Seeing Nica without her arms and legs was... definitely something. Knowing now that Tiffany was the one to call Mike Norris, definitely wasn't expected. But I think the big surprise was the Tiffany doll at the end finally coming into the spotlight.
Man i could give two craps about the tiffany doll its all about freaking nica that traumatized me shocked me and i dont think ill be the same

Yea that sucks for Nica hopefully she gets away from Tiffany next season.
Not too surprising after all Nica mom was tied at the time, so there was no real way she did it. Also they obviously didn’t know about the stabbing.
Nica is the one person I feel the worst about in the entire Chucky franchise. Like, okay Andy's been here since the beginning and has had Chucky torment his life ever since he was a kid. But like Nica was just a product of essentially rape, forced to be cripple, had her entire family die(though they were assholes so I dont really care), sent to a mental institution had fucked up shit happen to here there and THAN be possessed by a killers soul, than have all her limbs removed. Like DAMN.
Nica, in my opinion, is definitely the character who has been deeply broken because of Chucky. He was the reason she’s paraplegic, he killed her entire family, had her put in a mental asylum, used her body as a piece of his cult, was under his influence for god knows how long, and having her limbs removed by Tiffany is heartbreaking. She best have a happy ending.
A person going through all of that would have pop themselves off in a heart beat. But you’re right despite all the kills her character arc was basically like watching a snuff film and in the end you’re still not happy about it
What they finally did to Nica is still... so sick and outrageous. The girl has every reason to give up on life at this point. You dont take a character to that level or you lose the character. What more can she do?
Heck go Basket Case 3 on us and give Stumpy Nica a mecha body at the end and have her kill a bunch of the dolls.

My jaw dropped when Nica lost all her limbs. She has been through some horrible shit but this takes the cake. She deserves a happy ending.

More than anything, I’d love to see Glen and Glenda come back. Glen could be sweet and help them against Chucky, while Glenda could be more like her parents.

when Tiffany told the delivery driver that she would kill him if he didn't make the delivery on time and and said she was just kidding but took it back. that was foreshadowing that the Tiffany doll was in the truck and that regardless of how the delivery went she was going to kill the delivery driver
I think the tiffany doll in the van was her backup plan if chucky had killed human tiffany.
I think when she said “no I’m not” while walking to her car, it was Doll Tiffany. It sounded a little too faint but audible.

I really loved the "kill count" at the end, I know it's probably unintentional, but the way the scene went reminded me of The Cryptkeeper... whose original puppet reused parts (notably the eyes) from the original Chucky puppet. If they did mean to evoke that, that's a crazy deep cut and I adore it, haha.

It's sad and outrageous IMO because she had great fire and spirit, despite her limitations. They just threw that away and made her practically useless

I think enough exposition is there for non fans between Devon doing research into the past and also with the flashbacks there is a lot of explaining that happens some of it just might be missed if you aren't paying attention.
Even as a fan, the Chucky history here makes ZERO sense with the first movie. Wheres Eddie? Wheres any real references to the Voodoo guy? I dont like them calling him the Lakeshore Strangler and falling back on it. He did love strangling his victims. Not just stabbing them

Don Mancini is a genius for leaving us on a cliff hanger so it keeps the viewers ready for season 2, and it’s a great idea that they did that because how could they honestly continue the show after the showdown…so I do find this cliff hanger as a brilliant idea. I also don’t think they killed off Kyle, I don’t think they would pull a Halloween kills and kill off legacy characters in the most disappointing and pointless ways possible ways possible..so I think she’ll show up and help save the day in season 2.

Considering that she is played by Brad Dourif's daughter and emulates chucky in one of the best ways ever, I think Nika will get a doll of her own because I don't think you need arms and legs to do the voodoo spell and may fight Chucky alongside the trio and maybe even Glenn since he was built up to be a protagonist and not an antagonist. I also hope we get more elaboration into Damballa and how Chucky got more into voodoo, especially since we didn't see how he met his teacher and learned the spell.
Nah, I prefer seeing more Chucky x Tiffany relationship over this theory. I mean, who cares about Nicka? Yes , her story is sad and the scene at the end made my blood freeze, but there can ONLY be 2 dolls in this franchise ( let's not count Glen/Glenda, cuz it's a mistake of the whole franchise) : Chucky and Tiff, that's it!

Can we just take a moment to appreciate the fact that this show encompasses multiple versions of the franchise and blends them super well, WHILE adding a new group to the mix. It couldn’t have been easy to melt the OG movies, with family man chucky movies, and the Curse and Cult all into the same universe. This show, overall IMO, did it pretty seem less. So glad the franchise took this route and it makes the story that much more interesting.

I’m going to have to disagree… though I loved some of these things, I hate what they did to Tiffany. She’s more of a childish/immature person with her tantrums and crybaby attitude… it’s like if the one from bride of chucky and this Tiffany were completely different personality wise. Bride of chuckys Tiffany was more of a baddie than a child.
Also some of the acting (especially the kids) was kind of bad… especially jake wheelers. His acting reminded me of Kristen Stewart with the kind of “awkward” facial expressions and the way he acted as a gay character. I believe it would’ve been way better had they casted an actual gay person to play a gay character
I don’t think Kyle died, I think Chucky himself might assume she did and that’s why he counted her as a kill, but it also could just be him counting that Chucky, I’m hoping to see some more legacy characters in season 2, also justice for nica, hope she gets some nice robotic prosthetics so she can fight against Chucky or something lol, great first season though I enjoyed it a lot, the new characters are good also, maybe some corny lines here and there but overall very good
Yeah that was my exact thought on Kyle. I also really enjoyed the season but the corny/cringy lines did my head in sometimes but I just need to look past that minor issue I guess.
I hope she got out. We do see someone’s hand at graveyard with black glove on has to be Kyle
Rewatch the episode. At the graveyard scene it's her hand that appears behind the tree. She survived.

The fact that we all wanted Lexy dead around the first episodes and now we were all hoping she made it out alive when she was confronted by Chucky and Junior. This season was really good and thank you so much Chucky Boi for these amazing videos keep up the good work 😄

I like the he fact that Andy is kinda becoming like Chucky. He doesn't kill innocent people like Chucky does, but I you can tell psychology he's more disturbed than Chucky. I mean, Chucky actually is afraid him. Name someone who Chucky is afraid of? I think Chucky can see himself in Andy some way, that caused him to even hide.
True and he told junior he had another plan for Andy instead of just killing him so that’ll be interesting how chucky plans to use and or manipulate him.
I wouldn't say Andy is more disturbed. Andy is on a mission to wipe out Chucky simply because Chucky ruined his life. And he was the only person that could execute justice because to anybody else, Chucky is just a doll. Andy wouldn't allow innocent people to die just so he could move on with his life. I'm sure a part of him realizes that Chucky would eventually come for him anyway. Andy has become the definition of a good defense is a better offense. That said, him doing everything on his own is making him stretch himself too thin. Chucky is afraid of Andy because he has dedicated himself to Chucky's destruction. He's Chucky's Van Helsing.
I think it's obvious why Tiffany would still go along; because she's aware that the other Chucky's know she's part of the plan and could possibly hunt her down if she doesn't play along.

Tiffany backup plan was copying chucky leaving something in the van. If chucky had killed human tiffany it wasn't the end of the story.

I just wanna give props to Don Mancini and the puppeteers. Chucky and Tiffany were so cute, and anometronics were perfect. 😍
Something that seems to have been forgotten is the way Curse of Chucky ended. Tiffany was already in both bodies, Jennifer Tilly's body AND the Tiffany doll. Not sure if she did some ritual to make that happen or what.
But also the way Seed of Chucky ended when Glen(da)'s soul was split into two. One going into the boy twin (whom pee's his pants to indicate it was Glen), and the other going into the girl twin. She did something evil, indicating that she's Glenda (Glenda was the evil side of Glen). I do believe that teacher might be Glenda. She looks all of 19 years old which is old enough to be a teacher and seems to match up with the Chucky timeline.

I’m so happy to see so many people asking for the return of Glen and Glenda on screen! I feel like the more we ask the more it might just happen! But i got another thing on my season 2 wishlist that’s a very unpopular wish in my opinion but would make for an amazing surprise. Ready for this? THE RETURN OF RONALD TYLER FROM CHILD’S PLAY 3! Have him show up as a hardcore surviver and maybe even a war vet! Maybe he can be one of Andy’s many contacts. Don Mancini did a great job on this series. I was so worried it wouldn’t live up to the films. But now i want more! Also i’ve grown to love your videos. Your one of many horror youtubers i go to for news on horror films. Keep up the great work. You and Deadmeat James always make my day. I hope he still does a kill count on this series. 😅😂
If I was writing season two:
The trio would deal with human Tiffany and Glen/Glenda. It really doesn't matter if they are split or back to being two in one body.
Andy should only have brief scenes I'm season 2 where he is being held prisoner, escapes, kills the Tiffany doll, and the Chucky army, only to end with him at a warehouse of the old Good Guy Dolls. Setting up season 3.
If that is Kyle's gloves hand, she should have very few scenes. She should both monitor the trio at a distance, and research Demballa. Maybe Kyle, can record Chucky killing and talking about the plan.
Then the last scene should take a page out of Halloween Kills book. All of the previous survivors meet up with Andy, Kyle and the trio. Heralding in a call to war for season 3
Killing off such an iconic character like Tiffany(doll) is stupid. I think and I HOPE we're going to see a new love story of chucky and tiffany!)
I would love to see Catherine hicks return to this series! I think she was the strongest actress, in the whole series! Seeing how loyal she was to Andy and do whatever she had to to protect him was so great!

I still want to see Detective Norris and his partner who almost got choked by Chucky at the very end of Childs play 1. Because they know chuckys real, they covered it up but after Hackensack I think their conscience is gonna get the better of them and they'll want to help end this. I'd also like to see Andy's mom in the asylum ( if she's still there) and absolutely #justice4nika that broke my heart too. They did her dirty I want to see some redemption.

This episode was an amazing wild ride and I enjoyed every minute except for what they did to nica. She’s already been through so much and I really hope they redeem her character in season 2. Other than that, finding out Tiffany called the police was mind blowing, and having the doll version of Tiffany come back was amazing! Overall loved the episode and the entire season. Can’t wait for season 2!🔪
They should of made ray's last flashback as the original opening of child plays, where Mike Norris dress up as a woman to catch Ray which he did. Even tho the original opening is lost they really should of remake the scene to show what the original opening scene supposed to look like.

I saw the finale and talk about a cliffhanger with, Spoilers, Tiffany Doll holding Andy at Gunpoint, forcing him to drive to the airport. I even hope that they didn't kill Kyle, as she's a fan favorite character! I saw a black leather glove, the same kind Kyle was wearing before she entered Chucky's childhood home and after she drugged the kids to keep them safe, touching a tree as the figure was watching the kids at the cemetery. Those dolls in the truck might pop up in New York or Washington DC, any major city that Chucky might unleash his army.
it sounds like season 2 will be mostly about andy and tiffany road trip to escape chucky. i really don't think tiffany doll would allow andy to escape and cause more trouble. I won't be surprised if she holding him captive just how chucky maybe keeping her kids captive to serve him. We just have wait and see, besides that it was good finale. I just pray they involve bishop in season 2 somehow

I think Nica is going to transfer her soul somehow too, like father like daughter. It'll be the bitter sweet irony moment. Imagine an actual "Good Gal" doll who does good instead of evil. Chucky's equivellant nemesis. I just watched interviews with Fiona, I have a hard time beliving she will wanna stay in this form for long as she is clearly uncomfortable with the way she ends here.
She has prosthetics now, but I am not satisfied. We saw Nica cook, crawl, hold a knife, use a computer, and many other things before sadistic Tiffany effed her up. Even with prosthetics, she still cannot do much. No offense to actual amputees, but they made Nica a complete dependent. That ultimately, along with all the trauma, ruined her entire life
Also, Nica does NOT want to be a doll. I would hate if she become a doll. That would also mean no more Fiona
This was a great way to end season 1. I agree about Nica needing something because my mouth dropped after what Tiffany had done to her and I felt sooo bad. Cannot wait for Season 2 in 2022.
Tiffany is a weird, creepy, sadistic, annoying psychopath. She kidnapped Nica, sexually assaulted her, dismembered her (making her a complete dependent for the REST of her life), and kept her imprisoned for a year. AND SHE ALWAYS GETS AWAY WITH EVERYTHING. I despise Tiffany, and I hope Nica brutally t0rtures and k!lls her
Something that I'm kinda hoping for is are they going to bring back any of the other characters like Tyler and/or Kristen from child's play 3. Maybe we can see the couple from bride come back. Sence the good guy dolls are going to be shipped all across the country it would probably make sense for other survivors of chucky to come back.
Would make for a perfect Christmas special ! Where he arrives on Christmas eve at Tyler's house or detective Norris thats what I'm wishing for after that ending being all Christmas themed

@@imjessietr29 based on the ending to seed of chucky, yes. The original Tiffany spirit is in Jennifer’s body. So the Tiffany doll being able to move at all is something we need to see be explained since she was shown at the end of cult without an explanation.

I'm a raging bisexual and that line had me on the FLOOR it was so fucking good. (especially the look on Jake's face after, like it registers in his mind that, okay yeah that was kinda gay)
Mancini has a sense of humor about his sexuality and I like that.
Liked the finale aside from what happened to Nica, and thought that Chucky's "Fireside chat" was fun. If Doll Tiffany is able to get the Chucky's distributed and depending on how long the series goes on, I'd like to see either an episode where it's just a bunch of shorts showing what some of the Chuckys have gotten up to, or an anthology season where each episode focuses on a different Chucky terrorizing a different group of people. Also, if Child's Plays 2 and 3 taught us anything, it's that whoever made/has the rights to the Good Guy dolls will probably make more to capitalize on everything.
I am not even a big fan of chucky but I love watching your video review and breakdowns so much.

Series as a whole? I thought it was awesome. I wish the finale was a little bit longer, but it was still great. I feel really bad for Nica though. I wonder if they're playing the long game with her character, and in the end she'll come out on top?

Plot hole: Curse of Chucky said that Nica's mom ratted out Charles Lee Ray since he'd kidnapped her and her daughter. So either Tiffany and Nica's mom both ratted him out or something's weird in the timeline (not the first time they've retconned things but still).
And yeah #JusticeForNica and #BringBackGlenGlenda. I feel like mentioning Glen/Glenda was Don Mancini testing the waters to see if fans were open to the character(s) returning. Also, the fact that Glen/Glenda is alive might indicate why there was a large gap between Seed and Curse; with Tiffany preoccupied with being famous and raising Glen/Glenda, she didn't have the time to help Chucky and probably waited until Glen/Glenda was older before resurrecting him again. If Seed takes place in 2004, then Glen/Glenda is probably a mid/older teen now and Glenda may be a budding serial killer already if their proclivity for explosives is any indication.
I'm hoping Nica will find a way to use VooDoo / the power of Damballa to restore her body; wouldn't it be fun if we had her put her body into a doll to be able to fight Chucky and Tiffany on their own turf? That's pretty much the only way I can see them redeeming their treatment of her, Nica has had one of the hardest lives of any Slasher final girl (her mother, sister, BIL, and niece were killed by Chucky and she was incarcerated, sexually abused, possessed, and disabled twice, once by Chucky in-utero and now by Tiffany).
My guess is Tiffany just let the detective know what the lake shore stranglers name was, thus Mike would know who to look for. Which eventually causes the opening scene of the first movie but not directly. Later on Nicas mom let in on where his hideout was, leading to the first movie
i think tiffany just gave mike like a heads up and nica’s mom called the cops on him which led him getting shot at in the first movie

The explosion was convincing enough to have me believe that they all died, but I was more certain Andy would somehow survive and I imagine his time in the military came handy. I imagine we will see some background on Tiffany since she is the enigma of franchise, the scene of the beginning of her and Chucky's relationship she was presented as loving to live dangerously, but there is times where she is conflicted like when she briefly gave up killing for Glen/Glenda's sake and also not wanting to kill Nica and yet she still wants to forfill Chucky's plans considering the cracks of their relationship. The series had a great approach to ultimately get one to sympathize with the protagonists, especially Nica. I want to come up with some theories for season 2, but with there's been so many twist and turns. Really pulling for the returns of other protagonists like Mike Norris, Tyler, The Kincaids, and even Andy's former love interest Kristin De Silva for next season as well.

Loved it! Especially always loved Chucky's dark humor (the toilet thing... need I say more). I was hoping Junior survived just to be another killer or something, sucks he died but maybe next season he'll be a doll? And just love the show, I hope more Nica, and justice for her. I really can't wait for the Tiffany dolls, I love her new makeup and face, and I hope we see Glen &/ Glenda be there (kinda still thinking she's Miss Fairchild but maybe). :D

THIS SEASON WAS AMAZING! Justice for Nika, indeed!!!!! Chucky got murdered 3 times; his jaw was blown off, he was decapitated, and his eyes were popped out! My fiancé and I gasped when we thought Andy died! I am so happy that he’s alive, but JUNIOR IS DEAD! 😭

Awesome all around. I could definitely forgive the cheesy one liners and acting considering this was their first season and it can only get better. So proud of the cast for getting a second chance to perfect their craft. And so happy for all of us fans that we get to rejoice in their success. I wanna thank you Chucky boy for delivering every week with these breakdowns. They’ve been just as important as the episodes. Agree with you Jaw to the ground not just this episode it the last. Felt so bad for Nica and Junior. For the future I hope Kyle is still alive. I hope to see Glenn and Glenda and actually the Kinkades too. And agree too about Nica Hope to see more of her as she’s done an amazing job this season.

Jaw dropped! Don Mancini really has shown how much he loves this character. It's amazing the expanded universe he's created with legacy and new characters alike. Everything about this show was just perfect. From Chucky's look (one of his best looks ever) to the story, character development and the awesome kills. I also really love how Don manages to create so many creepy looks for Chucky - I just love it when he gets damaged in every movie and now series. In the end, I've never really been a horror fan, but something about Chucky and his world I just completely love and I'm 1000% invested in. I think the huge thing for me is the intense contrast of something as so innocent and "pure" as a children's toy becoming the epitome of evil is just a paradox and I love that contrast - pretty much a metaphor for a lot of things in life that come in a "good" or cute package but are nothing but bad and evil. Can't wait for season 2!
PS. I too was so heartbroken when Tiffany did that to Nica....I'm STILL in shock! Fiona Dourif is beyond exceptional with her character of Nica and I fell in love with her character too so definitely super sad for her. She does need redemption!!
One nice touch that I really liked in this episode is that the Chucky doll faces in the movie theater looked a lot like the og Chucky from the original child’s play movies
Fantastic season, fantastic season finale. Overall I loved everything, the only thing I didn't necessarily like was that Junior died. I know it was probably the best option, but I kinda wish he would've stayed evil or somehow gotten redeemed but I know that just isn't possible. I also don't think Kyle died. Very great season and great finale. I'm so excited for the next season

What was done to Nica was horrific! That poor girl cannot catch a break! When they first showed her waking up, I honestly thought Tiffany had severed a nerve, rendering Nica quadriplegic. It was an absolute shock to see Don go *there* .
And I feel like he's kind of written Nica into a corner now. Where can she really go from here? Either her soul gets placed into a new body or she's going to die.

They did my boy Junior DIRTY. I really love Teo Briones and it makes me sad he’s not gonna be in season 2. My wish for this last episode was that he would at least be able to confront Jake in a final fight and struggle to get the edge above one another but his arc felt rushed to kill him off. I could’ve seen him as one of the main reasons why the Chucky series still continues on with Jake on the hunt for Junior to either redeem him or tie one last loose end. Even just having Junior disappear for some time after killing chucky would’ve been an amazing way to end season 1 for him. Justice for my boy 😔🤝

The whole show was phenomenal I like how they used this first season as a way to interstate a new story into the lore but also slowing explaining the lore itself which is what we never really had in the past to remind diehard fans and to usher in a new era of fans, I feel soo sorry for nica and hope her path turns around can’t wait for season 2
I don't know if anyone has pointed this out but it looks like Andy was wearing black, leather gloves when he was driving the truck. And when I saw the glove wrapped around the tree I thought it could be either Andy or Kyle. Who knows maybe Andy delivers the dolls to the airport and Doll Tiffany lets him go while she takes off with all of the Chucky dolls. But Chucky did count a death at the exploding house and I think they might have ended Kyle's story but we could always wait for next season. But the season finale past my expectations by a mile, this was a great experience for me as a new Chucky fan.
I would love to see Nika's soul get put in a dolls body in the second season and Tiffeny teaching her how to walk like a new born baby, that's my theory for next season maybe

This season was phenomal! I was shocked about Nica, and my jaw dropped! She definitly needs a great ending or turn her into RoboCop... Anyway, Junior's passing did get me since it wasn't all his fault sinc Chucky implated that hate like Jake mentioned. I would have loved to see a redemption story but there is no going back after what he did. For seaon 2, I hope did season we explore Tiffany as human and doll form. I would be great to see Tiff the doll take over. Glen and Glenda need to make an apperance at this point since Seed of Chucky isn't going anywhere, which by the way I enjoy don't "hate" it. I would like to see legacy charcters from the all the films comeback some how with a story and not just kill them off. Overall, it was a great first seaon. Knowing Don, he probably had season 2 planout already as he finished this seaon. Great video as always.
