I'm excited for how to to train a dragon but I can already tell that they're just going to do a side-by-side and prolong the scenes so they can stretch it for another 20 to 30 minutes without adding really much more into the movie
My predictions Billion Club: Avatar Fire And Ash (duh) Zootopia 2 (it’s been 9 years since that original came out, and with the performance of inside out 2 and moana 2, I think this is locked for the second highest grossing film of the year) Jurassic World Rebirth (I like your point about Dominion, from my point of view however is that I feel like with a completely new cast and crew it will reignite some interest with general audiences, that being said if the film is just as bad as the last two then I don’t see it making it anymore, but if the film is good enough, I think the franchise will extend it’s 1B streak) 750+ Superman (originally I would predict around 500+ but looking how good the reception and it being the 5th most watched trailer of all time, it’s hard to ignore these numbers, if the film delivers it’s gonna be an absolute beast in July and maybe a potential surprise 1B hit the way Top gun/Barbie/inside out 2 were) Michael (This one is tricky, on one hand biopics usually don’t make buttloads of money, but then you have bohemian rhapsody which made 900m, and while MJ is bigger than Queen doesn’t mean guaranteed to make more than it. That being said it’s a major wild card it could go either way) Wicked For Good (while this may have a slim chance at 1B, i don’t think internationally is gonna increase all that much especially going up against Zootopia and Avatar in the coming weeks) Lilo And Stitch (a massive Disney brand with a lot of merchandising and the live action stitch do get a lot of attention, I do think it will be one of the better performing Disney live action remakes but a billion, prolly not but close) Fantastic Four (the movie that will set up the next 2 avengers films and it’s a film many fans have been waiting for, I don’t think it hits 1B but it could still very successful) 500+ Mission Impossible Final Reckoning (last film only makes 500m and it’s already underperforming even before barbenheimer, I do see an increase however but not by much) Minecraft (like you said, its trailer may be bashed on, but the ip is super huge and kids are gonna go beg their parents to see it, but I don’t think it’s gonna make as much as people think it’s gonna be, but around 645m should still be a success if with its low budget) Thunderbolts (may be a hot take but I think this does better than Brave New World thanks to its better reception and it doesn’t have much competition until Memorial Day) HTTYD (Another wild card that I had no clue where to put, it could increase because HTTYD was a a massive brand but I feel like it’s gonna make around the same as the animated ones) 300+ Captain America Brave New World (if this film is as bad as test screenings it’s making quantumania numbers or even lower, however if it’s good (cause test screening reports can be pretty hit and miss) it’s got a shot at 500+) Snow White (this movie has flop written all over it, the comments from the lead actress, the cgi dwarfs, every controversies surrounding the film, if the little mermaid only makes 500m, I don’t see this making much more) Tron Ares (Tron Legacy did around 400m, this one I feel like it could about the same or maybe lower it’s pretty much a guess here) Elio (potential breakout hit for Pixar maybe) Everything else are all 200+ or under it
I don’t agree with Snow White randomly. The chronically online don’t realize the amount of customers don’t know or care about the controversy and the name recognition and international appeal will def skyrocket it.
16:01 UGH Why do they insist on turning the jurassic park movies into vaccine movies. They literally found the only possible way to make dinosaurs boring
From this list, I plan to see Avatar 3, Wicked 2, Superman, Fantastic 4, Mission Impossible, Tron, M3GAN, 28 years later, and freaky friday 2. Hoping they all do well :)
27:21 I think that’s a really silly point lol. Imagine going up to someone after the endgame final battle and saying “yo that’s CGI you know, how did you enjoy it”

The early screening for Ballerina was great as a John Wick fan, i have to rewatch the finished version in theaters more than a few times for sure.
Yeah unless it gets a super low rotten tomatoes score, I can imagine it does well. But remember how trash the spin off series was.
continental wasnt good at all, but ballerina was a pleasant surprise, loved the movie
Superman will def make a billion, that trailer surpassed MOS pretty fast.
I feel relived that Brave New World only costed 180 Mil and it's gonna have the 2nd biggest opening weekend for a Captain America film
Superman & The Fantastic Four & Wicked: For Good will dominate!
Yup
Wrong....
Superman yes but the 3 other big ones will be Avatar 3, Michael and Jurassic World Rebirth will smash over a billion.
F4 will be below 700 million...possibly 7nder 500 million.
I really hope more movies are successful in 2025 as compared to 2024’s many flops.
Man all this predictions are just based on your excitement and not based on the general audience
Amazing prediction movies video of 2025,fantastic job Chris from 3c films.
Keep in mind that act 2 of wicked is usually only 45 minutes so I'm kind of eager to see how they stretch that into a full-on movie part 2 is for sure at least going to be 30 minutes to 45 minutes shorter than the first
Yeah, Wicked is one of those musicals where the best songs and scenes are in Act I and completely upstage Act II.
As an MJ glazer, this list satisfies me.
Amazing job 3c! This was the most entertaining Tier list I've ever seen.
If I’m being honest, Lewis Tan aka “Cole Young” was the only part in Mortal Kombat that I didn’t really care for; but I’m looking forward to seeing Karl Urban as Johnny Cage.
Just in case Chris Five Nights At Freddy’s 2 will be an theater exclusive
28:42 … The Black Phone 2..
After watching the first one.. I would’ve never expected they’d do a sequel, lol.
Hopefully it’ll be good and not totally garbage hahahaah
Chris is a good man
26:17 omg finally!!!
I’m such a sucker for the “Final Destination”-franchise!!
This is definitely in the top 3 of movies, I’m most excited for in 2025!!! I JUST CANNOT WAIT!!!
Zootopia 2 will receive a billion just from overseas market they love this movie so much
It's depressing that of this entire list, only three movies (Thunderbolts, Elio, and the Michael Jackson movie) are not a sequel, remake, or spin-off. I might just stay home this year. There's literally not a single movie in this list I care about seeing.
The majority of movies that come out are original. He's only ranking the most anticipated movies, which tend to be franchises because they're the most well known.
Thunderbolts is definitely a spin-off and is technically a sequel to Black Widow
James Gunn’s Superman “NEEDS” to save DC
It won’t. They don’t know how to make a good Superman movie
@@chatterbox7481 yes , it will and everything else you said is a lie you Snyder shill
@@chatterbox7481 synder cultists detected😂😂😂
it will flop. Gunn is awful
@@skurinski it won't and Zack Snyder is a hack , a liar , he's also awful and more inconsistent then James Gunn you Snyder shill
I used to be a Marvel completionist. Not planning to see F4 in the cinema. They gotta show consistency first before they get me back. Superman tho 🚀🚀🚀
Some Synder fans are still crying and hating on the new Superman
Fr Grow up 😂
😭😭😭💯💯💯💯
Not seeing any superhero movies or live action remakes this year. Couldn't care less.
Na bro Micheal Jackson was the biggest artist in the world that movie is gonna make bank
Wacko jacko
Definitely over a billion I put it firmly north of 2 billion and that's a reserved estimate it could easily double that as his audience in Asia is massive especially in places like India and Pakistan and Japan and South Korea
@@firstlast8258your be pleased to see this movie make more than every other movie released this year then won't you 🤔😂
Awesome video can’t wait
i am so excited for freakier friday
You should also consider the fact of release date and their compitition on box-office, because that are the major factors who changed box-office collection drastically.
9:12 lol the sync 😂
😂😂 yo
I don't want Superman & Fantastic 4 to be flops.
Unfortunately , both of these movie are getting so much hate from Snyder glazers and Disney haters
I’ll be damned if Ballerina doesn’t do well, The first 3 John Wick movies is my favorite trilogy of all time (if you want to consider it a trilogy), so I am PUMPED!!
Did you see the forth one?
A trilogy with four parts?
And then the 4th is better than all 3 combined, best series ever. I want a 5
@ My personal favorite is John Wick 3, but there’s no denying that 4 is the definitive action movie
@ I said the first 3
I really like the way you set up the tier list, it’ll be an interesting year for movies!
Hey Chris, on my channel I did a video on this tier list, really like your videos thanks for updating me on movie news! Love the tierlists, especially the popcorn tier lists
I'm excited for how to to train a dragon but I can already tell that they're just going to do a side-by-side and prolong the scenes so they can stretch it for another 20 to 30 minutes without adding really much more into the movie
My predictions
Billion Club:
Avatar Fire And Ash (duh)
Zootopia 2 (it’s been 9 years since that original came out, and with the performance of inside out 2 and moana 2, I think this is locked for the second highest grossing film of the year)
Jurassic World Rebirth (I like your point about Dominion, from my point of view however is that I feel like with a completely new cast and crew it will reignite some interest with general audiences, that being said if the film is just as bad as the last two then I don’t see it making it anymore, but if the film is good enough, I think the franchise will extend it’s 1B streak)
750+
Superman (originally I would predict around 500+ but looking how good the reception and it being the 5th most watched trailer of all time, it’s hard to ignore these numbers, if the film delivers it’s gonna be an absolute beast in July and maybe a potential surprise 1B hit the way Top gun/Barbie/inside out 2 were)
Michael (This one is tricky, on one hand biopics usually don’t make buttloads of money, but then you have bohemian rhapsody which made 900m, and while MJ is bigger than Queen doesn’t mean guaranteed to make more than it. That being said it’s a major wild card it could go either way)
Wicked For Good (while this may have a slim chance at 1B, i don’t think internationally is gonna increase all that much especially going up against Zootopia and Avatar in the coming weeks)
Lilo And Stitch (a massive Disney brand with a lot of merchandising and the live action stitch do get a lot of attention, I do think it will be one of the better performing Disney live action remakes but a billion, prolly not but close)
Fantastic Four (the movie that will set up the next 2 avengers films and it’s a film many fans have been waiting for, I don’t think it hits 1B but it could still very successful)
500+
Mission Impossible Final Reckoning (last film only makes 500m and it’s already underperforming even before barbenheimer, I do see an increase however but not by much)
Minecraft (like you said, its trailer may be bashed on, but the ip is super huge and kids are gonna go beg their parents to see it, but I don’t think it’s gonna make as much as people think it’s gonna be, but around 645m should still be a success if with its low budget)
Thunderbolts (may be a hot take but I think this does better than Brave New World thanks to its better reception and it doesn’t have much competition until Memorial Day)
HTTYD (Another wild card that I had no clue where to put, it could increase because HTTYD was a a massive brand but I feel like it’s gonna make around the same as the animated ones)
300+
Captain America Brave New World (if this film is as bad as test screenings it’s making quantumania numbers or even lower, however if it’s good (cause test screening reports can be pretty hit and miss) it’s got a shot at 500+)
Snow White (this movie has flop written all over it, the comments from the lead actress, the cgi dwarfs, every controversies surrounding the film, if the little mermaid only makes 500m, I don’t see this making much more)
Tron Ares (Tron Legacy did around 400m, this one I feel like it could about the same or maybe lower it’s pretty much a guess here)
Elio (potential breakout hit for Pixar maybe)
Everything else are all 200+ or under it
Bro no one got time to read allat
@@domix1973 just want to express my takes 😂
@@domix1973I bet you use chat GPT to write your emails and make your Grindr profile.
I don’t agree with Snow White randomly. The chronically online don’t realize the amount of customers don’t know or care about the controversy and the name recognition and international appeal will def skyrocket it.
Michael Jackson BioPic the family said they won’t shy away from any drama that happened in his life 🔥🔥🔥
It’s not a day without a video from you Cris so thank you for making my day 😊
Huge MK fan here. MK2 budget is 68 million. I just want it to make enough at the box office that we can get a third one.
Avatar 3 will easily be number one
No
13:56 the last film was actually 28 weeks later with a 64 mil worldwide
God I hope thunderbolts succeeds.
Why? The cast sucks.
@ I just want the best for marvel and the first trailer looked great so…..🤷🏽
16:01 UGH Why do they insist on turning the jurassic park movies into vaccine movies. They literally found the only possible way to make dinosaurs boring
From this list, I plan to see Avatar 3, Wicked 2, Superman, Fantastic 4, Mission Impossible, Tron, M3GAN, 28 years later, and freaky friday 2. Hoping they all do well :)
Your videos are so good
27:21 I think that’s a really silly point lol. Imagine going up to someone after the endgame final battle and saying “yo that’s CGI you know, how did you enjoy it”
3:15 500 dollar million
😅
I agree with most of your predictions, the one major exception being that I think you are significantly underestimating the box office prospects of Lilo & Stitch, a film I am super convinced will wind up crossing into the billion dollar club.
