Hey Chris, Rhys Frake Waterfield just posted an update on his Instagram on the Poohniverse movie, and saying this: “Noticed this circulating a lot lately so just to clarify: Peter Pan is NOT going to be the 'big bad" in Poohniverse, the character is too "human" for that to remotely work as he would be up against Bambi / hybrid monsters etc... The big bad you haven't actually seen yet but he is going to be epic!”
0:45 Chris is not not the tony stark of the Pooh verse he is the J Jonah Jameson because he needs more movie in the Pooh verse to review Also that was an Oscar winning role 😂 and great vid
My theory for the plot of Poohniverse is that the reason why things like Peter floating happening is because he IS a normal dude who's crazy, but his belief in neverland is making him toy with the mystical forces of this universe, and in Poohniverse something happens in the opening or something and it can show how he'll be a powerful threat Then again idk why I'm putting so much thought into a cinematic universe based on such a goofy concept as this
no i totally get what you mean, i think it's possible they could be playing on the concept of Imagination just like those fairy tale movies did but give it a dark twist, in those movies you see what kids can do with the power of imagination and belief, here they'll show us what can happen when a deranged psycho uses that instead
Rhys Frake waterfield confirmed that Peter pan will not be the Thanos of the universe, we still haven't got any updates on who will be the big main villain for Poohniverse, but they said it will epic, but I hope he gets the mythical powers like his shadow and his ability to fly....please Scott! It would be a disappointment if you won't give him those kinds of powers! And I hope Peter pan gets his accurate green look from the books, almost like the concept drawing from the Winnie Pooh blood and honey 2 credits!
What about a Ren and stimpy horror movie that serves as a sequel to Ren seeks help where Ren breaks out of the asylum and goes into a rage filled genocidal rampage and it's up to stimpy to stop him for good while also coming to terms with his abusive relationship with Ren.
You know as campy as these movies are sometimes they can be guilty pleasures i grew up with Peter Pan and i loved horror as a kid even now, but then again sometimes it’s good to close the book of thoughts on these types of movies
The original story already was perfect as a horror story. This should have been classic peter pan, but slightly more evil. A bloodthirsty child with no morals who kidnaps other kids and can fly? Thats already pretty scary. Add to that, the fact he regularly fights grown adult pirates using nothing but a little dagger? Perfect villain material. Should have been a story about a group of kidnapped kids surviving in neverland, while Peter hunts them for abandoning him.
Keep these reviews coming Cris! (Always a good time and a good laugh watching these reviews. Whether you are ranting off, or telling us the absurd things that happen in it!)
" Spoilers" Thanks for the review, pretty shocking spoilers that "Peter" and "Tinker" are just crazy but the bright side is that if a Mom can possibly defeat Peter I think we just found our Thanos-level threat for this ultimate conclusion.
I feel like they missed a major opportunity and the easiest opportunity for this character. You could’ve easily made him the actual Peter Pan who was casted out as a child and forced to age. As he aged, he recognizes and sees the awful real world. Craving and living for Neverland, he grows into a psychopath. Simply because people don’t believe him, maybe he is abused, and the feeling of being loved and unwanted destroys him. Maybe Tinker Bell is his catalyst of evil as he kidnaps a druggie girl with the name Bell. Making her play the role to remind him of Neverland and what he is striving towards. His touch of drugs and mental illness spirals into his belief that killing kids will bring him and them closer to Neverland. They could’ve easily made the kill sequences have him using his powers, with the twist being, those are the parts that were made up in his head. Showing that his yearning for his magical powers is also there. This way you can save the fantastical stuff for future movies, when the budget is higher. This stuff literally writes itself sometimes.
Honestly Chris, I like your ideas, they should hire you to write the stories haha. I’ll still check it out for myself, I’m definitely someone that doesn’t really like these movies but they are still in a way entertaining enough to watch for now. Curious for Pinocchio
An interesting interview came out recently where they said that Neverland is an actual place and it may be looked into in a Peter Pan sequel. That would be interesting.
Honestly, from the sound of how you described it, I think Peter Pan's Neverland Nightmare could've been better with this: There is this dark theory that Captain Hook was once a lost boy, but when he found out about Peter Pan's nefarious goals, he tried to escape but lost his hand in the process and it portrayed Hook as this "fallen hero" If they kept the whole thing of Peter wanting to send kids to Neverland, but you incorporate Hook more as a prominent character, he meets Wendy earlier in the movie, and have him try to help her escape, while also getting rid of that dumb twist of "Oh Neverland never existed at all," I think this movie could've heavily benefited from that
It's not a theory about Captain Hook having been a Lost Boy it's canon fact. The Disney Live action remakes titled Peter and Wendy reveals that towards the end of the movie. It reveals that James (Captain Hook's real name) was the first Lost Boy that Peter brought to Neverland. James eventually began to miss his mother, which upset Peter, and James went back to the real world. Years later, James returned to Neverland..but Peter rejected him because James had grown up into an adult. He ended up staying in Neverland becoming Captain Hook.
I have to agree about the “serious” tone of the movies feeling a bit too much. Like I’m not asking for slapstick and campiness out the window, and I like the ruthlessness and just mean spirited kills too haha. But the movies would benefit from being just a *little* bit self aware at times and light hearted. Just the smallest bit, because they’re so serious.
That’s really cool your station popped up in the movie on the tv! Congratulations! I hope you get a bigger part in the next chapter of that universe. I’m happy for you! 😊
director Scott Chambers announced plans for a sequel, acknowledging that the film needs to perform well at the box office before the project can be officially green-lit. He also stated that the plot would explore the realization that though the first film depicts Peter Pan exploring Neverland while he is under the influence of drug abuse and the audience is intended to question its reality, the sequel would reveal that the location is indeed a real place.
I work at a theater and when i looked at the movie schedules i suddenly saw this one that list for like a 7pm showing. I was confused. I clicked on the description and i was like "i dont remember seeing this anywhere wtf"
They should have gone the Hook route. He CHOSE to stay in the real world(And Neverland WAS real but after leaving and growing up it drives him mad and he WANTS to go back), but eventually loses his mind and BECOMES a killer. Peter Pan has always been a creepy character even in the original books. Him growing up to become a killer isn't farfetched. Also could have gone with a LITTLE BIT of the goofy from Hook in this too.
I'm actually writing a fanfiction on Quotev where the Twisted Childhood Universe crosses over with RWBY. In it, after learning that her mom died, Ruby runs off into the forest by herself where she meets Pooh who saves her from some Beowolves. Naturally, I stand by my beloef that the Crossbreeds have No Kill Rule when it comes to children, so Pooh leaves her be and a little bit of bis humanity shines through when he takes her back to her house. Over the years, Ruby befriends the Crossbreeds and even suggests they move to either the Forever Fall or Emerald Forests so no one else on Patch Island discovers them. The Crossbreeds make it clear on several occasions that they hate the White Fang and see Faunus as no better than the Humans and have even occasionally killed members of the White Fang. Bambi despise both Huntsmen and Huntresses, comparing them to the hunters that killed his mom. Peter Pan, Mad Hatter, and Mary Poppins (since they are the "bigger bads" of the TCU) used to work for Salem to help spread fear throughout Remnant, but eventually Salem kicked them to the curb because she felt that their methods were "too extreme" for her tastes. I have no clue on whether Pinocchio is going to be one of the "bigger bads" of the TCU, but seeing as in the end credits drawings, he's seen standing with the Crossbreeds and Bambi, I can assume he's not as bad as the Bigger Bads. Ruby is able to bond with Crossbreeds, Bambi, and Pinocchio because she sees good in them and believes they're not as bad they and everyone else thinks.
Even after Peter Pan Neverland Nightmare, Once Upon a Time Season 3 Peter Pan remains the best evil version of Peter Pan we got and will probably ever get
I feel like it would make sense if Captain Hook was like the first victim for Peter Pan, and he seen as more of a hero like some incarnations to pick them as
I heard they released a new trailer for Bambi: The Reckoning before you see Peter Pan. I think it's possible we might see Captain Hook and Tinker Bell back since they were on the poster for the Poohniverse movie. So, we could get some more of them in that movie.
I find it very humorous that already absurd concept for a shared universe now has a Meta Aspect as well. In Winnie 2 when Freddy is watching the clip from your channel and he says “Isn’t this about your boyfriend?” To the babysitter. And in THIS one Micheal’s friend from school is wearing a Winnie Blood and Honey shirt in the last act of this movie lol. It reminds me of the Stab films in the Scream Franchise haha.
This movie was super good but they had a lot of references like IT when he was in the sewer scene, I know what you did last summer when he was under the plastic and attacked Helen, and terrifer allies death when he peeled her hair off and it's crazy that it took me all the way to the end to realize Tinkerbell was the lil boy taking when he was lil ,and the fact captain hook was in the basement with a hook for a hand
I've honestly loved all three movies so far! I watched all three films in theaters. The first "Blood And Honey" was fun. The sequel however was a huge, huge improvement! Not only in story, but in creature designs and everything! Peter Pan, I thought was also very amazing. I loved the performances from everyone. Especially from our Peter. I can't wait to see what comes next! I'm guessing it's the new Bambi. I saw the teaser for that one. 😁
Whats up chris big fan of your work & it was really nice of watching you talk about the peter pan horror movie i thought it was enjoyable when i watched it but was disappointed that he doesn't have powers though but i'm looking forward of your reviews for more twisted fairy tale or childhood movies take care my duuuuuuude
I had an idea for a Peter Pan horror film. Inspired by Orphan. To make Captain Hook (Hawk) a police Captain who got his dominate right hand cut off by Peter as he tried to rescue his son Roger. I might still go through with the concept in the near future as a filmmaker
Okay, so my personal theory for the music that plays over the phone at the end of the movie could be that Peter has either somehow managed to get Captain Hook under his control like he did with Tinkerbell or he managed to escape. If it's the latter, then I can see Hook going on a mission to track him down and finish him off. And while hunting for Peter, he crosses paths with the Crossbreeds and convinces them to help him bring down Peter. Along the way, they also team up with Rabbit, Bambi, and Pinocchio (in the drawing of the Monsters Assemble movie during the credits of Blood and Honey 2, we only see the Crossbreeds, Bambi, and Pinocchio). This could also lead to the Crossbreeds, Bambi, and Pinocchio calling a temporary truce with Christopher, Xana, and whoever Pinocchio is trying to kill in his own movie. Speaking of the Crossbreeds, I also feel like they have an Only One Rule kind of kill deal going on: No Harm is to Come to Children. In the Birdwatching/Poohsticks Scene, after they kill the dad, they leave the kid alone (when he was calling out for his father, it was already evening). And we see this again where after he kills their parents, he doesn't hurt Christopher's sister and instead just takes her with him.
They did do “marketing” by doing director/actor interviews on some horror channels on YT. I knew about the release before this week thanks to channels like Splattercast and Killjoy Jake. 😁👍
Whats up chris big fan of your work & it was really nice of what your thoughts & feelings were on that peter pan horror movie it was enjoyable when i watched it but was disappointed that he doesn't have powers though but i'm looking forward of your reviews for the next twisted fairy tale or childhood movies take care my duuuuude
Hey Chris, if i am not wrong Scott has Said that he had a diffrent script to begin with in this movie and that was all taking place in neverland, but he did not have the budget to make that happen. He Said that could be a idea for a second movie so they have some sort of plan for Neverland we just have not seen it yet
These movies are reminding of the 80s and 90s cheesy movies like Night of the Demons or Idle Hands all have their funny moments but are still pretty brutal while being cheap
I saw this yesterday and been waiting for your review! This one actually surprised me lol, I actually liked it. It was done pretty well in my opinion. The fight/action sequences were my favorite because of how real they made them
Supposedly, the director stated that if it does good, they will make a sequel, and part of the sequel is that neverland is revealed to actually exist. So I'm hoping they have neverland as some sort of dark hellish place, that somehow gives Peter actual powers similar to peter pan, like with dark magic or something, and the more he brings to neverland the longer he lives or the faster he heals or something. Peter needs something if he is to go against the bio engineered self regenerating Pooh.
When the poohniverse was announced, i thought that it would be where the lost boys were pooh and his friends that escaped and grew outside and whatever whatever and in this movie when it was announced it would be more Peter hunting them down and grabbing other kids to be lost boys. Thats what i thought
Is Peter Pan the one that sends boys to a island and a character says with a evil smile something like "they wont come back as boys but as men" or was that Pinocchio
Mah boy Chris sounds so different now that he's been added to the movie hahaha You had the shot and you didnt take it man!, like saying, "its THIS bad but you say only this little bad detail"
I’m just not huge on the idea of him being a normal serial killer. Peter Pan is already a pretty eerie story when you think about it and it’s got tons of potential for scares with creatures and other fantastical elements. This premise feels like it could be any slasher but he’s just called Peter Pan
They didn't elaborate too much but I'm pretty sure Captain Hook is THE KID FROM THE BEGINNING. Because there is a big time jump after that. And then also, Rhys announced that Peter Pan is NOT the big bad answer that was just rumor. Just wanted to update what I saw. Love ur vids brother
Their could be a sequal, and the script is already written and apparently Scott said that it would be revealed that Neverland was real and he would go to it.
Have you seen the first look image of what Mickey Mouse is going to look like in Screamboat? But have you also seen that Screamboat is now coming out in April?
I think Peter Pan was always a good concept to be a horror movie, that character always creeped me out a little, plus people made Creepypastas of him prior to this, so he was always a little sus to begin with, especially that shadow. 😅
That idea of Peter not having powers and is just an ordinary horror villain like Michael Myers and having him go up against Pooh and his gang in Poohniverse seems like he was supposed to be in his own grounded universe like Robert Pattinson’s Batman. I just get that vibe from this
10:19 felt like they added dialogue & past scenes so that ppl wouldn’t complain about it cause some ppl complain about any & everything even if it’s small

In the Birdwatching/Poohsticks Scene, after they kill the dad, they leave the kid alone (when he was calling out for his father, it was already evening). And we see this again where after he kills their parents, he doesn't hurt Christopher's sister and instead just takes her with him.
This movie had zero marketing
They did do “marketing” by doing director/actor interviews on some horror channels on YT. I knew about the release before this week thanks to channels like Splattercast and Killjoy Jake. 😁👍
Whats up chris big fan of your work & it was really nice of what your thoughts & feelings were on that peter pan horror movie it was enjoyable when i watched it but was disappointed that he doesn't have powers though but i'm looking forward of your reviews for the next twisted fairy tale or childhood movies take care my duuuuude
Man what a good day 3C uploaded and a possible live stream tomorrow 😊
Hey Chris, if i am not wrong Scott has Said that he had a diffrent script to begin with in this movie and that was all taking place in neverland, but he did not have the budget to make that happen. He Said that could be a idea for a second movie so they have some sort of plan for Neverland we just have not seen it yet
These movies are reminding of the 80s and 90s cheesy movies like Night of the Demons or Idle Hands all have their funny moments but are still pretty brutal while being cheap
Don't judge me but I love these movies
Me to and I don't judge you can't wait for Bambi and Pinocchio
the pinocchio one is gonna go so hard (mainly bc i'm a chucky fanatic)
I saw this yesterday and been waiting for your review! This one actually surprised me lol, I actually liked it. It was done pretty well in my opinion. The fight/action sequences were my favorite because of how real they made them
I’m not ready for Poohniverse Monsters Assemble!
The fact that these people can put movies together better than Sony and Dc combined is baffling
Im glad you watch these movies 3C. Because I want to but they just don't seem like they much potential.
3c having a Stanley type role in the universe is needed 🙌🏾 lol
Is Peter Pan the one that sends boys to a island and a character says with a evil smile something like "they wont come back as boys but as men" or was that Pinocchio
I really hope they do a Peter Pan neverland Nightmare sequel before that big crossover movie💯
Their could be a sequal, and the script is already written and apparently Scott said that it would be revealed that Neverland was real and he would go to it.
been waiting for this review! much love chris🎉❤
🎵🎶Tried to change the ending, Peter losing Wendy...🎶🎵
I love your vids❤
3C it was confirmed by Scott Chambers at the end of the film when Wendy get's a final phone call Peter Pan was calling from Neverland
Have you seen the first look image of what Mickey Mouse is going to look like in Screamboat? But have you also seen that Screamboat is now coming out in April?
Why is Peter painted up like Heath Ledger Joker but THE CROW.
I think Peter Pan was always a good concept to be a horror movie, that character always creeped me out a little, plus people made Creepypastas of him prior to this, so he was always a little sus to begin with, especially that shadow. 😅
Im more excited for your review than the actual film 😂
So when are we getting Pinocchio horror movie
The next few months
The already came out with one @@domingosjunior6805
That idea of Peter not having powers and is just an ordinary horror villain like Michael Myers and having him go up against Pooh and his gang in Poohniverse seems like he was supposed to be in his own grounded universe like Robert Pattinson’s Batman. I just get that vibe from this
10:19 felt like they added dialogue & past scenes so that ppl wouldn’t complain about it cause some ppl complain about any & everything even if it’s small
Tbh I forgot this movie even exist nor heard about it’s release
Awesome video 3c films
Captain Hook I think was the son of the mom who kick Peter’s butt in the beginning
I think so, because I’m pretty sure that kids name was James and Captain Hook’s first name is also James.
11:55 UGHHH that is all I wanted from this film. Oh well, I'll still check it out!
Hey Cris, Is There A Post Credit Scene In Peter Pan Neverland Nightmare
