It was great-but fumbled in the end
a foundit pretty shitty but then i thought chucky is more horror comedy at this point so i dont really know PLEASE REPLY CHRIS
A definitely unique cliffhanger, Chucky probably used some voodoo or magic to turn the main characters into string puppets, glad to see Tiffany in doll form again, hopefully if there's a season 4 Andy and kyle will return to take care of Chucky one last time
loved everything besides what they did with jake,lexi,devin and Nika at the end, everything with Chucky and Tiffany was perfect
The ending with the trio felt like something out of a Goosebumps episode.

Yeah I was really hoping they had like actual dedicated dolls instead of the weird thor /goosebumps haunted mask esq cg
I liked it. It made it more terrifying to see their body's so disfigured with creepy cgi

They look like Barbie dolls, also it pretty uncanny valley, and distrusting
Zackary Arthur's "Chucky" acting was phenomenal, and honestly my favorite part of the finale. The "Jake's f***ing ripped!" line got a real laugh out of me, because I remember thinking that when they showed him with his shirt off earlier in the season. I also like that Tiffany is fully back in her doll body now, so hopefully we see more of that dynamic in whatever comes next. But yeah, the Jake, Devon, and Lexi dolls at the end made me cringe a little bit. And I also agree about the fear of something happening to Nica more than the main three! I was terrified Nica was going to get accidentally shot, or something dumb like that, during the prison escape scene.
me too,i'm scared for nica,what if the only way to give her character closure is to kill her? what if they kill her😥 or worse torture her even worse than before,
she doesn't even have single person out there to worry for her to even try to look for her,the only hope we have now is andy and kyle,hopefully they can do something
and save the four of them,and nica can have her happy ending, make new friends and have people who actually care to look for her and save her when she needs it most.

Season 1 - Goes back to the horror roots of the original films.
Season 2 - Mainly comedy, just like Bride/Seed
Season 3 - Takes more of an experimental and surreal approach like Curse/Cult

We all know Chucky and Tiffany are going to break up and try and kill each other like always.
Doubt it seeing how they interacted in this season. Like Chucky was literally about to just give up and who does he calls? Tiff, also Tiff only motivation for leaving Chucky was having a life as a semi successful actress and we all know how that one turned out and GG is back in their doll body so there's little to no reason for Chucky and Tiff to break up again.
They’ll break up sooner or later. It won’t be no surprise.

Right?! I was genuinely surprised because the only person who did Chucky right was Fiona, I lowkey was hoping Chucky stay in Jake’s body and split his soul so he can have both a real body and a doll. I left an old comment saying I didn’t want the trio leading the franchise into a movie and I still don’t, but honestly the way Jake acted, I’d love for him to be in a movie

Finale definitely brought the season up for me specifically all the chuckys in the afterlife, and Jakes acting when being possessed by Chucky was amazing I don’t like or could even imagine how the main 3 will get out of that situation if there is season 4 (specifically in their bodies)

Chucky in Jake's body was way too short. I wish it had gone for at least 2 full episodes until the reveal.
I’m so grateful for the amount of Chucky content we got in such a short span of time! We went from waiting 4-7 years for a sequel to a new season every year!
The point of turning the trio into Marionettes is that those doll bodies are not functional. They basically crippled them on purpose.

Seriously, there’s a lot of loose ends that still need to be addressed, like Andy and Kyle. The show allows for a lot more time to address things like that that a movie just wouldn’t.
That ending was all over the place, one thing I loved about this finale was Jake as chucky 🤣
I agree, I was a little mixed. Wasn’t really feeling the spirit realm thing either. But I loved seeing Brad and Fiona interact. Zack did great as Chucky, I thought it was Brad’s voice at first. I love that Tiffany is finally a doll again

@unbornking18 Because these kids have been through hell. Chucky killed their parents, loved ones, and friends and literally destroyed their lives. Yes, they had each other but yet still they can't catch a break. The same goes for Nica too.

Nah, I was happy with them being put into dolls.
Because I mean... come on? Although Jake, Lexy and Devin are good characters they're unfortunately nowhere near as good as Andy, Kyle, Nica etc.
The trio turning into dolls really pissed me off. The execution was just plain bad. This show hasn’t been able to bring the same charisma as any of the films and I personally feel this season officially jumped the shark more so than Seed of Chucky. I hope we get films again to resolve Lexi, Jake, and Devon’s story in a satisfying way.
I was genuinely excited and hyped watching the episode, but as soon as the kids got turned into those Barbie dolls I instantly stopped caring about where the show, the franchise even is headed. I think the series should’ve gone in a different route from the start, or atleast was more horror based
I prefer it as a horror comedy. It makes way more sense for the type of story it is. Child's play had a lot of comedy elements in the background, I don't get people being stuck on it needing more horror, the white house literally burned down, we got some really gorey kills (all 3 kills that happened in that stupid elevator) that definitely were brutal as hell.

Honestly what it is is people want Chucky to be “scary again” but fail to realize it’s simply that they aren’t 6 anymore lol. Like, you could make the most hypothetically “scary” Chucky show or movie, and it’s still not going to be THAT scary EVER again, and people just blame Don Mancini instead of acknowledging / realizing that.

it really has been quite a ride watching the tv series including your reviews on each episode every week, your chucky reviews from 2019 are the reason I found your channel. I have to admit, it started getting a little hard to keep coming back every episode since season 2 was just alright to me but I still really enjoyed this show, heres hoping they do get renewed or make a new movie!
I personally did not like the ending. Turning the kids into dolls was weird. But Chucky getting was totally expected.

They always find something to fight about And Chucky is a complete psychopath who only really cares about himself in the end
The relationship with Chucky and Tiffany is like Joker and Harley, they are psychotic killers who love each other but also hate each other to the point of killing each other, yet get back together again. It’s unhealthy mad love.
If they do a season 4 Andy better come back for the end
Hopefully they get one last season to conclude this TV series, because if this episode is the end of the entire television show it's a pretty terrible ending to go out on

Yeah, this needs a truly satisfying finale with all the characters that Chucky had crossed in the past finally taking their revenge on him. One last goodbye from the killer doll.

Because this series is so far away from what chucky is it’s like what even is it about anymore? It used to be so simple but now we have ghosts which was never a thing mentioned in any other movie before this. The only decent season was the first one but they have cranked up the campy/silliness to 100 which makes the show much worse and less horror based which is what chucky was originally about

@@spiderzilla2832 yea but there was foundations the franchise built itself on where stuff worked (childs play, Childs play 2, childs play 3, bride of chucky, curse of chucky) and stuff that doesn’t work (seed of chucky) which was the movie that got the chucky series kicked out of the theaters because it was received so poorly for its campiness but when you try to make your series revolve around campy stuff then your setting your franchise up for failure like it did with seed and not sticking with what works with the older movies

I personally would’ve have used that doll house as an opportunity to either kill off Chucky completely and reboot the movies, or kill off the kids and move on. They easily could have had Chucky, Tiff, Caroline and John Waters gang up and just finish them off right there. The doll thing just felt like a lazy write-off so they have a loophole in case Don wants to bring them back later.
I just hope Jake Dave and Lexi get back into human bodies in the next season
Each season usually does a time jump, so unless Wendell put them in ice or something, i doubt it's happening.

This franchise has a way with cloning and people who look exactly like each other so all of them may get new bodies that look like their original selves.

Dude, i loved this episode so much... That ending was hilarious, and that last scene of them driving off was such a good way to cap off the season. 👏
Damn. Is this really the “end”? Your Chucky episode reviews made me start watching your channel and years later, I’m still here watching your videos consistently; bittersweet.
I blame the writers strike for this season feeling so rushed, It’s not Don’s fault.
I'm hoping this is the case. The first half of the season felt much more thought out and cohesive story wise than the second half.

Nica and the Orphan trio really need to get their ending too. Because they're seriously going through hell now.
I actually had no idea that they’d be turned into dolls - it makes sense regarding the home and the doll creator, but I just wasn’t sure what people were looking at and wasn’t certain that they were transferred into anything at all so when the reveal happened, it was just shocking to me! Certainly ridiculous, but also certainly not what would be expected. But I also lovvved the Chucky in drag reveal as I thought it was just hilariously queer and an entertaining way to end season 2 so clearly I’m of a different audience / opinion! It’s interesting to see what others think. This is probably my second favourite episode in the series

Me and my brother (who loves chucky and has Down syndrome) watched the episode and we like it a lot, and when the phone number at the end showed up, we called it and got the contact and I think this is one of the coolest thing they’ve done

Amazing episode, i hope they get a season 4!!! I cant wait 2 see where they go with trapping OTHER peoples souls. Theres so many possibilities! Jakes chucky accent was superb 👌🏾, i couldnt tell if it was really him or ai 😂. I Cant wait to see Caroline's story unfold. I cant wait to see lexy & carolines conclusion! I cant wait to see if the presidents son becomes a member of the group🤔

I like the puppet design for the trio, why put them in able bodied bodies? It'd give them a chance to fight back. Its smart to keep them in helpless puppet bodies. Love the wackiness & gore, the practical effects, devin sawa giving us 2 deaths and 3 different characters, tony and the puppeteers did their thing. Good chuckys reveal finally answered a divisive question 😂 aw man i love this franchise 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Love the action scene in the prison, that shootout was not expected very well executed 🤯,the theater scene was my favorite! I got to see stitched chucky again! Fiona playing nica and charles in the same ep she has a scene with her dad?? 😱
Jennifer tilly did an amazing job as always. I loved that ending scene of chucky and tiffany in the back of the car. Gave me hope we might get to see chucky & tiff back in action bride style! Maybe we could even get an excuse to get an up to date stitched chucky !! Man. I just cant wait to see whats next 👏🏾
it wasn't a finale or a wrap up for the show, it was a reset of the status quo for the universe, to basically start fresh and pick up the pieces whenever Mancini feels like it. Disappointing.
I think the reason that they didnt makes them similar to Chucky dolls is that they'd be able to escape or fight chucky...

i found your channel solely due to chucky season 1, and now im staying up to date on all the reviews and the side flicks
One thing I noticed is that both season 2 & 3 have a theme evolving around a place,
season 2 catholic school and also this current season the white houes, hopefully for the 4th season we don’t get a place directly having everything take place.

It’s definitely one thing i noticed both seasons took place around a place directly with killings mainly being there, hopefully season 4 takes place in multiple locations within a town like season 1 did, because looking back at
It we had a lot more going on with everything not being set in one place which doesn’t make the episodes boring…season 2 definitely felt boring at times with the slow pace of the school only being the topic.
Season 3 felt a lot better with adding more characters that can help build into another season but my biggest issue was killings in the White House, it felt crazy do to the fact it’s one of the most secured places yet chucky killed top officials and they had no cameras & etc and at times the plot on the main character was lost, is jack the main character? Or was henry ?
Its so obvious the usage of Marionettes was because the gang got god darn played so i was ok with it.
I am just so sick of the way they’re taking this show. It’s hard to even consider season two and three Canon because they’re so ridiculous.
I couldn't help but think... what if Charles Lee Ray was the one who killed Wendell's son, which then leads to him making the Good Guy Dolls.. but then i thought wait, Charles was more of a strangler, and his son got stabbed. but that would be an interesting idea
It's obvious he did. When Wendell mentions his son Chucky-Jake makes this expression like, "Oh, that was his son? Better keep my fucking mouth shut about that."
You're on your own with the disappointment. I loved it. The only part i didn't like was the lame doll reveal for jake n gang. Everything else was on point. Would be hella disappointed if we stop here...😢

I hate it cuz its such a cliffhanger to leave us on BUUUTT i like it because its a very tales of the crypt ending were the mains get the bad ending.
Mr. 3C, when President Chucky does his speech for his fourth term, he shows a montage of this season’s kills, and it ends with the nuclear missile toward the North Pole. When they show the missile, you hear a man’s offscreen voice swear right before the missile hits. Who was that offscreen man? Was it to indicate there was a Santa, and that Chucky successfully nuked him?
Plot twist, it was Violent Night Santa, Chucky is screeeeeeewed

As funny as they look I really dig that they put the kids into little puppets rather than something like good guy dolls. Since it was Chucky who most likely orchestrated it, it makes sense to put them in something that's small and weak rather than anything that's on equal terms with him. It's just a shame though that if the previous seasons cliffhangers are anything to go by, this is gonna get resolved probably in the first 10 minutes of the next season if it gets renewed
Personally I really like how it ended with tiffany and Chucky being in the doll bodies, one of my biggest issues was how much time they spent in human bodies, I don't know if this is harsh but I would not be mad if we don't see the trio after this, I never really connected with their characters, And I am a 100% with you when I feel the TV show has ran its course and I absolutely do not want another season. I think the way they ended it we can get in amazing horror focused Chucky movie with him and tiffany causing mayhem, as rushed as the ending was it did give me bride of Chucky vibes, and I feel if we can get a movie that has the tone of curse of Chucky that feels like a soft reboot that brings the horror back I will be so happy.
I loved the first season and really liked the second as well, but I just can’t say the same for this season. I know Chucky has always been a bit campy/jokey but this season was just…. Too silly for me? Don’t get me wrong, they upped the gore this season but it’s become more goofy than scary now. I think season 1 had the perfect balance. I’ll still continue to watch cuz I love chucky, but that’s just my opinion on the season as a whole.

Dan got the concept of expanding chucky and its lore well. But man there's a point where you could end up digging a bit and experimenting a bit much, where it don't hit always.
I think they can redeem with a season 4 ending and the movie sending off the characters.

Season 3 ending with the song “alright” is crazy(I love that song, I was crying at the fact that they used it).

Wilkins house was cool as hell, the atmosphere was awesome. I have been hoping ever since the show started that we would get new doll characters. Though i wish they looked better, and had a more cool design like Chucky.
Hope Andy returns next season .
i don’t know about you but i loved the ending, im sure the people who watch the show for the trio hated it but i loved how happy chuck, tiffany, and caroline were.
The last time chucky was truly great was in curse of chucky and that was well over 10 years ago season 1 of chucky was decent but I swear he works best when he’s creepier with dark comedy like Freddy Kruger please make him his old self again this campy crap has ran it’s course and everyone’s sick of it
I'll just stick with the first 3 films, but I agree the tone of Curse was good

Now he is too busy standing there threatening everyone like a yapping chihuahua and not actually killing people he should by now. His one liners now are generic they aren't as personal as they used to be! He doesn't scream or cackle much anymore either
@@MelBlanc222 I kinda get why he doesn’t laugh or cackle near as much seeing that his voice actor is getting up there in age but I also agree everything he used to say/do is why he’s tied between chucky and jason for my favorite slashers. But I agree the direction the owner of the character took obviously doesn’t know what he’s doing anymore and just throwing stuff at the wall and seeing what sticks at this point that’s why the character isn’t nearly as cool as he used to be. But I’ll still watch maybe we’ll get a better quality movie like curse was at some point but who knows

This finale not only cemented the Child’s Play/Chucky franchise as one of my favorite of all time, but also proves how exciting this can still proceed.

The Finale Just got worse and worse in the BEST possible way...I loved it.
I hooe we get Season 4, mainly because no series should ever end on a cliffhanger, let alone the many Season 3 did.
Just make Season 4 the final season and tie up loose ends.
I think having Chucky and Tiffany in their doll bodies again can kind of soft reboot the franchise and it should continue in movies next. If they want to bring back Jake, Devon, and Lexy for a cameo, they can but I think it should focus on a new setting and characters. That way it can work with the series and be somewhat of a continuation, but also be inventive

I wasn’t a fan of the marionette dolls but it kind of makes sense. They are so small and the bodies so awkward they aren’t a threat. They can literally remained locked in that cabinet prisoners forever. I wish they wouldn’t have put them in good guy clothes but I guess that is just one more reminder and level of torment that Chucky beat them.
I was thinking about the whole using their real body strength like Chucky uses or them having the capacity to learn how to use that type of strength in the Good guy doll body.
