I don’t think I can accurately describe how important this band is to me, but I’m going to try. Honestly, this song makes me think of last summer when I realized how in love I was with someone. Now when I hear this song, or any other Honeywater song, I feel so vulnerable. But in a good way. I feel like someone understands me and how I feel. Their songs perfectly capture my idea of love, and what I want it to be. The vocals and the violin and guitar and lyrics all make me feel big and small at the same time. I don’t think I’m ever going to find that in another artist, so I’m very grateful for the songs that we have. I could listen to their songs over and over, and each time my chest gets a little tight and I can picture myself with someone that I love.

I love this song so much. However, ever time I listen to it, from 1:43-1:46 I heard “Patrick Ewing Stabbed a Rich Man’s Daughter.” I’ve read the the correct lyrics time and time again, but like the color of that dress online, I can only perceive it one way. As far as I can tell, Patrick Ewing is a lovely human and a great basketball player and I do not wish to slander his name whatsoever. But you can bet that every time this comes up in the song I’m screaming out my version of the lyrics
