He didn’t exactly “escape” he was walked out to a waiting car by a really stupid, desperate, lonely woman who was supposed to keep him IN jail, instead she abused her position in law enforcement, ruined a career, and ended her life!………all for THIS guy? Such a waste.

We might find out that her mother was the one that used a credit card to rent the hotel room for a couple of weeks. We don't know the whole story but boy that would be awful if that is true! The mother had to have known for the last couple of years what was going on between Vicki and this inmate.

I'm still baffled that this woman was allowed to escort this dangerous convict by herself to ANY offsite destination. A single male guard wouldn't be enough security much less a lone woman.
I haven't heard anything further on how this was allowed.
The sheriff runs a loose system
It's the excuse everyone is using for not doing things right. "We're short staffed"
She wasn't supposed to do that, she was second in charge. She violated the policy. She was a bad person disguised as good and it's not the jails fault. Why don't you go work there since you know so much
@John Wayne that's corruption ,let's call it what it is.
They said earlier, it wasn’t even a real court date. It was staged. Usually two people would accompany prisoner. It was fake appt.

This such a sad story. A 17 year veteran ready to retire would not only destroy her reputation but lose her life. Did she honestly think she was going to ride off into the sunset with this criminal. Such a tragedy all around!
I keep thinking the same thing. What was she thinking. Maybe being lonely was such a fear and sadness for her that she didn't find any joy in this life being alone. If she would have sought help, she would have seen how blessed she was and how she really had the world by the balls.
I feel so sorry for VickyWhite and her family. She was bound to know that such stories do not usually have happy endings.
And she retired so not to miss work. And she sold her house to pay off the mortgage. She only netted 5000 on that sale. Paid her debt off and retired so as to cause no burdens on anyone.
I thought I was the only one who felt sad! Mostly for her Vicky.
Sad.??????,,,It’s laughable these comments. Sorry for her???? Lol you guys are funny and insane at the same time.
How can they charge him with escape? The correction officer led him out the door or that’s what the video shows..
And then he left - thats called escaping no matter how it happens.
Not guilty
I'm thinking about that too. If he has a good lawyer, he'll argue that point. Of course, he's probably going to spend his life in jail for other crimes. The only difference, if there ends up being no more charges, it might just mean a better jail with less restrictions.
Right. All he need is the right lawyer. He didn’t escape he was escorted out.
He knew he wasn't supposed to leave.
This woman’s loneliness and desperation for love it’s beyond comprehension! Yes, her mother here is the worrying, hopefully before Vicky left for good, arranged some decent living for her mother’s sake!

Don’t ever underestimate a lonely woman. Before you literally sign to accept your job in corrections they warn you that inmates are very smart, and all they have is time. They literally read books and train themselves on how to manipulate you and get what they want out of you. They observe, listen, and read your lips when talking to fellow officers. They will know your entire life by just watching you without you even thinking of it. She knew this, and knew the consequences. She was just lonely, and he baited her.

I feel as you do. Very sad.
@@inkytv1713 haha. Funny stuff. You’re a strange bird then. You should feel sorry for the pregnant woman he terrified.
I feel bad for the family of the woman that he stabbed to death and the officers that have to deal with criminals like this. You choose your own fate.
Reserve your sympathy for people who deserve it.
"Was it worth it?" was a dumb question. He's got nothing to lose, and got 11 days of freedom. I doubt he really cared about Vicky.
Thank God!!
I will say this again. This man didn't escape. He was walked out by a deputy who works for the jail. She said she was taking him to his medical appointment. He was in chains and shackles when this woman in charge Vicky white walked him out. How did he escape!!!! Please someone explain it this to me because I am truly invested in all this because in my humble opinion he didn't escape heck he was kidnapped if anything.
They knew she visited him in DOC, they knew he was getting special treatment in the jail are worked at.... Why are these people still working at the jail? Everyone that worked there needs to be fired, they let this happen.
YuP..he basically WALKED right out of jail
The local officer says “we got him home”……. That local sheriff is a buffoon
Most of them are. When they speak, it sounds like the didn’t graduate high school.
How could it get any worse?
How long is Hollywood going to wait to turn this into a movie?
Hth is he charged with escape? SHE LET HIM OUT he didn't walk out
Guess he was supposed to stay in his cell.
Love is an emotion that brings joy and happiness. It is all encompassing. It can blind side you. Sometimes you can't think straight. But It is so tragic when it brings death. Vicky White RIP
My condolences to the White family. They too were blind sided.
I agree. So many people are crucifying her online; it’s so sad. I don’t agree what she did at the dawn of her retirement! But hey, we’ve all been duped by love at one point or another & sadly this cost her shame & ultimately, her life.
I do wonder if it was really a suicide....I have to think in the 911 call she was worried about an airbag taking them out, but she shoots herself? Bizarre
You call this "love", a more accurate description would be delusional fantasy and projection.
@@smelltheglove1726 it's not what you perceive, it's what Vicky perceived
@@CherryPi314 Most people don't endanger other people's lives for a love interest, thank god. She did though and did that for her own selfish needs.
YOU have a skewed sense of what love is. This is not love.
Look how well they treated the escaped, convicted murderer !! Amazing.
How can they charge him with escape and with her death? They are reaching in both. She is responsible for both.
He willingly went with her, escaping prison is a crime as well
