that was my first thought too but actually I like it. yeah the story is kinda stupid and not that worked but for a mobile app, the graphics are not that bad and it's more about a cute wizarding world and characters than a complex harry potter story. The only redeemable moment I've experienced in this game is when I was learning Spongify in transfiguration and McGonagall was stuck in a T-Pose the entire time. Her head and hands were still doing their same animations but were completely disembodied and it was the funniest fucking shit

There's such a huge irony in the practically forced use of microtransactions in this game. One of the major messages of Harry Potter is how bad it is that kids from rich families (i.e. Malfoy's) get a headstart in life and get ahead of peers purely because of their money. Then they go and make this game where progress is based entirely on how much money you're willing to spend. Disgraceful really. Wonder how much J.K Rowling was involved in the direction of this game; presumably, she makes money from the microtransactions in this. Hypocrite.

And she's a little bitch because she has a horrible home life with those two incarcerated and disgraced parents. The main character is a threat to her goal of being the best, so she creates an enemy out of them. Merula turns everything into a competition to prove her worth, even with her "friends."

And RP Leadership (playing as Dumbledore, Voldemort, any of the teachers, etc) means nothing unless you're an admin that can actually make people follow your rules by kicking, banning, or gagging.

I don't know if you've met Melvin, but he's constantly mic spamming and doing shitty things that would have long gotten others banned. Hell, I've seen people on there bonding and making a huge group that explores at Free Time but the staff always finds a way to break it up even if no school rules are being broken. SBS is very much a No Fun Zone, even their events are boring as shit.

I'm actually kinda pissed to find out that Rowan changes gender depending on which gender you are. Like, come on, someone can be friends with the opposite gender. Them joining the same house you're in is also annoying, Rowan gives off a very Ravenclaw vibe, so having them in another house just feels off ._.

This game is strangely odd and bland that it's irritating, it's a game where you click energy buttons to do things..then you wait..it's like its missing the main core of an RPG if it wants be one, you know, team management, battles, etc, aside from that it's what? cutscenes, fanservice and plot, that's it, it's not even properly an actual game.
most rpgs dont have team management battles? Most tend to be you playing your character (which you do with duels in the game).
This game is much more story based, and appeal to those who are okay with bland gameplay but love stories.

There's such a huge irony in the practically forced use of microtransactions in this game. One of the major messages of Harry Potter is how bad it is that kids from rich families (i.e. Malfoy's) get a headstart in life and get ahead of peers purely because of their money. Then they go and make this game where progress is based entirely on how much money you're willing to spend. Disgraceful really. Wonder how much J.K Rowling was involved in the direction of this game; presumably, she makes money from the microtransactions in this. Hypocrite.

Merula's motivation makes total sense. She needs to prove she's the best to redeem herself and her family because her parents are in Azkaban. She doesn't want to be seen as useless or bad at magic. And she's a little bitch because she has a horrible home life with those two incarcerated and disgraced parents. The main character is a threat to her goal of being the best, so she creates an enemy out of them. Merula turns everything into a competition to prove her worth, even with her "friends."

Albino Gorilla SBS is a better map and better spell system but the mods/admins and some of the prefects are lame. They take it all WAY too seriously. And RP Leadership (playing as Dumbledore, Voldemort, any of the teachers, etc) means nothing unless you're an admin that can actually make people follow your rules by kicking, banning, or gagging.

I don't know if you've met Melvin, but he's constantly mic spamming and doing shitty things that would have long gotten others banned. But he's friends with the staff so he doesn't get in the slightest bit of trouble.
Hell, I've seen people on there bonding and making a huge group that explores at Free Time but the staff always finds a way to break it up even if no school rules are being broken. SBS is very much a No Fun Zone, even their events are boring as shit.

okay but it's fiction lmfao youre not going to die in the game. even if you fail the mission and don't get enough stars, you just start the mission over. but every mission is possible to do in the allotted time without having to buy gems and stuff. yeah it sucks having to wait and it's not realistic to wait 8 hours to free yourself from devils snare but it's FICTION and yeah maybe they're guilting you by making it harder to finish the game faster without buy stuff, but you can still play and finish the game without purchases.
