    London will always have a special place in my soul. Great band and absolutely bangin’ songs that never made it out to the masses. Nadir has amazing control and the band sounds very tight here. Great performance!

    I love hearing a song like "Miss You" with it's earlier arrangement and lyrics and tempo changes and then hearing the final version that they recorded and how it evolved.
    And I agree with a lot of the other people that left a comment... Nadir has got such a great rock n' roll voice. So unique and cool sounding. I love it!

    Nadir D'priest is a phenomenal vocalist in his own right, and yes I agree London should have been way bigger, but it's just a though that Nadir is the perfect blend of Ronnie James Dio, and Bruce Dickinson who are my 2 other favorite vocalists.

    Singer mentions Decline OWS. That's where my only memory of these dudes is. It was hilarious watching them pile out of that mini motorhome like a bunch of circus clowns. They were actual clowns in a good way in their interviews and honestly seemed poor as shit. They seemed to just take it in stride, warts and all and forge ahead as best they could. Their music is good and their talent obvious. They along with Anvil seem to epitomize that two fawks 80's struggling hand to mouth aesthetic with humorous pride. Thanks for posting. I enjoyed this set.

    • @Bobby-Love

      Cobain, grunge, alternative, untalented 90's music was the end of talented musicians and the beginning of very lazy future generations

    • @javtimestwo
      @javtimestwo 2 года назад +4

      @@Bobby-Love I disagree 1,000%. The over-saturation of this music and the greediness of the record companies ruined this era. There are many bands that should have never been signed to a record deal, never given a huge signing bonus, never should have had that over-inflated recording budget. Many of those bands from LA around 88 and 89 had no business being on cd, a record deal or MTV. Grunge was not the reason but they are an easy scapegoat. That was 3 years in the future so please stop blaming Kurt or Seattle.

    • @SonicVR12
      @SonicVR12 10 месяцев назад

      @javtimestwo you get it. Ive always felt the same way. They just left the door wide open for grunge to stumble in. Its not grunge's fault, its their own. The music got so cheesy, poppy and weak...completely lost its edge. I'm not huge on grunge, there's a few bands, AIC, for example that really deserved their success. But I'm not mad at it.

      They needed day jobs but I think only the bass player had 1. The guitarist should have been replaced. Either he just didn't care at this show or he just wasn't that good. His sound and FX are not up to par. But I get it if he just wasn't so interested cuz I've done the same thing but thats why I'm on the toilet and gotta go to work in the morning
