I've been listening to this song for years, my best freind passed away, and we both lives this song, when i was giving a eulogy for him at his funeral this song was playing in the background, odd because it wasn't planned out. I love you forever RIP Jacob Mathew Powell
4:42 is my favorite part of the song. The way he belts out the "should capture be our earnest fault" section, layered with him singing the lines in a lower voice in the background, is amazing and really gives this song a creepy feel. There's so much going on with the background vocals here, this makes you appreciate Claudio's range a little more than you aiready do.
I think the fact that I just listened to their entire discography and then came back to listen to more online should probably say something about my love for Coheed and Cambria.
For sure. The Willing Well songs have been "guitar exercises" for years for me for that reason. Also the fact that they go on for 7 minutes and keep doing different and interesting things. All Coheed songs are a lot of fun to play. Now the real challenge is trying to combine the lead and rhythm parts at the same time (Time Consumer)
Coheed has some of my favorite guitar composition ever and I started learning to play guitar with their songs. I’m a semi beginner guitarist, I’m surprisingly decent with finger style classic and metal but there is always much more to learn for me. Music is my life
This album is one of my favorites of all time, with a close tie with Second Stage. That's pretty big, considering I heard these albums soooooo long ago, and still after all these years, I get the chills with this amazing Willing Well suite.
This is the original acoustic demo for the song, so it must've been way back when. The bonus DVD from the deluxe edition of No World For Tomorrow had this video/song and a few others from other albums. It's pretty amazing.
OMG I love this! Makes me wish I could go to their concert in a few days :( Ahh the problems of being grown up. At least I can blow off steam by listening to Coheed any day and time of the week :D
Did not think, in this universe, it was humanly possible to take a 7:28 min epic and make it acoustic. I'm convinced they can are super sayains (with a power level of well over 9000) and can do anything.
+Kuro Neko this has such an uneasy feel to it. its less like a jam to me, and more of a story. i loved this song before, but this (i assume) demo version gives so much more definition to the lyrics of the song. i want to feel goosebumps, but its just so uneasy i can't handle it.
+Kuro Neko This is a great version of the song for sure~ I've been loving Coheed and Cambria for almost 10 years now. I can't seem to get over this incredible band :P
Why is this version different from the album version? I heard this one first, it was the reason I bought that album rather than a different Coheed one, and at first I was upset that it was different. Now I love both :)
the girl I adore likes Coheed and plays Magic. Coheed is my favorite band, fuck yeah. I'm ready to get sentimental and listen to some old Coheed classics. The best band on Earth as far as I'm concerned.
Even though it's not as heavy obviously, I absolutely ADORE this version as it so easily gives me the chills, it's more unsettling to me than Al the Killer ever could be and this is mostly just guitar and vocals. Just so fucking cool
@justdontask3 D --> Actually, they didn't cut it out. They added it. This is the demo, so be happy that they did add it, because it is a pretty se%y line.
@@Shane_Raw oh and to answer where it was recorded, I suspect in his house! Well, his parents place lol (he said he was living with his parents while writing welcome home, so probably in the kitchen haha)
I’ll always own all the comics. And no one will want to see them. 2113 helped me 20 years ago, sort of. I’m the Crowing. Sounds funny cause it is a joke. Always Sing your Songs. The moment you start questioning your reality, ask your loved ones that listen. And you’ll sing ShiShiShi. Thank you, Claudio. CLAUDIO! The names, all of them, were perfect. They were your universe. o7
0:00 to 6:17 is probably my favorite part of any music ever.
"Im eating my way back home"...gives me chills to this day
Dislikers: Wilhelm Ryan and Mayo Detinwolf
lols awesome
Deftinwolf*
And Crom on 23 alt accounts. He's just a hater.

The album version is probably my 2nd or 3rd favorite Coheed song but damn this acoustic version is so fucking good.
what! i didnt know there was an acoustic version, all this time..damn
yt only recommended to me when I was a coheed and cambria way back 2011. WTF alg
I think the fact that I just listened to their entire discography and then came back to listen to more online should probably say something about my love for Coheed and Cambria.
This song is such a killer on the arm when you play it on guitar! It's such a good song and so fun to play though.
***** Definitely, combining the whole song as a whole makes even some simpler parts hard at times, but its so fun to play.

This is phenomenal. I will never ever get over these vocals. Aaaargh

I still listen to this constantly

fav coheed song.
New to the band, awesome so far!
The last minute and a half of this demo is pure power. It's great to have it in such high quality form, as much as I love low fi warpy cassette demo.
0:45 Has a very Prize Fighter Inferno vibe.
What a gem of a track to find! Ive listened to this album over 1000 times easy!
The middle section sounds like something out of Metroid, it's haunting! So cool!
I remember playing this off my Razr 2 at the Chinese food place in the mall food court for my friend who likes Coheed. Some memories last a lifetime.
OMG I love this! Makes me wish I could go to their concert in a few days :( Ahh the problems of being grown up. At least I can blow off steam by listening to Coheed any day and time of the week :D
give me chills....
RUN RABBIT RUN!!!
Always does to me too.
No wonder I love rabbits XD
No one plays better than you can, no one plays better than you
4:42 - 5:12 amazing

just to let you know, this was actually a demo version that was recorded before the studio version.
This version is insane. I love it.
Best song of all time. I like this version, but the electric is my favorite heed song, and i love every single heed song ever. lol
Why is this version different from the album version? I heard this one first, it was the reason I bought that album rather than a different Coheed one, and at first I was upset that it was different. Now I love both :)
this is a demo...???
You play Magic the Gathering and love C&C as much as me. You and me, we'd get along just fine :)
Wolfman I haven’t played magic yet but I play DnD and I love CnC

This is a stupidly amazing version of this song.

I love both versions of this song, but I am starting to like their acoustic stuff better.
Saaaaaaame
i found all the acoustic demos for iksose3 and both of the afterman albums and its honestly a lot better than their album versions imho
Hey I know you, you're that girl from the Facebook Group
Coheed...YES!
dude I would pwn you both in MTG. And I been in love with CoCa for 10 years!
Brb...repeating!

Weird that this version is actually played standard tuning threw me off for a second.
I have returned a king of....

Now this is fuxking coheed!
Where was this acoustic version recorded? Sounds incredible
It’s a demo. Claudio has experience with mixing and editing.

my mind is blown. and is it just me or do vevo videos load slower than anything else on youtube?
Are there any other acoustics of the willing wells
There's The Final Cut in the Kerrang Acoustic Session, don't know about the others...
Mymy and Cobson love story
PFI covers Coheed
wat tuning are they in i need to know this
Pretty sure it’s just standard, maybe a step down
2nd....!!!!!!! xD yeahh!!!!!!
Am I the only one who notices Claudio's voice at 3:32? He's out of tune when he sings the part "As father told son"
i think this is an older draft. they moved the melody over by one scale degree, methinks
I love this song...except the Neverender version. A major letdown, when the aced every other one😖
7th
But why is it sped up? Lol
You would vcool122, go play some more rock band. :p
