Is this really Johnny Van Zant with his hair done up like David Coverdale? Man, these southern boys were serious about taking on the Def Leppards, the Whitesnakes, and the Sammy Hagars of the mid-late 80s hard rock world!
This is the generation that took the most prosperous nation in recorded history, and in the space of a 3 or 4 decades, turned it into the most indebted country the world has ever known. They shut the door behind them, and they have the balls to call millennials/zoomers entitled and wonder why "nobody wants to work".

Best Middleweight of his time, I remember hearing this song for the first time after Hagler/Hearns fought, where Hagler got the best of Hearns, in probably one of the best fights in history. This song is definitely an anthem.
I'm A Fighter lyrics by Van Zant I'm a fighter, when my face shows my game I'm a fighter, Oh oh a face without a name I'm a fighter, and I'm just holdin' ground I'm a fighter, and I'm never goin' down I was walkin', but I found me a ride Yes I was born, on the wrong side I've been pushed, pushed around so long it's hard to see There's just one thing, it's gonna do to me Just one more chance yeah, to pay the toll Just one more chance to rock'n'roll A will to survive, will stay alive With you by my side I'm alive, oh yeah I'm alive I'm a fighter, when my face shows my game I'm a fighter, Oh oh a face without a name I'm a fighter, and I'm just holdin' ground I'm a fighter, and I'm never goin' down I'm never like a loser, no confidence I said I'm just a user, of common sense Oh oh oh Just one more chance yeah, to pay the toll Just one more chance to rock'n'roll A will to survive, will stay alive With you by my side I'm alive, oh yeah I'm alive Oh oh oh Just one more chance yeah, to pay the toll Just one more chance to rock'n'roll A will to survive, will stay alive With you by my side I'm alive, oh yeah I'm alive I'm a fighter, when my face shows my game I'm a fighter, Oh oh a face without a name I'm a fighter, and I'm just holdin' ground I'm a fighter, and I'm never goin' down I'm a fighter, I'm a fighter I'm a fighter, I'm a fighter I'm a fighter, and I'm just holdin' ground I'm a fighter, and I'm never goin' down I'm a fighter, no! no! Accidentally went to the wrong door ended up backstage with them they were true gentlemen they could have taken advantage of two teenaged girls. But they were just super nice we just hung out till they had to get in their bus and go. A very good experience. ❤

Amazing! Best song/video ever put out by Van Zant in the early 80`s hard rock era right before Heavy Metal exploded into mainstream! "Marvelous" Marvin Hagler`s presence made this video! This original official video is usually removed as soon as it appears due to BS copyright infringement. So stupid due to the aftermarket sales it would generate by fans after watching it! Music executives can be so blind to the potential profits! DUH!
@@ICHIBAN-cz8ih He turned face again the next year when Bobby Heenan brought in Rick Rude to be in the Heenan Family and used him to phase out Orndorff as the stables pretty boy.

Odd song choice but this was his entrance music in 85
