Andy's confession really hit home for me, as a C-PTSD patient. I've been hit with that realization that without my trauma, I don't know who I am anymore or what I would do going forward. I'm very used to seeing protagonists being happy and excited that their source of trauma was gone and they get to live happily ever after, but Andy reflects a real life PTSD patient and I tip my hat to Don for that.
There is a certain frequency that Brad Dourif reaches when Chucky frantically yells. That familiar, OG threatening voice. Man how I appreciate Brad’s voice acting. The entire cast is phenomenal

I know what you're talking about. In CP1 when Chucky is still CLR in the toy store, he screams "I'm gonna get you! And I'm gonna get Eddie! No matter what!" Something about his screams is just really unsettling. Literally no one else could voice Chucky.

This episode felt like a finale due to the passing of the baton from Andy to Jake. Andy and Kyle's character arcs came to a conclusion this episode. The tribute to them at the end of the episode in the flashback was nice. Don said from the beginning he wanted to use the TV series to relaunch the movie franchise. So now we have multiple new characters introduced and storylines that have been expanded. Therefore, the last episode this season will set the tone in which direction the movies/ season three will go in. I agree that Glen soul may go back into Glen the doll. But that is too easy. I think something else may happen. I do see the bride doll coming back into play. Great to see everything come together. It definitely rebooted the franchise.
This episode was crazy it has so many deaths it felt like I was watching a final destination movie and that throw back seen to child’s play was so good
Great episode so far. Mancini knows how to keep the story going without dragging too much. This is a series so it makes sense for the story to be more complicated. Excited for the finale!
Dr. Mixter is named for the hospital director in Halloween II. The idea is that she's the opposite of Dr. Loomis in Halloween. When Loomis realized that Michael wasn't just some poor disturbed kid who lashed out but instead a being of pure evil, he ran from that. Made sure Michael stayed locked up and gave up on ever trying to treat him. Mixter saw Chucky and had the same realization. And she instead decided to help cultivate the evil within him and help it grow. Mixter is being presented here as the anti-Loomis.
I was horrified when Glen got shot cause I don't want them to die, but later I thought... if Glen is actually dying from that injury, maybe they could transfer their soul into Glenda's body, just like Chucky did with Nica!!! This way, Glen and Glenda's souls can be together again in the same human body, without needing to go back into the doll's body.
Another little wink to Hannibal was when Chucky said "Closerrrr" to Glenda. Hannibal says the same thing to Clarice. Also I loved the Platoon reference when Andy shot Chucky. Lol
So much fun trying to explain this episode to my 9 year old niece, 😂 from over 30 years and several movies of backstory. I’m constantly amazed at how so much of the series ties back to all the films.
I think chucky transferred himself into Dr Mixter while they were running away from Andy. Andy shot the chucky doll in the mouth, so we couldn't hear who's voice it really was. So Mixter died in the doll, Chucky Prime is in her body at the moment.

These last few episodes absolutely had me hooked. I just wish I didn’t have to wait until after Ned’s vampire show to see the after shows but overall I hope they get a season 3 or at least another movie
I liked how Jake sorta teared up a bit 😢 after Good Chucky left his body because in a way he felt sorry for him and that he trusted him and that he was sorta his friend

This episode was crazy and seemed to set up the finale of this season. I loved seeing all the original and new main characters together. I absolutely loved Nadine’s spirit scene. That was beautiful to watch. To see Andy land the last shot at Chucky is very fitting. I’m so excited to see how this season wraps up and how Chucky comes back.
The one thing I wanted from this episode, particularly the beginning since it left off from last episode, was the priest’s reaction to finally see chucky alive. He has played a sort of antagonistic role this season, judging the three kids, keeping an eye on them, and wanted to even throw them out. So much build up to see him finally witnessing what the big deal with this doll that keeps popping up day after day, I was hoping for a juicy ass reaction/realization and him putting the pieces together in his head. A devout religious priest would be an interesting take/angle with chucky revealing himself to be alive to someone that you that has potential to show an interesting POV that we rarely get, other than for example having a heart attack.
That ending somehow made me feel sorry for Tiffany. Shes obviously a serial killer but she's the only one who has actually tried to become good for the sake of her kids.

But I loved it all 🙌🏽 also, I kinda wish the nun would have turned into the new “Tiffany” because one or two episodes ago, Buff Chucky told her that she should be a blonde, which is what he told Tiffany when they first met (if you remember that Charles/Tiffany flashback in season 1) so I thought they were hinting at her becoming a killer and joining his side and go on a murder spree, and I guess part of that came true since she tried to kill Lexy.. but then she dies so nvm 😂

Super excited for a Christmas based episode, especially with the original Child’s Play being a Christmas movie. EDIT: I don’t really see Nadine as an angel as a Seed of Chucky-ism. After all, if Chucky can transfer his soul because of voodoo magic, who’s to say angels, devils, demons, or whatever don’t exist? I personally don’t really mind- I like the expanded religious universe in the series! Edit 2 because I’m writing things as a watch: Priest thirst traps in my media? Amen 🙏 Edit 3: I wonder if this is the end of the franchise, given they seem to be wrapping up a lot of plot threads- or at least with Chuck Prime.

I don’t personally hear a woman’s voice BUT I do agree with this theory! That’s very luckily what happened! Which makes me happy because that means Prime/OG Chucky is alive and the one in the doctor isn’t another soul with slight different characteristics
This episode was fantastic. Definitely season finale like because I'm sure it's going to end with a cliff hanger. I so agree-Nica needs a total redemption arc. She cant catch a break. I feel like all the little plugs back to SOC is to sort of to redeem it as being the weakest in the franchise. But I love all the "Easter eggs" Don Macini uses. It is brilliant. I had such a blast this episode (pun intended) with all the gore and the stuff that happened in this episode. It’s still weird that this felt like a finale but we have the season finale next week so like how tf is it gonna end. It’ll be nice to have chucky in a Christmas setting.
I didn’t know what to think of this episode. Better than the last one for sure but a LOT of surprises too. Devon sawa kill looked definitely fake, 100% felt like a finale, and I just HOPE they announce season 3 before the final episode. I NEED ME MORE CHUCKY IN MY LIFE! Gonna be completely honest I loved this season! Before it started I really had my doubts if they could pull off something as good or better then season 1, cuz I thought that was the perfect introduction season to Hackensack Chucky. Sure this season was cheesy and a little campy but I think we all jus gotta accept that’s apart of shows and movies now a days. I don’t think it’s enough to hurt the show, and them going with a good chuck for a few episodes was definitely something new we’ve never seen, I liked it a lot man. Like I said I had my doubts but I think this season is right up there with season 1. They did an amazing job back to back seasons! I mean the shots we get with chucky, even in TV show format on basic cable, has been pretty great. Cant wait for the finale and can’t wait for season 3! Great video as always Chucky Boy!

When Father Bryce gave his confession was he saying that he was gay? The concept of Chucky is cheesy and goofy, so I love all the quirky little offbeat things they've been trying. Father Bryce's big moment was intentionally schlocky, and 100% gave me Threat Level Midnight Toby vibes.

Absolutely no chance this show doesn’t come back for a season 3. Ratings and fan appeal is high, story and quality of both seasons have been high and no drop off, they’ll 100% do a season 3 and as good as it’s been the first 2 years I could see them signing on for ever longer, sure they could go season by season and figure out if they wanna continue, but signing a longer deal now would ensure Don and everyone can begin working the story for future seasons at once, instead of waiting til after each season aj coming to a decision. Def coming back tho 😊
I am excited to see the season finally. Episode 7 had great writing and delivered by all the actors and then it went crazy scary to the end, loved it. Season 3 please.

Bro when I saw the Child Play 2 ending flashback at the end I was bleeding tears. Because A. Child Play 2 is the best. And B. Andy and Kyle have grown up to the point where they have become Chucky warriors and still traumatized. And are finally seeing Chucky gone “forever”

funny thing is chucky was my child hood scare thing. I was terrified of chucky, mom had a doll to scare me with. And now as an adult this is the second time Im going to be sad with another chucky season finishing and having to wait for new chucky content. Big fan of chucky now, got chucky shirts, was even chucky for Halloween this year (gf was tiffany) seen every movie multiple times and seen season 1 several times. Funny how life works :)
I was thinking sence Chucky jaw was shot off, and we didn't get to hear any final words from Chucky. That he used the switch spell Tiffany used back in seed. That leaves Chucky in the doctors body and the doctor dead, and the new Chucky(s) we see in next week's promo are ones he uses the split his soul on.
@@niwdE25 The Chucky they shot and killed was still moving and breathing which makes me think Chucky made the full transformation. He's now in Mixter's body and she was in Chucky's doll. I don't think it was an accident that Andy shot Chucky's jaw off which would prevent Mixter from revealing the switch.
If Tiffany just wouldve told Glen and Glenda about their past just a little bit sooner, this all couldve been avoids bc after they decide to reform into the doll together they coulve just allowed either allowed Chucky to transfer one of the twins bodies, leave chucky in nicas limbless body and transfer her soul into one of the bodies, or even just give them both new bodies.

Alex Vincent's acting has improved heavily this season. Last season, he fell flat and while it didn't dampen anything, it did put me off a bit.

I don’t personally hear a woman’s voice BUT I do agree with this theory! That’s very luckily what happened! Which makes me happy because that means Prime/OG Chucky is alive and the one in the doctor isn’t another soul with slight different characteristics

This episode was fantastic. Definitely season finale like because I'm sure it's going to end with a cliff hanger. I so agree-Nica needs a total redemption arc. She cant catch a break. I feel like all the little plugs back to SOC is to sort of to redeem it as being the weakest in the franchise. But I love all the "Easter eggs" Don Macini uses. It is brilliant. I had such a blast this episode (pun intended) with all the gore and the stuff that happened in this episode. It’s still weird that this felt like a finale but we have the season finale next week so like how tf is it gonna end. It’ll be nice to have chucky in a Christmas setting.
I didn’t know what to think of this episode. Better than the last one for sure but a LOT of surprises too. Gonna be completely honest I loved this season! Before it started I really had my doubts if they could pull off something as good or better then season 1, cuz I thought that was the perfect introduction season to Hackensack Chucky. Sure this season was cheesy and a little campy but I think we all jus gotta accept that’s apart of shows and movies now a days. I don’t think it’s enough to hurt the show, and them going with a good chuck for a few episodes was definitely something new we’ve never seen, I liked it a lot man. Like I said I had my doubts but I think this season is right up there with season 1. They did an amazing job back to back seasons! I mean the shots we get with chucky, even in TV show format on basic cable, has been pretty great. Cant wait for the finale and can’t wait for season 3! Great video as always Chucky Boy!

The concept of Chucky is cheesy and goofy, so I love all the quirky little offbeat things they've been trying. Father Bryce's big moment was intentionally schlocky, and 100% gave me Threat Level Midnight Toby vibes.

Absolutely no chance this show doesn’t come back for a season 3. Ratings and fan appeal is high, story and quality of both seasons have been high and no drop off, they’ll 100% do a season 3 and as good as it’s been the first 2 years I could see them signing on for ever longer, sure they could go season by season and figure out if they wanna continue, but signing a longer deal now would ensure Don and everyone can begin working the story for future seasons at once, instead of waiting til after each season aj coming to a decision. Def coming back tho 😊

funny thing is chucky was my child hood scare thing. I was terrified of chucky, mom had a doll to scare me with. And now as an adult this is the second time Im going to be sad with another chucky season finishing and having to wait for new chucky content. Big fan of chucky now, got chucky shirts, was even chucky for Halloween this year (gf was tiffany) seen every movie multiple times and seen season 1 several times. Funny how life works :)
I was thinking sence Chucky jaw was shot off, and we didn't get to hear any final words from Chucky. That he used the switch spell Tiffany used back in seed. That leaves Chucky in the doctors body and the doctor dead, and the new Chucky(s) we see in next week's promo are ones he uses the split his soul on.
Most likely that mixer is still alive, he probably transfered his soul similar to nica because Tiffany used to heart of damballa to transfer her soul
@@niwdE25 The Chucky they shot and killed was still moving and breathing which makes me think Chucky made the full transformation. He's now in Mixter's body and she was in Chucky's doll.
I don't think it was an accident that Andy shot Chucky's jaw off which would prevent Mixter from revealing the switch.

If Tiffany just wouldve told Glen and Glenda about their past just a little bit sooner, this all couldve been avoids bc after they decide to reform into the doll together they coulve just allowed either allowed Chucky to transfer one of the twins bodies, leave chucky in nicas limbless body and transfer her soul into one of the bodies, or even just give them both new bodies.
