I'm just in disbelief. For 5 years they watched OP spiral and suffer from not knowing what he might have said or done that caused his ex to leave. Five years they watched him pine and stay single for a woman who broke his heart.
All the while his ex if off playing happily ever after with his brother without a thought of how badly she hurt OP.
The changing of the Will is just to placate OP to tslk to them again. I have no doubt they’ll everything to the brother when the time comes. And OP will once again be left shafted by his entire family.

If the mother do change her will, i dont think the op would lose that much since he already got the answers that he needed. The only one getting betrayed by it in the is the mom, who lets her son down once again. I can only hope that op let it go and find his own happiness and be successful in life that the will (whose 90% of it will end up to him), will end up nothing to alter his life for the better.

After all that, I wouldn't ask for a dime. In fact, I would ask to be _removed_ from the will. I'd let mother apologize, so she felt like she did something. I would then quietly inform her, based on her actions, she only has one son. I would disappear as efficiently as she made his ex disappear and never communicate with any of them again. I would have no family and continue to live my untethered and obligation-free to relatives who have demonstrated their lack of concern for my mental health and well-being in the most dramatic way possible.

If something like this had happened to me, and my own brother came knocking on my door calling ME immature after what he and my parents did, I would've hurt him pretty badly in the least. Redesignating their will doesnt actually make the parents look better, if anything, the act actually proves how low and selfish they are- kinda like where park yeon jin experienced a mother's betrayal level, but instead of saving their ass, theyre trying to grasp what little familial affection op has for them or both their sons, which i hope is completely dead and sees that action for what it is to parents. It's funny that you say that because I read webcomics and I once read one where the MC got involved with 2 brothers. She was sleeping with the younger brother (ML), while crushing on the older brother. The ML falls hard for her, but when they get caught by the older brother, he suddenly realizes he has "feelings" for her too. On the night of the ML's tournament which she promised to attend, she's no where in sight. He tries to call her and eventually the older brother answers without her knowledge right as their going at it. He hears it all and it breaks his heart.
Time passes and the MC realizes she's not happy with older brother and misses ML. She breaks up with the older brother but only because he was offered a job overseas. 6 years pass and she runs into the ML. They end up together at the end but by this point most fans dropped the series and those who stayed, including me were disgusted. The ML not only forgives her, but the brother too. The brother was still in their life at the end and they were all a "happy family".
Op needs to realize that the family was definetly laughing and celebrating his pain for five years while they were meeting behind his back

I could honestly see that being the update after his parents pass away. If OP is smart, he'll get everything on film. Mom and dad saying it and agreeing to it, with the lawyer present. Make sure everything is notarized, again on film, and the like. So when it happens, he can sue over it and use that to help his case.
Even if the will does give him 90%, they can just gift everything to the brother before it comes into effect and OP will get 90% of nothing, maybe some old clothes, if even

A will can easily be changed, just like OP showed. And his parents can just as easily change it once again, and without telling him. He will only find out about the true will once it is read, and then he will learn that they once again favored his brother.
If he truly wants anything, he should have them give it to him here and now, so that there is nothing left to give away in the will.
And then he can shaft them all, by selling their house out from under them and leaving them all (his parents included) with nothing.

This whole situation is messed up beyond belief. Why couldn't she just say "no" to the proposal and come clean about how she felt? I felt like that would've been the easiest solution. Instead she literally ghosted him by running off to another country, married his brother and even had a kid. All the while he was worried sick about her disappearance. Like, no crap he wouldn't gotten over it. The woman he loved, the woman he wanted to have a life with just vanished off the face of the earth. All the while his family knew and laughed behind his back.
Then she has the audacity to tell him that he's a stalker that needs to get over it and she doesn't owe him an explanation. Jesus wept. This lady is a piece of work. 5 years of his life wasted worrying about her. 5 years he could've been using to find someone else. Why the hell didn't they just tell the truth? Why was this the better option for them? It just doesn't make sense!
It seems like the brother wouldn't have time to go and stop the proposal, and if he did, it would look worse for their image and for the family that supported him, mainly because the "plan" involved him getting over something without closure, only to open up about everything later. hoping the op would ease the emotional stress of it all and everyone supporting them while he was left in the dark.

I managed to talk to her face to face and she said she was dying, and due to stress, she couldn’t have kids anymore. Fast forward a few years, I get notified by white pages she changed her address. I found out she was with someone and that’s why she ghosted me. The guy has so far changed her life, they live together and he’s built a house for them to start a family (I think she was pregnant when I last talked to her, but she wasn’t showing), yet she had to lie about dying to me. I needed closure so when she said “I’m dying,” those feelings came back. I had to un-alive my feelings for her twice, a simple “I’m with someone else” would’ve been enough to never see me again. I’d like to know why lie if she was happy, but I’ll never get an answer. I wish her nothing but happiness, but I hope I never see her again

The minute you find out that you have betrayed the answer is to not look for their reasons why, rather find solutions to move on.
