The conditions. You see because Tails Doll always automatically flies Cream through Lava Valley if no one dies, makes it unable to kill Cream because she is always in a cutscene. If one of the characters of Round 2 dies, Tails Doll breaks down and is unable to get Cream through Lava Valley. And if you kill Cream afterwards, Amy or Sally will take over and will instead kill Round 2 instead of Cream. My theory as to why it went unused? Maybe there was planned a way where only Cream could die in the part 2, they made the scene, but never found an use for it, so it went unused. Sadly, a shame, unlike Amy's sudden beheading, and Sally's silent *boulder flies, and everyone dies* ambush, Cream's reason as to why she kills everyone in an ambush is to get together with Tails as she always would have wanted? Alright i'm thinking in too deep here...
Well, Cream ambushes Round 1 group, kills them, stabs Tails, while he is still standing, Cream delivers (I guess) a confession. There was also 2 signs to this. Including the third sign being this video. The moment when she talks with Tails Doll, (when trying to save his hide by dragging him out of harm's way) about well being of the others, will mention about Tails, and then Tails Doll will notice her heart beat gets spiked up when she says it. Best Ending, Tails leaves Cream, and as he does, she says that she "Doesn't want him to end up dead." Small details but whatever.
I tried getting this I tried going best ending and making Amy crazed which would only kill cream but it just went straight to freedom city and if I killed all the games it would default to Amy or Sally I tried Amy cream dead it would default to Amy then cream Sally as you can guess it only did Sally so I’m quite convinced this is unused but I still might try other combinations to get this but I felt like I tried everything I could
I know I'm very, very late to this video, but I want to say that this scene could have been used if the creators had made you have to save Taills Doll and then the scene where Cream and Tails Doll fly happened. So you could kill Cream while saving Taills Doll (I wrote too much)
You launch game. Scan it. Once you are on the main menu, search for 15 number, Then press story button, search 16. Exit story mode back to main menu, search 15, it should leave two numbers remaining, one of them is a decoy the other is a real deal, so you change one of them from 1 number to 494 number, then press story button, if it worked correctly, you should be transported to a number you assigned it to, reminder that to an level number it always adds up one number so if you place 25, it will transport you to the 26 room instead. And so on. If you wish to see all room values, check the speedrun.com page of the game, you should find in the guides all of those values.
