I fell in love with a girl once, through an amazing time we found this song, it just started playing randomly on Spotify… we called this our song. She was if this song was a person, beautiful, soft, relaxing, not many people knew her, I got to know her though. This was oh… 4 years ago? It was strange, she’d been through a lot and had a bad experience with guys… but then I came along. I waited a long time before I told her the words… she wanted me to wait because they felt meaningless, because of how her ex used them wrongfully. But I couldn’t hold it so strong, and just not say it to her. I told her I loved her, I had let it slip and she corrected me multiple times… But I couldn’t not say it, she meant the world to me. I said “I know you prefer I not say it, but Aurora I love you, I love you so much. More than the entire would around us. I’ll slip it less, but you must know, I really love you.” I wish, I wish I never said it. But I would do it all over again, just to tell her, “I love you” Just for it to be, one of, “the little things I’d do to lose you again”

I love this song so much. However, ever time I listen to it, from 1:43-1:46 I heard “Patrick Ewing Stabbed a Rich Man’s Daughter.” I’ve read the the correct lyrics time and time again, but like the color of that dress online, I can only perceive it one way. As far as I can tell, Patrick Ewing is a lovely human and a great basketball player and I do not wish to slander his name whatsoever. But you can bet that every time this comes up in the song I’m screaming out my version of the lyrics
