Thank you for sharing.I want to go into compliance and data protection but most of the roles are mixed with legal. I think a video explaining that can assist greatly
As Compliance Officer on Business CC position what are my duties, how to do my day to day activities. We have Safety , Electrical, Mechanical, Maintenance and store section how do are support my duties on this section?
Have you ever heard of a Compliance and Risk Liaison for a healthcare organization? I have an interview coming up and I’m trying to find more information on the job and also salary
The role of compliance requires a lot of human skills like deciding how to apply regulations to different business models, products, services and making decisions about appropriate risk management strategies. So that advisory side will still need human skills. The more manual and repetitive tasks are more likely to be replaced by technology.
Just discovered this channel. Could use some advice: I currently work as a tax exemption compliance analyst. I’ve been doing the position for only 3 months. It got me interested in looking at a career in compliance. (Something that has taken me years to figure out) I have a BA in International Global Studies. Should I get a masters? And if so what specifically should I look for? Are there certificates I should be looking to get? I would like to transition into compliance and pursue it.
Hi there and congratulations on getting clarity on what career you would like to pursue. Compliance is an excellent choice. There is no specific academic prerequisite when it comes to being in this field unlike being a doctor or attorney. Compliance officers can have various qualifications e.g. finance, audit, commerce or law to name a few. I would say focus on gaining the knowledge and understanding the skills and practical requirements for the area of compliance you're intersted in e.g. tax, AML , data privacy etc. Look for certifications in your area on that specific subject matter.
Glad you liked it. In terms of certifications there are some that are preferred if you are going to specialise e.g. AML, Data Protection or Cyber security. You will need to investigate for your specific area of interest. I suggest you look at a few job descriptions for your desired role and see what appears consistently if anything.

I've not heard that title specifically, however the health care sector is very unique when it comes to compliance so always hard to tell.
Can ai replace complaince and risk management jobs?
