- Hope you enjoy our HANOI VLOG - Part 2 😁 as we explore the capital of Vietnam - HANOI. Join us as we start our day by visiting the IVegan Wellness Center to try acai bowls for the first time!🍇
Then we head off to the Old Quarter of Hanoi to experience the well-known Train Street🚊 with residences right next to the train track. In the evening we visit the Hoan Kiem lake and experience the beautiful night lights!

I'm curious to hear your observations and comments about Hanoi vs HCMC. In my 10 yrs spent in VN, I find Hanoi, and Hanoians to be more unique, to be more stylish and a sense of unique identity vs HCMC just tries to be too much like the West, kind of like a smaller and "grungier" version of HK and Singapore. Even the fashion style in Hanoi during the Fall and Winter are more unique. Throw in the lakes and parks, the historical architecture and I guess I'm more respectful of Hanoi's independence. That's just my opinion anyway.
Weather is better in Hanoi too

Really Want To Check Out This Train Station. Very Tight On Both Sides When A Train comes. Came Across An Outstanding Video Showing A Lady On The Side While A Train Going Bye & Once Again Having Something To Eat On The Rooftop / Might Have Ben Balcony, You Could Touch The Top Of The Train & She Said It Was Now Closed. So Excited It Has Re-Opened & Your Allowed Back There. Yes Completely Agree Charl / Christine's Dress Blends In With The Stones. Push-Ups On The Train Tracks. I Have Never Seen So Many Sticky Notes (( So Cool )) How Manty?? Any Guess??I Was Waiting For Christine To Eat An Oreo. Outstanding From Start To Finish.
The Train Track was definitely one of the best discoveries we've made in Vietnam this far! We absolutely loved it and you should definitely try and visit it Drew😀 Wow that sounds like an excellent video!!🙌 The amount of sticky notes were insane! 😂 We have no idea!! How much do you guess?? In Vietnam, there are some very beautiful tourist sites, but they ban foreign tourists for military reasons. For example, Binh Ba Island in Cam Ranh Bay

Next time, you guys should wear a mask because there are a lot of Covid cases right now in Vietnam, not only just in Hanoi.

I was there in early 2019 and stayed at an AirBnB right next to the Hoan Kiem lake and walked around that lake almost everyday. Walked to the Old Quarter every day for food and shopping. Went to the pagoda entrance but didn't go in cuz it was really crowded. On the weekend, they have many vendors and artist around the lake drawing portraits for some money. Not sure if they're still there anymore since there isn't much tourists there these days.
