how I found your channel last year and I have watched every video since! You have great content, but I am so happy to see more Chucky videos!!!
One thing about the episode that I don't get is how does Chucky know Tiffany foiled his plan? The dolls on the truck didn't witness Tiffany decapitating him and admitting to ratting him out. And Tiffany looks away and appears to remember what transpired at Chucky's childhood home and then tells Andy to keep quiet about it. Also I'm 100% sure production used the ToTS SoC Tiffany doll for the close up of her getting her head blown off.
That's exactly what I was thinking. I thought they made it clear that the Chucky's don't have a hive mind type thing in season 1 too, so I'm not sure how the Chucky's or Tiffany could have known what transpired in the house.
@@GTARanger1992 Well it's confirmed that the movie Bride of Chucky exists in the Chucky-verse. After Tiffany took Jennifer's body at the end of Seed of Chucky, she likely went on to produce and star in Bride of Chucky. Andy, being the Chucky enthusiast that he is, more than likely saw the movie. That at least gives some exposition to how he knew who she was in Cult of Chucky.
@@Agent1_- i meant how did he know she betrayed chucky in season 1 episode 8 but i did some thinking on that and maybe he was just watching and listening to their conversation from a window and saw everything it would explain how he knew about the bomb and speaking of andy the events with the truck take place in one night and then the next day or so is the graveyard scene from season 1 and we see that black glove against the tree so its either andy or kyle also if bride of Chucky is an in universe movie in the Chucky franchise and Jennifer tilly stars in it could that mean we could potentially see Brad dourif and by extension Fiona dourif in universe and also nick stabile the actor not jesse because there was that pic of him and don Mancini together could he potentially show up
Chucky also mentions that there were 72 dolls on that truck. Now how many of them survived were gonna have to wait and see. During dead meats aftershow with Mancini. I thought I heard him say that we'd see more of the bald chucky.
I think bringing chucky in like a regular character is what makes this show so good. They definitely need to keep doing this. It’s what made season 1 so good
Imagine if when Andy drove off, the Chucky Dolls took Andy and are torturing him, like Andy did with the Chucky head from Cult of Chucky. Also, in the scene where the Tiffany doll was in the little girls bed, it would have been cool if Tiffany took over the little girls body and started killing with the knife that her sister gave her.
Oh damn, you may be right. It seemed like Caroline had a change of heart too quickly the next day. I didn't pay much heed to it because then we got the awesome chucky scene. It's possible tiffany already took over Caroline's body.
And as for Chucky being more out in the open, he is just tired of hiding, and he knows he can't die without a lot of shit done, so he just doesn't give a shit anymore.
this episode felt kinda rushed. like if they made it longer then it’d be better. or if the first episode was same plot, but ended at the bomb as a cliffhanger. then the second episode would end with the ending of this episode and start with after the bombing. perhaps adding more scenes to make the episode longer.
I think the therapist could be chuckys mother or relative or maybe Tiffanys mother, she just seems connected to his past knowing where he use to live as a boy and the Tiffany doll
I loved the episode honestly 7-8/10 for me. My theory is Andy ain’t dead. We got a Hollywood rule of no body = no death. Finally we got this ✝️. You might be asking yourself what does this mean? I will tell you, in the Bible Jesus died(spoilers sorry) and came back 3 days later so my theory is Andy is gonna return in 3 current in universe days or 3 episodes later
The video calls Jake and Devon get really reminded me of the unfriended movies even having the glitching out part. The Halloween movies are also reference here with the pumpkins as you can see the evil face is similar to the ones in the opening and the one Jake stabs. Plus when the clown kid goes to Jake's house the scenery and music gave off Halloween Michael Myers vibes!
YUUUH SEASON 2 BABEEEH. Oh yea this was a great Episode to open up the season running. Andy isn't gone, No way they kill him off like that, Or Kyle last season. Looking forward to so much this season, even if it's carrying over from last year. I agree the Therapist is up to something, and Mystery #1. Aye I like the Batman connection you mentioned, I could see something like it happening, but maybe not Gary?

i want more Chucky & Tiffany interactions... both in doll form obvi.... i love them together cursing & fighting, cracks me tf up. also love when they kill together too. Im also excited for this entire nunery setting.
I think it gives chucky a new level of power when he’s able to move at any time of the day. It broadens the hold he has on the world as a doll. Lol chucky the almighty
I love how openly accepting Chucky is.
My goodness, could this show get any better? Loving it!
I'm glad they made chucky the way he is in this, I think it's allowed a wider audience, especially those who are not particularly keen on horror, like myself.
I know Chucky said he killed her back in Seed, but what if the therapist was Tiffany’s mom or something? Just an interesting theory that I thought of
"holy dead child Batman" 😂😂😂
That couch scene felt like a total Uber ad😂
maybe it was lol
I think the therapist is Andy's mom and at some point came across Tiffany. To add on to this theory Tiffany might have "helped" Andy's mom and made her a "therapist" to send kids to a place that she probably doesn't know the whole story about.
Season 2 is amazing so far, I love it. Chucky being comedic is amazing.
One possible twist I think for the therapist is that she could be Tiffany’s mom. Through out the series she says things like “my mom always said/told me etc.” and it’s usually good advice so would make sense and be a decent twist
Or it could be her sister. Because Chucky already made it clear to Seed that he killed Tiffany's mother.
@@KarenEstepa really? I could’ve sworn he said he killed her sister in that movie
Chucky killed Tiffany's mother.
The first episode was a warm up💯🔥💯
since Andy's body wasn't found maybe he and kyle will return in a later episode maybe they'll meet glen and glenda, i was surprised there weren't any flashbacks like in season 1
0:06 - 0:19
Pffft, that’s freaking messed up! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The best thing to look forward to on 3C Films are the intros lol.
Brings back nostalgia watching these outside of school as I wait for my ride to pick me up
I saw Chucky at a very young age and he’s the reason why I have PTSD. Took me till 8th grade to rewatch the original trilogy
It's Chucky season! Love coming to your channel to see what you have to say about the show.
My cousin was telling me he was hoping Junior was back. I told him “Boyyyy junior is far gone”
Lol
Yeah I wished they didn’t kill him so quick but it is what it is
The fact that a reference from The Strangers came up made me so happy!
Holy heck that first episode came out with a bang, literally!
Therapist might just be the origin of Tiffany's "My mother always said..." 👀
Love the Batman back references Bats is my favorite comic. Never drew the loss in the family arc to this episode but maybe the lil sister will have some sort of accident and become paralyzed like Nika and Batgirl. The way she answered the door reminded me a lot of Killing Joke. Love your content and background is epic!!!!
Please do a live watch party for this show!?! I've been waiting for you're reaction/breakdown my dude. Love your vids and happy Halloween
Thank you as always! Looking forward to watching / analyzing the new season with you!
They did Junior dirty! How they just think he killed everyone. And I'm guessing they thought he killed himself?
I was thinking the same or the doll was possessed with tiff but she switched her soul with Caroline and killed the mother
she didn’t u saw her mother in the room before they got sent to that place
I’m supposed to be asleep but I couldn’t skip this review chris!
Anyone else get the feeling that Tiffany possessed Caroline with the foreshadowing that was given?
This is how I found your channel last year and I have watched every video since! You have great content, but I am so happy to see more Chucky videos!!!
hey 3C just letting me you know you are one of my absoulate favorite youtubers and your videos are so entertaining
The therapist is Bree's therapist
I don't think she has anything to do with the plot of chucky
But what even happened to Miss Fairchild?
One thing about the episode that I don't get is how does Chucky know Tiffany foiled his plan? The dolls on the truck didn't witness Tiffany decapitating him and admitting to ratting him out. And Tiffany looks away and appears to remember what transpired at Chucky's childhood home and then tells Andy to keep quiet about it. Also I'm 100% sure production used the ToTS SoC Tiffany doll for the close up of her getting her head blown off.
I’m so sad that the Tiffany doll is gone so soon in the season tho bc I wanted to see her more
That's exactly what I was thinking. I thought they made it clear that the Chucky's don't have a hive mind type thing in season 1 too, so I'm not sure how the Chucky's or Tiffany could have known what transpired in the house.
How does Andy even know what Tiffany did he wasnt there either
I thought I heard him say that we'd see more of the bald chucky.
rip robin shit shocked the hell out of me
Season one is how i found your channel can't wait for the breakdowns of the rest of the show :)
I think bringing chucky in like a regular character is what makes this show so good. They definitely need to keep doing this. It’s what made season 1 so good
facts
Imagine if when Andy drove off, the Chucky Dolls took Andy and are torturing him, like Andy did with the Chucky head from Cult of Chucky. Also, in the scene where the Tiffany doll was in the little girls bed, it would have been cool if Tiffany took over the little girls body and started killing with the knife that her sister gave her.
I hope your wrong
Oh damn, you may be right. It seemed like Caroline had a change of heart too quickly the next day. I didn't pay much heed to it because then we got the awesome chucky scene. It's possible tiffany already took over Caroline's body.
Such a fucked up thought but I’m sure it’s possible seeing what they did to Nica.
I just saw chucky season 2 episode 1 now i absolutely loved it. I'm excited for episode 2
October is gonna be so much fun with 3C Films 🙏
Chucky is back with a “bang”! LITERALLY!
Spider-Man Madame Web movie got some leaked set photos, and El Muerto got a director attached!! Hoping to hear your thoughts and theories on them!
Another minor spoiler was the mail company truck, that’s the same one from Curse of Chucky.
Gotta say, I really like this episode of Chucky.
And as for Chucky being more out in the open, he is just tired of hiding, and he knows he can't die without a lot of shit done, so he just doesn't give a shit anymore.
The reply of the kid going boom was way more funny than it should have been 😂
Why didn’t the kids stop chucky before he pressed the button? Is he that fast😂
@@bullymaguire921 Honestly yeah wth happened there
this episode felt kinda rushed. like if they made it longer then it’d be better. or if the first episode was same plot, but ended at the bomb as a cliffhanger. then the second episode would end with the ending of this episode and start with after the bombing. perhaps adding more scenes to make the episode longer.
Yeah that didn't make sense to me they could of stopped chucky..
@@kill3rclown690 Boy turned to Kyler Murray lmao
I think the therapist could be chuckys mother or relative or maybe Tiffanys mother, she just seems connected to his past knowing where he use to live as a boy and the Tiffany doll
I'm predicting the show to turn into a war between Chucky and Tiffany dolls by the end.
Really solid season premiere! And great video! Can’t wait for the rest of the season.
U can tell Cris loves that scene of of the kid dying 😂 that scream is hilarious so i dont blame him
It's it bad to say I was almost happy (Robin) got blown to smithereens 🤔😬 BTW was waiting patiently for your commentary! ❤️
Holly shit Batman 😂😂😂
You’re the best dude! I missed these chunky videos, much love!
I enjoyed it and can't wait for more episode 1 was really thinking the Tiffany doll was gonna be alive at some point
Same, I wish she were! Sad to see her gone so soon!
W so far it’s pretty good
Great episode to start the season had a lot of great sequences with chucky having me on edge
The therapist is also bree’s therapist from season 1
YUUUH SEASON 2 BABEEEH. Oh yea this was a great Episode to open up the season running. Andy isn't gone, No way they kill him off like that, Or Kyle last season. Looking forward to so much this season, even if it's carrying over from last year. I agree the Therapist is up to something, and Mystery #1. Aye I like the Batman connection you mentioned, I could see something like it happening, but maybe not Gary?
