London will always have a special place in my soul. Great band and absolutely bangin’ songs that never made it out to the masses. Nadir has amazing control and the band sounds very tight here. Great performance!

London was the prime example of ego getting in the way. They had a great run on the strip but could never get over that hump. I always enjoyed them live.
Not to be a jerk but what did they deserve? They never got much further than this.....big deal. Good band but what do you expect? There isn't anything great about them

I love hearing a song like "Miss You" with it's earlier arrangement and lyrics and tempo changes and then hearing the final version that they recorded and how it evolved. And I agree with a lot of the other people that left a comment... Nadir has got such a great rock n' roll voice. So unique and cool sounding. I love it!
Nadir D'priest is a phenomenal vocalist in his own right, and yes I agree London should have been way bigger, but it's just a though that Nadir is the perfect blend of Ronnie James Dio, and Bruce Dickinson who are my 2 other favorite vocalists.
Hell probably answer you. He post on all these London vids. I thought it was a troll but its legitimate nadir. Hes cool. I just posted an inside joke above.
Singer mentions Decline OWS. That's where my only memory of these dudes is. It was hilarious watching them pile out of that mini motorhome like a bunch of circus clowns. They were actual clowns in a good way in their interviews and honestly seemed poor as shit. They seemed to just take it in stride, warts and all and forge ahead as best they could. Their music is good and their talent obvious. They along with Anvil seem to epitomize that two fawks 80's struggling hand to mouth aesthetic with humorous pride. Thanks for posting. I enjoyed this set.
Ya I thought the bass player looked li,like, willie aims from 8 is enough. There was another band on Decline OWS with a song called Crash Landing and I can't remember the name
Wasn't Ride You Through the Night on the D'Priest album that was released by Noise Records??? I used to own that album, and I remember there being a song with a similar title
I always wanted Nadir to make it ever since The Metal Years 2. Not sure why he didn't but I can completely understand why Randy-O didn't. Bill Gazzaree totally missed the mark on that guy.
No Doubt!! Even A Keyboard 🎹 Player!! Not enough Sound!! Empty Spots in the Music!! If They had another guitar player or just even a keyboard player as myself. They’d be solid

@@Bobby-Love I disagree 1,000%. The over-saturation of this music and the greediness of the record companies ruined this era. There are many bands that should have never been signed to a record deal, never given a huge signing bonus, never should have had that over-inflated recording budget. Many of those bands from LA around 88 and 89 had no business being on cd, a record deal or MTV. Grunge was not the reason but they are an easy scapegoat. That was 3 years in the future so please stop blaming Kurt or Seattle.
So wrong. London had their shot but they aren't that good. Grunge had nothing to do with London not making it out of clubs. Warrant hit it and came later than London
@javtimestwo you get it. Ive always felt the same way. They just left the door wide open for grunge to stumble in. Its not grunge's fault, its their own. The music got so cheesy, poppy and weak...completely lost its edge. I'm not huge on grunge, there's a few bands, AIC, for example that really deserved their success. But I'm not mad at it.
They needed day jobs but I think only the bass player had 1. The guitarist should have been replaced. Either he just didn't care at this show or he just wasn't that good. His sound and FX are not up to par. But I get it if he just wasn't so interested cuz I've done the same thing but thats why I'm on the toilet and gotta go to work in the morning
FINALLY an 80's London live gig... ROCKING
Nadir was a beast vocally

Nadir, one of the vocalists that sounds really great live. I love his voice.
Nadir has a powerful voice and he isn’t even breaking a sweat. He makes it look easy.Much respect.

Such a solid performance here! What an awesome video! Thanks for the upload! London never got the credit they deserved!! RIP LIZZIE GREY
ROCK.IN.PEACE LIZZIE
I've listened to several of his interviews. He's been on stage with the best in the business and was always so humble. Such a cool dude.

Wow, this was awesome to see. Been a London fàn since 1985 and I love Nadir`s voice back then

Awesome.Well sounds like they are or were always in tune having a knack.
spectacular video Steve Morrow. I broke that thumbs up on your video. Keep up the good work.
Amazing!
Imagine nadir fronting motley crue

Also in that documentary, they gave the intervewees cocaine on purpose to make them act silly. Rewatch it again with that in mind.

@@stuartewoldt1513 I see one by a band called Seduce, could that be it?
raw and pure 😊🤘
Wasn't Ride You Through the Night on the D'Priest album that was released by Noise Records??? I used to own that album, and I remember there being a song with a similar title
Yes
It’s their best song by a country mile
This is an early version and nowhere near as good
Just like a russian winter in the USA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
In the 80s they were not drawing the crowds on the strip like wasp, motley and ratt but they were cool 👍
Wheels of Fire is top notch song from them here. Would do anything for there to be a studio recording of it
I always wanted Nadir to make it ever since The Metal Years 2. Not sure why he didn't but I can completely understand why Randy-O didn't. Bill Gazzaree totally missed the mark on that guy.
I was there. Sharing
i went to the stone a lot … was this gig packed ? don’t see anyone
Good Stuff
I wonder why The Crue never took them on tour?
They only needed a break, and they would have been big.
Ya, thats true
Wouldn’t want to be embarrassed
It’s weird to me they didn’t get signed. If any 80s band was ripe for that isn’t this it ?
it was a cool short show that paid the crew and Dumb Tech $25 for a show and stack everyone in one or 2 rooms with women was Awesome lol
Always thought Nadir was a good frontman (at least for glam), wonder why he didn't get his big break, loyalty to London? Who knows...
Nadir was so good in live.He could replace Bach in Skid Row when the canadian was fired!!
Lmfao you're out of your mind. He's nowhere Bach's level
@@johnstrika9170 You know on the album slave to the grind his voice has been modified because it is not humanly possible!!lol

Some nice 80s chicks in attendance. Nadir was just about to conquer the world when that pesky Cobain kid blew up.
Cobain, grunge, alternative, untalented 90's music was the end of talented musicians and the beginning of very lazy future generations
