To quote Sean Chandler (the film reviewer) who said this about Wish, “When it’s a 200 Million Dollar Disney movie, there are no excuses, you had everything at you disposal, and you just made something mediocre.”
Well that’s just harsh
@@gracekim1998 that ain't harsh
@gracekim25 if you've seen any of the concepts from the art book vs what was actually in the final film, you'd know it's pretty on point.
@@leviettri3576it is harsh, you’re all awful people 😭 stop being monsters!
@@sixsaber0039no it’s not, Asha doesn’t need a love interest
Illumination's most recent movie "Migration" was thought to be a box office bomb at first, but proceeded to make over double it's budget fairly easily because the movie only cost around 75 million to make.
Meanwhile Disney's Wish has only just now made back it's production budget over a month into it's theatrical run and would still likely need to make another 200 million to break even.
Remember when people were making fun of Illumination for trying to keep their budgets small?
To be fair, people never complained about the fact that Illumination kept their budgets small, they complained about how their animation style never changes and their movies felt too "safe."
At least they have an excuse for bad, bland and play it safe movies (I stopped caring after wasting money and times on Minions, until Mario, because it's Mario), Disney on the other hand doesn't.
Except production budget only accounts for making the movie. It doesn't generally account for marketing or distribution. So factoring all that in, movies that double their budget aren't necessarily successful.
Disney really need to stop making the animated movies with the same theme
Don't most of Illumination's budget get spent on marketing and merchandise? Like even if the movies aren't exactly "great", their merch is very popular (especially among children) so it's kinda why they were able to keep afloat.
Plus, their movies play it VERY safe to the extent that it's not exactly "bad", but it doesn't do anything to stand out. So it is perfect for families who just want to spend time watching a movie with a plot very digestable for kids and also why they do well in the box office.
Godzilla Minus One is another example of movies with minuscule budgets that make bank. Less than 15 million usd. Though I’m sure it was hell to work on.
Apparently the reason for the low budget is because generally film workers are paid less in Japan than in the US, but if anyone's going to correct me go ahead
Nah bro that's how it went down@@GalvyTheTom If you thought the US had slave labor, wait till you hear how Japanese animators are treated
@Onemanshowoff Mappa is prolly the most infamous, but oh lord, it's horrifically bad over there. Gee, sure gotta love having a labor-intensive job that you get paid under minimum wage for and get paid for drawing in numbers that you couldn't even afford a cup noodle for a single drawing 💀💀💀
You know you’re doing badly when people would rather watch a movie about a thick dinosaur destroying Japan, than your movies
Even worse, the director himself claimed that the 15 million budget isnt true with him saying that he wish he had that much money
It's incredibly sad to see how badly Marvel has fallen, I just haven't cared about anything they've made apart from Guardians 3 and No Way Home. I can at least look forward to DeadPool 3 eventually.
DeadPool and Wolverine was amazing, really funny. NicePool was my favourite character.
I pray they don’t fuck that up
I'm so sick of this culture of binaries. Something is either the best thing ever made or the worst thing ever. Can shit just be average and enjoyable but not amazing? Worst timeline.
Coldest take ever, but I'm pretty sure a lot of people just tuned out after Endgame, myself included. It was an amazing finale to a story more than 10 years in the making. Other than Spiderman, I don't really jive with the characters outside of the original core Avengers team. Far From Home was the last MCU movie I saw in cinemas, since I considered it an epilogue to Endgame.
@@brya9681 its depressing when people sincerely apply the filthy neutrals line from futurama to freaking movies.
The thing is that I didn't even hate a lot of their recent stuff. But there really is no denying that the way Disney has been doing things has been really hurting their movies and such.
The fact that Adam forgot about Ruby Gillman (and migration) just shows how quickly it came and went.
I mean, to be fair, he didn’t mention Aquaman 2 either, so maybe this was shot before that & Migration came out.
But yeah, the fact he completely forgot about Ruby Gillman really does show how quickly that film came and went.
@@NN010 which is sad Ruby Gillman looked interesting
@@NN010 TBF I forgot that Adam was Australian for a second, so Migration might be a 2024 release for him.
Also I find it so funny how wherever the teaser trailer for RG dropped, people were hyping it as the anti little mermaid remake, Disney k1ll3r, and a grand subversion of expectations. Only for it then to become DreamWorks' biggest box office bomb and one of the most predictable and cliched films of the year.
I also forgot to add Strays to the list of box office bombs that Adam forgot.
@@bepisthescienceman4202 I was so disappointed with RB, the trailers made it seem like it was going to be an epic kaiju movie with krakens vs mermaids, but instead we got a 2000s teen movie that was left in the freezer way too long.
@@NN010Migration and Aquaman 2 made more money in the box office then the budget tho
To further the budget problem, Godzilla Minus One released in theaters at a budget of only $15,000,000 and it stomped almost every other movie from 2023 in terms of quality, showing you don't need these ridiculous ballooning budgets to make a good movie that'll sell well.

It’s sad that Blue Beetle failed. It was a perfectly solid movie that was just enjoyable and fun.
Was ironically a better marvelesque movie than we’ve had in years lol
yeah i heard it was pretty good, doesn't seem like the biggest thing ever but it doesn't need to be
Yeah, I watched it on streaming a week ago and it’s tragic how bad it did, it was fun!
Agreed!
Hahaha. Blue Beetle was the most generic superhero movie ever with just cool generic superhero stuff 😂
I agree with the budget and ticket prices, 2023 is not a great year for "big budget, superhero, mainstream" movies but 2023 is still a pretty good year for films in general when it comes to quality
The insane amount of money sunk into single movies and the amount that big companies lost this Year was just incredible to witness. I'm just hoping that Marvel sticks to its "single movie a year" statement.
I’m honestly glad that big budget blockbusters are losing insane amounts of money at the box office - not because I don’t like Marvel and Disney or franchise films in general, I do, but because hopefully the people in charge will realize that audiences are getting tired pretty quickly of low-effort, low-risk and emotionally shallow movies. The reason why other big blockbusters like Barbie, Spider-verse, and even Oppenheimer, were huge successes in theaters is because the interest for mainstream cinema is still there, people are just tired of seeing the same things play out over and over. It’s time for big production companies to start valuing creativity over safety.
Releasing a movie after covid pandemic, the budget cost being higher and swaping race on a character was an disappointment
Streaming has backfired for many studios. Sure, it's a constant revenue stream, but not only does content need to constantly be pumped out to keep people coming back, not only does that content have to actually be quality enough to get people interested, but the general public is now being conditioned to skip the theater and wait for everything to come to streaming. Those huge bursts of box office revenue made quarterly reports look good to investors, and those effectively being gone now make studios look anemic.
Big budget movie: exists
Everyone: let’s watch the movie about the guy that made a boom
And then a movie about a lizard that made a big boom
“Lalalalala…”
I love pepperoni pizza
Also Oppenheimer was literally a big budget film. It cost 100$ Million
And then a movie about a female toy!
It’s not about the budget, it’s about the craftsmanship. Avatar: the Last Airbender, a show widely regarded as one of the greatest shows ever created, had its budget cut multiple times. Its creators cared though. So it turned out really good despite setbacks.
It doesn't surprise me that Disney movies flop. Their biggest source of income is families, and as a parent, why would you spend 50-100 dollars at the movies when you can just stream it on Disney Plus. I mean movie sales as a whole are down, I don't even remember the last time I've seen a packed theater before, but streaming definitely has taken the key money makers for Disney, if they even care. I also think that today's children don't really care about Disney movies because there are so many other forms of entertainment that those movies get pushed to the wayside.
I remember seeing a video a while back from Schaffrillas Productions about how Disney's name recognition came back to bite them with Disney Plus.
One of the main issues is the cinema is flooded with superheroe movies, another issue is the over reliance on sequels and remakes, there just isn't enough originality.
Sequels are not the problem. Spider-Verse proved that. People just want movies that feel special, rather than safe, generic Hollywood schmuck.
@@EL-uj1pl for years, I’ve seen a couple of reviews on terrible, abysmally boring, mediocre and so bad they’re entertaining Indian movies, regardless of language. Tried and Refused Productions is an Indian web channel that will give you the audacity to mock such movies!
Back when The Flash was still in theaters, my dad and brother went out to watch it, and when asked if I wanted to come too, I quickly said no because I just knew that shit was going to suck ass.
As a comic fan, it was awful. Though, as a dumb fun movie, it was enjoyable.
Bro same happened here except my mom made me go and yes it did suck ass
What did they think of the movie too?
I just refused to watch it because I refuse to support anything with Ezra Miller in it.
@@toganium4175Ezra is the primary reason I didn’t watch Flash along with Ezra’s “running” and the cgi
A good example of a box office hit/incredible 2023 movie not needing a big budget is Five Nights at Freddy's and Godzilla Minus One.
Edit Other examples are: Cocaine bear, M3GAN, Oppenheimer, Barbie, Evil Dead Rise, and the Mario Movie
we're really needing less expansive movies like these that use its limited assets in creative ways to make the experience even better
Yessss Minus One was so good
Minus One was one of the best movies of 2023!
And Sounds of Freedom
@@dieselmule2006 I seen Sound Of Freedom a few days ago, pretty good
One of the major problems with Disney and specifically, Pixar is that they just spend way too much in movies. You gotta wonder where some of that budget goes sometimes
Marketing and merchandising. It's why Oppenheimer and Godzilla -1 have such miniscule budgets in comparison, because they don't pay too much for trailers, toys, and memorabilia.
I can imagine, due to the fact that Disney and Pixar are considered the most famous animation studios, that they at least pay their employees much more than other animation studios. But yesterday it was announced that Pixay laid off 20% of their staff, so I don't know
@@LordCrate-du8zmOppenheimer LITERALLY HAVE A 100$ Million Budget.
@@AisarShamsul wait really? Damn. Still less than half modern Disney budgets.
Most of the budget for Pixar just goes to making hyper realistic skin than the movie
I think Spielberg said something 15 years ago about how that the blockbuster bubble will pop and you'll have a bunch of super expensive movies all fail due to their overinflated budgets. He said it would happen around 2019 or 2020. He was only off by a couple of years as we can see. Studios need to start getting their budgets under control and also make sure their movies aren't gonna be total garbo.

Man, Blue Beetle’s bomb sucks, especially as a Latino who grew up with this Blue Beetle. This movie deserves better. 😔
I can't even believe you didn't bring up Ruby Gillman... Then again everyone keeps forgetting about that movie so I'm not even surprised
And it's basically DreamWorks' attempt on making a turning red like movie but it failed to make money because of the small marketing
@@Mr.Feather130 And mediocre... everything.
@@Mr.Feather130the movie was also super mid. i went to watch it at the movies, it had some ok qualities but was mid aside from that
Ruby Gilman was wasted potential
@@noobmasterruben5167 Yeah Since it’s basically Dreamworks’ turning red...but not that great
As an aside, Godzilla Minus One cost $15 million to make, and it was going to be in USA theaters for only one week, but because people kept seeing it and it kept making fat bank they extended it more and more right into january.
Some of the movies you listed were a legit flashbang. What do you MEAN a new Hunger Games movie came out????
Meanwhile, Godzilla Minus One just wrecked everyone's shit.
Godzilla Minus One had a budget of $15,000,000 and it shows at times, but it more than made its budget back. Proving that movies don't have to have six figure budgets in order to even try to be successful
Movies really need to go for the low budget high box office method. Godzilla Minus One was 15 million dollars for a budget and made 90 million back. But it can’t be helped much for the budget when for most big movies the majority of the budget just goes to paying big actors to be in them. The Rom takes 20 million dollars to have him in a movie so if he was in Minus One the budget would’ve been 45 million, half of what they made in box office making them spend 45 million to get 45 million
Been waiting for Mr. Bolt's take on this year... Thanks for sticking with us!
I still don't get why Sony is trying to set up their own live action spider man cinematic universe... without spider man.
I think it’s because Spider-Man’s in such a huge legal limbo, which used to be even worse in the early 2000s.
@@SlapstickGenius23 I get that, but besides venom, most of the characters they DO have access to aren't iconic, so why even bother trying if it's almost always gonna lose money?
@@otodtag which characters do they have access to?
@@_Micah_Bell the rights of Venom, Madam Web and others, at least in live action movies. They’re all mostly owned by Marvel otherwise.
0:47 every single movie was not good enough, bad or the flash 💀 that had me dead
I love how Godzilla beat all of these movies. Showing that it just has to be a good movie to succeed and doesn't have to be too expensive
This was kind of a rough year for Superhero movies. Aside GOTG V3 and SpiderVerse 2, they lost money and mostly were trash.
I saw a post that said “a prequel of the live action lion king will be releasing the same day as Sonic 3 which movie are you watching?” And the comments are gold because nobody gives a f*ck about lion king and I love it
2023 actually had a lot of great movies. It was the first year since 2019 that I actually went to a cinema regulary. Napoleon, Killers of the flower moon, dead reckoning etc
Even though Transformers didn't break any records, the fact that it was actually a solid movie in general was great enough for me. Also the toy sales pretty much made up for the finances which I'm proud of lol
Blue Beetle was a good film, and I definitely think it deserved to do better than it did.
I’ve been seeing a lot of people hate on movies not because they’ve actually seen them and take issue with them, but simply because the movie doesn’t make a big profit. Honestly, if a good movie is a successful one to you, you must be the most boring guy out there.
I feel like because of Shazam 2 and The Flash, people kinda lost interest in the DCU and had a sour view on the franchise.
So they lost hope and didn't bother to see Blue Beetle.
@@devofficialchannelthe director was a bit of douchebag. So people didn’t watch to spite him. Keep in mind he was taunting people and then when his movie was failing he started begging people to give his movie a chance after acting like a prick
I just had no desire to see it because of superhero movie fatigue, also the trailers did not do it any favours. It looks like another generic origin story yet again, people are tired of it. I dont have the time, energy nor money to waste on movies like that.
It just felt like every day in 2023, 10+ movies were being reported on for how bad they flopped every hour or every second. Like how did we go from all these franchises making bank at the box office, to barely breaking even? Did everyone just, like, snap before 2023 and decided they were sick of it or something? Because a lot of the films that bombed that year I really liked.
And another thing that made these movies bomb:
Which is that these people who were meant to entertain the paying customers, began to attack them instead of shutting their mouths.
And the aad thing here is that Hollywood in general is a toxic place now where "dreams go to die", and hire the wrong people for the job for the sweet ESG scoring instead of talent.
"now"? Hollywood has always been a toxic place, ever heard of what happened with Judy Garland and Marilyn Monroe?
Exactly! They decided to go for ESG to trick investors to give them money (they dont care at all about all of those minorities etc).
But it always has been so screwed up, it’s just very recently that we are now more aware of the dangers surrounding any film industry, but especially Hollywood itself.
You know among all the flops Disney has had last year, Elemental being the one that came out relatively successful is one of the most impressive things that's ever happened to a movie ever. Like from a miserable opening weekend to a once again successful pixar movie? That's the biggest comeback of all time and I couldn't be happier for that movie. Im a sucker for love stories and this one did not disappoint.
3:07 - 3:14 Actually, SAG-AFTRA gave the actors from The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes permission to promote the film about a month before its release since Lionsgate wasn't part of the AMTPT (which were who SAG-AFTRA were striking against).
The reason why Fast X made even 714 million dollars is because my cousins went to see it 6 times in theaters in one month
Your cousin is a hero.
Your cousins are badasses, dude!
6:30 I think the problem is people wanna see actually compelling animation and not just “good guy fight bad guy or overcome slight problem for the 1 millionth time” from Disney. And while that can sound like every movie Disney manages to ONLY DO THAT
9:00 wow, that age surprisingly well
Another Banger by Diamondbolt
Preemptive banger
I think this was the best year for movies since 2018 (not exactly monetarily wise) we got ATSV, Mutant Mayhem, Talk to Me, Air, Godzilla minus one, Oppenheimer, elemental
FNAF, Mutant Mayhem, and Super Mario aswell
@@flarestriker2005eh Fnaf was mid. I liked Wonka more
I saw most of these bombs in cinemas & I did not regret each trip, with The Flash being the only one that annoyed me & made me feel a little dirty afterwards.
I think indie cinema had a way better year. Poor Things, Holdovers, Iron Claw, American Fiction, Bottoms, etc.
Soul, Luca, and Turning Red are getting a second chance via a limited theatrical run, which inspires hope for Pixar
Well, the re-issue of Soul grossed an estimated $125k in the U.S. alone on Friday (from 1,350 locations). Those aren't very big numbers. I don't know if this will improve or if Luca and Turning Red will do better, most people have already seen the movie on Disney+, and while seeing a movie on the big screen is a nice experience, theatrical re-issues aren't as popular as they used to, I think they haven't been popular since the VHS became a household item in the 80s. Some people are saying Disney is just re-releasing these movies since they postponed the release of other films like Elio and Snow White to 2025 and they needed something to fill in the gaps.
Not to mention that Disney laid off 25% of the staff at Pixar, so I don't think things are doing that great at the studio right now
More like Pixar getting back at Chapek for how they got handled
streaming services really made a big dent on big office earnings, people aint going to the teather to watch an ok movie they can see at home in a month or two
I don't even think Disney minds all the bombs. The merch sales alone from all their properties would make up for it. It's the hit to their reputation that hurts. It's like the late 90s all over again.
Yeah for real, some act like Disney is all death and decline like its inconceivable and has never happened before. Have these people not even once looked on the web and looked up history?
No the merch isn't saving Disney and most of the new merch haven't been getting sold and the parks also haven't pulled in a lot of money and there rumors that the money they spend was actually even more because of reshoots the only thing that could save Disney is a new CEO that don't care about woke garbage and that's what happening because there's a proxy war between Bob and Peltz and Peltz got some nice people backing him up (Marvel old CEO, George Lucas and Apple) and Peltz warn Bob if Disney doesn't make a good and profitable movie then there might be a takeover but we have to wait and see
Also Disney mind the bombs because investors and paying back Hulu and the lawsuits
That would be the case if the merch was actually selling, but it's not
@@myriadmediamusings You expect people to fact check? But seriously it’s annoying some people are acting like this is the end of Disney like they’re gonna go out of business.

I did enjoy seeing Dungeons & Dragons Honor Among Thieves, The Super Mario Bros Movie, Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3, Across The Spiderverse, Rise Of The Beasts, Elemental, Dead Reckoning Part One, TMNT Mutant Mayhem, Gran Turismo, Equalizer 3, Saw X, Five Nights At Freddy's, Trolls Band Together, and Godzilla Minus One last year! Pretty good movies in my opinion.
The fact that I liked Indiana Jones 5 and still was happy it flopped says a lot about the state of these studios and their business practices. At least now I don’t have to worry about them rebooting the character anytime soon or making a mediocre Disney+ spin-off show about the guy who flew Indy’s plane in the opening of the first movie.
Admittedly, I enjoyed Elemental. My friend and I were watching it at a cafe and stayed for the whole time.
The Boy and the Heron, Spiderman: Across the Spiderverse, Godzilla Minus One and Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 3. Are my top favorites.
Nintendo will probably make many more video game movies and the advertising is almost completely free through Nintendo Directs
Minus one had a 15million dollar budget and as of me writing this has made almost 75 million to 100 million at the box office and is genuinely the best movie I have seen in like 3 years
meanwhile Godzilla Minus One which is not a Hollywood movie made more money despite its lower budget, I guess it depends on who helms the project.
The editing in this is elite. Also, you’re really funny. I was laughing at several points in the video. Subscribed.
My favorite part: “I’ve given you so much of my money, Kevin. And this is what you give me. You muthafukka.”
I’ll never forget what happened after I left the theater of Indiana Jones because I hated the film so much it made me mad
Just be glad you weren’t in my screening. People actually have it a round of applause when it ended
7:09 "By the guy who now runs their direct competition"
DC... Direct Competition
Please tell me this was intentional 💀
You should have talked about Ruby Gillen: Teenage Kraken. The one they pulled out of theatres after only a few weeks.
2:52 The reason why The Meg 2 made a ton of money is because China. They love their monster movies over there.
Seriously, one of their more recnt and successful movie series is called Snake, and it's about a giant snake, along with other monsters, eating people.
Let's not forget the fact that there is a Chinese Sharktopus reboot.
Oh really, the Chinese Mainlanders do love their own monster movies, because they used to believe in fairy tales involving dragons and wild men!
That’s intriguing that you mentioned that you didn’t think “The Marvels” got much marketing in Australia, since we had a ton of ads here in the states (in theaters and on Disney Channel). It’s really interesting how film promotions differ based on locations and world situations (like the strike) sometimes. Also, I’m glad “Elemental” ended up doing better, I thought it was really good! Thanks for the awesome video, your videos and humor are a real bright spot in the day! I hope you keep pulling through and doing better!
2024 actually seems like its gonna be a pretty good year for movies. Im hopeful.
For Aquaman 2?
Imagine this is the 100-year anniversary of your company and your films make less money than a movie about a big shark and fnaf.
I don’t understand the logic where studios frantically throw away footage and replace it with more expensive footage. Ballooning the budget to unrealistic expectations of making its money back. of course the flash bombed there was no realistic or feasible way they could make back their money
You were right about Madame Web, absolute masterpiece 🤩
1:23 FIREBOY & WATER GIRL THE GOATS!!! used to play that with my sister man… but hey, don’t disrespect them like that :D
Happy to see you were fair to all these movies (I thought most of them were OK and was worried this was just going to be a video insulting them but glad to see it wasn't)
100% agree that big budgets and streaming are the main issues. They spent so much on these movies that it would be nearly impossible to turn a profit AND put them on streaming while they where still theaters a lot of the time, so it actively feels like they don't want us to see them in theaters (which I guess would explain why the pricing of most streaming services went up too)
I don't mind Disney losing profits from their movies or series.
If anything that might be the wake up call they need to start innovating again.
@@_NIKOS9_NIKOSYeah this is likely just the next step of the classic cycle weve seen before in the early 50s, 70s, early 80s, and early 2000s.
The actresses and directors and even some of the c suite at disney kept telling me they don't want me to go to their movies.
...so I didn't.
You are uhhh forgetting a certain giant monster that came out in December 1st. Please note that I am not talking about it being a failure. I’m talking about it being really good and people loving it too

It’s a shame, I actually really liked Blue Beetle.
My brother and I were talking about this yesterday. How much of the budget actually gets used? Only those involved in the projects and the higher ups know how much is actually used. Whatever is not used is given to the executives.

Edit - mario was beginning a new franchise it wasn’t an extension and actually had to rlly good deep cut reference and felt like a love letter to mario
When I say cash grabs I mean smt like the little mermaid which was made for the sole purpose of making money with it feeling it had very little care and uniqueness put into it
Godzilla minus one made bank
Mario was a lazy franchise extension and a cash grab but it still did pretty well.
FNAF didn't flop to, same with Godzilla Minus One.
Godzilla Minus One
@@jesterfairy3845 at least it was fun tho
On a critical level I liked or enjoyed a lot of these flops, and its so annoying that the internet shames anyone who likes these movies. I think regular viewers should have the mindset of Iman Vellani: Box office results are for people like Kevin Feige to worry about and whats important is whether or not you had a good time.
I don't know a single soul that like The Flash or Ant-Man
@@SuperDababy2 I liked the Flash
@@SuperDababy2 why do people say shit like this "i dont know a single soul that liked this movie" you are just fuckig your self over by saying that because someone will like it it dose not matter how good or bad it is some one will like it
@@SuperDababy2 i liked the flash
I liked the Flash
1:15 I actually had to grab my enhaler that shit made me laugh so much
Its so sad that blue beetle has bombed and no one has watched him, because is a fun movie it so much mexican and somewhat brazilian representation
I like how Diamondbolt lays the facts straight and says what no one else reviewing movies is saying. The biggest reason why Disney movies are doing so poorly in theaters is because the movies are coming to streaming services shortly after they go through theaters. Most people don’t want to spend money to watch the movies in theaters when they can just wait a few months or less and watch the movie on the streaming service they are already paying for
Disneys biggest problem can be summed up well to what my dead said about frozen 2, “it seemed they cared about cramming as many songs into the story instead of having a story with the songs…”
“Joker 2” lol
Sad, just... Really sad that Disney could barely muster up some good movies
Shame that so many good movies didnt do well
9:24 I'm not Mexican but I have a lot of Latino friends and I saw a lot of Mexican TV shows and Movies growing up and I LOVED IT! not only did it have great representation of Mexican people and stuff but it was also just a great movie with awesome characters and I loved all of them and the story was pretty good and awesome villain.
I didn't manage to watch it in cinema, but when I watched it in digital, I laughed when "Maria la del barrio" was mentioned
The early years of MCU where it feels like an event where all of your favorite Marvel heroes are here and die. But after the post-Pandemic it feels like theres always a new Marvel movie every week. I didn't even heard like 65% of the MCU or even Disney movies
The budgets are the sole reason why. Studios are wasting so much money that many of the movies need to make nearly 1 billion just to break even.
Man, I was so mad that TMNT took so long to hit Australian cinemas. I had to listen to my American friends talk about it while knowing I was having to wait another month.
It's a shame Ms Marvel performed so poorly, I thought it was a genuinely good show, to the point I was disappointed that the character was being pushed into a movie with little hope of a season 2.
