Such a simple yet important Ted Talk. She didnt go into explaining technicalities of anything, she just described how to be unapologetically yourself.Which is amazing. Also checked out her insatgram and Dayumm!
I’m surprised people find her appearance so shocking in Scotland. Over here in New Jersey/New York most wouldn’t even give a second glance, only those who are attracted to her beauty.
even if it looks impose and not easy doesn't mean I don't have enough reason to push forward, also to harder something is the more worthwhile it is to achieve and the prouder you will feel to overcome it
I feel like I have to apologize for loving The Paranormal World. Seeing and feeling things like I do. UFO'S Etc. This is me now. But, I am not going to apologize for being this way. I was giving a gift. And it is mine. Others have this gift too. I feel like I have to hide from it. I am proud of being able to do this.
"There is no like you, but there will be people similar to you." Is the other RUclipsrs I am subscribed to not similar to me? I thought there are already people similar to me.
It reminds me of how people all grew their hair long and became hippies to be unique, and then everyone started dressing disco in the 80's and feeling unique, and then punk and goth... now everyone is amy winehouse-ish and tatts... to be "unique" but you all look pretty much like most people your age, in a fad or a phase looking like everyone else trying too hard to stand out but looking pretty similar to everyone else your age . But not so unique and trying very hard to get followers like everyone your age.
I believe the message you have is very strong and important to hear, but I have a critical question. Why, if you don't believe your tattooed body and blue hair don't truly express who you are, do you present this chosen image? If you were disfigured in an accident and don't have a choice in how you look, that would be different, but you have chosen to look the way you do and yet judge others for judging you on how you look. I am not trying to be mean, but I am very confused as to the mixed message you are sending. If you are comfortable in your own skin, why portray a contrived image of yourself that you don't like to be judged by?
I have wondered this about the tattooed people I know personally. They say that they should not be judged by their appearance, but they spend literally thousands of dollars and many hours to create a specific appearance. It's not like a brunette going blonde-this is hard core work to get done; it never goes away! I wouldn't want to put on a dress on March 3, 1989 and have to wear that dress every day of my life until I am dead. why would I ink myself then?
You can like your look, but wish other people wouldn't judge you; you have tattoos, but that doesn't mean you are a criminal, or damaged, etc. I have one, I might get some more, no one judges me on that, but I have had bright purple/pink/blue/mint hair for a year. People generally think it's fun, and I'm happy with that, but if people think I'm unprofessional then I would be really unhappy because I think it's unrelated to my job skills.
well, if you are being yourself you'll deal with anything that life throws at you in your own way but if your not your true self; your likely going to copy others and feel afraid of being yourself and doing things you love openly or feel bad about yourself and get into all sorta trouble inside and outside and in extreme cases you'll forget how it is to be yourself and how to stop and heal yourself just like a certain someone
yeah cause fur matters more than the neo liberals and fake labour that are pro war and pro corporate..... I dont care about fur, I care more about the environmental damage. Watch the new michael moore documentary, planet of the humans and see even green energy is F'ed up
the realler you are, the more people will flock to you. and how she is wearing who she is on the inside on the outside, these are good messages.

I like in the England and she wouldn’t get a second glance here either!!
such a real person who is being Hershel without hurting the people or planet and being respectful 👍
so done fear to be yourself, rather be afraid that sometimes you might not be yourself! thanks for that
Like many things in life, so easy in theory, not so easy in practice!
joggerjeff it always seems impossible until its done. Isnt it? ☺️

@@PrettyPinkPeacock true you do what you feel/think is right and like
no one has the right to tell you exactly how to live right? don't think too much
Easier Said than Done
Being yourself can get you in trouble too. Most the time I am myself. That no one likes.

A very dangerous woman to some men who are prone to damage.
what do you mean please elaborate
Kelly, where were you when I was wife shopping?
The good message gets lost. She's wearing fur - very superficial, self-centered, selfish and even cruel.
it might be fake fur.
