the real lore is: "In the vast expanse of Terraria's universe, a tale of cosmic struggle unfolds. At the heart of this celestial drama stand two ancient and powerful entities: the Moon Lord and his enigmatic brother, Cthulhu. Eons ago, these cosmic beings existed as a single, unimaginably powerful entity, embodying the dual nature of light and dark. In a time of primordial chaos, Cthulhu, driven by a hunger for power, shattered himself into fragments that were cast across the cosmos. Some of these fragments found their way to Terraria, where they manifested as twisted creatures of darkness. The eye of one such fragment became the menacing Eye of Cthulhu, a relentless force bent on asserting its dominance. Skeletron, once a mighty guardian, was ensnared by the corrupted essence of another Cthulhu fragment. Twisted and transformed, Skeletron became the sentinel of the Dungeon, guarding its ancient secrets with unyielding determination. As these remnants of Cthulhu's fractured self began to exert their influence over Terraria, the world's very balance was at stake. The ethereal guardian, the Dryad, recognized the threat they posed. With her connection to the natural forces of the world, she rallied the forces of light against the encroaching darkness. Braving untold challenges and formidable enemies, Terraria's valiant heroes sought to stem the tide of corruption. In an epic battle that spanned the realms of the living and the ethereal, the Dryad, channeling the world's remaining purity, confronted the essence of Cthulhu itself. Through her unyielding courage and the power of the land, she managed to suppress Cthulhu's malevolent influence. The forces of corruption waned, and the sinister hold over Terraria weakened. Cthulhu's influence was shattered, its fragments rendered powerless. Yet, as the Dryad's victory secured the world's present, the Moon Lord, Cthulhu's twin, gazed upon Terraria from the far reaches of the cosmos. Unbeknownst to all, he watched and waited, his intentions and motives shrouded in cosmic mystery. The ultimate confrontation between these celestial siblings looms on the horizon, promising a climax that will shape Terraria's destiny. In this dynamic world, Terraria itself is a living entity, its very essence tied to the ebb and flow of life. The Hallow, a realm of radiant light and vibrant colors, is the world's defense mechanism. When a threat emerges, it spreads its ethereal influence, erasing corruption and thwarting darkness. The Hallow, in its eternal wisdom, safeguards the delicate balance that sustains Terraria. Deep within the shadows, the Dungeon stands as a testament to the ancient past. It is within its echoing halls that the true nature of the Wall of Flesh is revealed. No mere monstrosity, the Wall of Flesh is the guardian of a cosmic secret. It stands as a barrier, preventing the unbridled release of the world's souls. These souls, with their immense power and energy, must be kept in check to maintain the equilibrium of Terraria. The Wall of Flesh is bound to its duty, a sentinel cursed to endure an existence of agony and sacrifice, all to ensure that the delicate balance between life and death is maintained. In the depths of the underworld, where fire and brimstone rage, the Wall of Flesh stands as both a challenge and a warning. Its defeat is not merely a triumph of strength but a reminder of the interwoven destinies that shape Terraria's fate. In this interconnected cycle of existence, even the player becomes a part of the intricate tapestry. The Guide, a knowledgeable figure, serves as a guardian of lore and wisdom. Passing down knowledge from generation to generation, the Guide's legacy is eternal, ensuring that the lessons of Terraria are never forgotten." please like this took me forever
I love the lore and imaging it. Unlike most people the goblin tinker is the most useful and vital character to me. Everyone tends to hate him and make memes [justified]. But I always tried to imagine his background his culture, loving your nation of goblins yet supplying humans. Trusting humans and rebuilding love and trust again and allowing others to take charge while being in agony that two cultures could not find middle ground. And seeing what he could do with his skills and knowledge to help others even if it caused the entire universe itself to hate him. And it did. Without the Tinkerer what knowledge would you have to go off of. What risks did he take and will all of society dispose him for the knowledge he had. It is written in his character is society outcasted him and now he has to adjust having all his hopes and dreams shattered finding chaos in the midst. I picked him as my favorite character out of all of them. Try playing terraria without the reforge system. Without the crafting system. Play terraria again but having no knowledge to guide you and see how dark the world becomes. [Words of an edgy fanfic writer]

I have myself a theory as to how and why Moon Lord could be Cthulu's brother and Cthulu himself. So after Cthulu was banished to the moon, his brother the Moon Lord found him and so Cthulu ate parts of his brother to try to survive (hence why his legs are missing. And to clarify it could interpreted as ML willingly gave them up or Cthulu forced it) and then put his soul into ML so his body may regenerate hence why the celestial sigil summons ML instead of Cthulu, it is Cthulu but in ML's body.

There is debate in the community for if it is the gut or the spine, though looking at the name I personally believe it is the guts. Not just that, but also the length of the boss is far too long to be the spine if we agree that it originates from Moonlord as what is left of Cthulhu.
Isn’t EoW a creation of the Corruption?
I have been playing terraria since before moonlord (which now i realize isn't that long ago) and i did not now so much of this. Thanks for the vid.
“Let’s start with corruption, because it’s the best” is the most wrong sentence I’ve ever heard
There's far more demon altars in Corruption
Eater of Worlds is easier than Brain of Cthulhu
Monsters in Corruption are far, far, far easier and less annoying than in Crimson
Shadow Armor > Crimson Armor
Dart rifle > Dart pistol
Chain Guillotines > Fetid Baghhacks (they were nerfed and now useless basically)
Clinger Staff > Life Drain
Putrid Scent > Flesh Knuckles
Cursed flame darts > Ichor darts
Cursed Flames >> Golden Shower
Cursed Flames debuff > Ichor debuff in situations when you deal damage less than three times a second to a single enemy (so, when fighting a crowd, or using a weapon with less than "very fast" use time, ichor is a waste)
Crimson behaves and looks like canser, which is EWW
Look at the truth and see for yourself what and who is right
tbh corruption players are weak and crimson have stronk players i do both lol

NPC: What is the curse in the dungeon? What happens when you go inside?
You remembering ur PTSD:😰💀☠
the real lore is:
"In the vast expanse of Terraria's universe, a tale of cosmic struggle unfolds.

I agree about the goblin tinkerer being useful, however I honestly cant not jump in on the "goblin stinkerer" train as its really funny

I have myself a theory as to how and why Moon Lord could be Cthulu's brother and Cthulu himself. So after Cthulu was banished to the moon, his brother the Moon Lord found him and so Cthulu ate parts of his brother to try to survive (hence why his legs are missing. And to clarify it could interpreted as ML willingly gave them up or Cthulu forced it) and then put his soul into ML so his body may regenerate hence why the celestial sigil summons ML instead of Cthulu, it is Cthulu but in ML's body.
that's a really dark but cool theory
