I just stumbled over your channel and in this video alone there's already a lot of useful advice. So, thank you very much for sharing your experience with us. :) I'm currently busy developing some, rather specific products which I intend to sell and you gave me a lot of helpful insight on how to go for that. What I'm going to do will not involve woodworking, but I guess that your concepts transition over to other types of products as well. My CNC will be delivered in ~2 weeks, I can't tell you how excited I am to plunge into this endeavour. :)
Thanks for some very useful information. Supply chain issues seem to be with us for many commodities. it's really good to have a target market and potential customers who like what you're doing and want you to do something for them.
@@AndyBirdBuilds I have a pretty bad case of Neuropathy in my feet. Spend alot of time on my feet at work. Want to try and get something going. Just in case i have to stop working. At least the cnc i can sit while it's running.

Iteration process... I don't know why this was such a novel idea in my head, but it was. That whole concept is going to help me out a ton, thanks!
Great! Yeah its pretty simple, but I often want to jump straight to the end

For sure!
Hi Andy great video. Try to do fillet radius on the cut out parts. both Autocad and Carbide create have allow you to do that.
Thanks for the tip!
Talking about sourcing your materials. Baltic Birch ply hellooooo!!!!!!! Totally killed my awesome product idea.
Sorry.
FYI, your first 3 links are broken. Love the content.
Thats very nice!
Thanks!
How do you find companies to sell to?
I put a lot of time and effort into it. Some of the specific things are networking, documenting my work, and failing a lot more times than I succeed

What wood do you use for your wholesale CNC products?
It depends on what the customer wants, but mostly hardwoods. I have a video coming out tomorrow about this very topic!
@@AndyBirdBuilds great thanks. Your videos have been very useful, I'm just starting up a CNC woodworking business. Thanks very much
