Most of the fandom loves that dancing scene, I don't think it was awkward, it shows the love and friendship harry and hermione had, it was nothing more than harry just trying to cheer her on
Of course he'd read the books. I love that dancing scene. At this point Harry and Hermione had been alone for weeks. No knowledge of the outside world. They were tired, hungry and getting desperate. They were nowhere near finding the horcruxes. And just for 2 minutes they forgot about it. Just 2 minutes of relief from reality. Then it ends and they're back into reality. I think this is a brilliant scene

To Answer some of your questions Rupert was born in 1988, Daniel 1989 and Emma in 1990. Emma almost left because of not only the fame but she just graduated high school and wanted to go to college not only that but on the day she turned 18, paparazzi took a very inappropriate picture of her so she was very uncomfortable with the fame. What a lot of people don't know is Daniel almost left Harry Potter too after Prisoner of Azkaban because he didn't want to be typecasted for the rest of his career but ended up saying. Rupert was basically the only one who never thought about leaving
Yeah one of the most heartbreaking things I've seen are the interviews of her when she was minor who couldn't wait to be 18 and the interview after she turned 18 where she was just so sad and traumatized. Because 18 for her wasn't freedom. 18 for her meant that paparazzi could now legally sexually harass/exploit her.

Alfonzo, the director of Azkaban, if one of my favorite filmmakers. He directed Y tu mamá también, Gravity, Roma, and Children of Men. He really added a charm for the movies going forward, and Azkaban is a personal favorite ❤️
Also, kudos to their parents: Emma's parents who respect her hard work, saving her earnings that she used once she was an adult and Daniel'parents who didn't want at first let him act in the movie cause they didn't want to throw him as a child in LA horrible industry just for greedyness (unlike Culkin parents for example)
This reunion always makes me cry. I can go back to pretending to be a bad bitch now. I loved your reaction guys-it was lovely to have a reason to watch it again!
For me personally, there was not one scene in deathly hallows part one that was more emotional than the dance. It was such a great idea and showed their feelings at this vulnerable moment so well. I think it gave that film before the great finale some much-needed personality.
To explain why it was unknown if Emma was going to return for the 5th movie, the British media had begun publicizing her every single move, every single day. They were taking pictures through windows, stalking parents, and following her little brother. She hit her limit when they decided to PUBLISH MULTIPLE UP-SKIRT photos of her, she was 15 years old. Her parents did NOT want her to go back, and I truly don’t blame them. The next film was delayed by 3 months while she worked out a security deal with the studio. She came back for the fanbase, she is now THE UK’S FEMALE RIGHTS REPRESENTATIVE at the United Nations. Comment written by @joshuacoldwater. Could not write it better so decided to use his, all credit to him
Emma Watson possibly leaving was also in part due to being a young female celebrity. People and papperazi creeped on her BAD. I wouldn't have blamed her if she left. To say nothing of the fact that she wanted her actual education as well and it was a huge scheduling conflict.
Personally i loved the dancing scene. It did not feel romantic at all to me. Just pure, platonic best friends trying to bring a little light in a time of darkness. One of my fav scenes in that movie.
Are you thinking of watching "Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them". The book Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them was one of the schoolbooks. I think you can see it on the list of things that Harry had to by for his first year.
Jason Isaacs and Tom Felton still stay in contact weekly to this day. They even call each other Dad and Son. It's to the point that Tom often wonders if his Dad would get jealous😅. They really do have a strong kindred connection. Jason Isaacs says Tom is the son he never had because he only has daughters.
Watching the characters grow is a huge part of the reason why the series is so amazing, but the real reason is because my generation didn’t just watch the characters grow, we grew together with them, I was 10 when the 1st movie came out, when the 4th movie was released I was 14 so basically the same age as Harry, Ron and Hermione and I was experiencing the same silly things they were like having to invite a girl to a dance, fear of rejection, being kinda embarrassed to do some things… for us it’s not just a movie about wizards, it’s a movie about life as a teen.
😎👍 If you want to see Mr. Dursley (Richard Griffiths) in a far more sympathetic role, check out the movie "Sleepy Hollow" (1999) which also has Michael Gambon (the second Dumbledore) in it. The main stars of that film are Johnny Depp & Christina Ricci.
Since you where asking: there is about 16 hours worth of behind the scenes material of the Lord of the Rings. And it’s brilliant. It’s the most detailed behind the scenes of any movie ever, from concept art, worldbuilding, visual effects to casting and acting and the making of all the sets. You should really dive into that
I cried so much at the beginning when I watched, and when I finally stopped crying.... Helena shows up hugging Daniel. Dang it! Tearbending again 😂😂 The whole cast of HP is amazing and I SPECIALLY love the main three kids.... but I'll admit I have a soft spot for Helena Bonham Carter. Everyone is always laughing and happy around her and she a little bit crazy, two things I love about the woman. That and how incredibly talented she is. (By the way you guys should totally watch Tim Burton movies, they're great 🤭) I miss so many of the people who pass. And so many dead so early too.... It really hurts when they mention any of them, specially Alan, Helen and Michael Gambon. All these amazing actors will always have a special place in my heart 😢💔
1:03:35 "Hagrid's The One That Had Just Passed" Yeah, that actually makes what Robbie Coltrane saying about he wouldn't be there to greet the next generation of fans, but Hagrid would, hit a little bit harder Though to be fair, Micheal Gambon, the actor who replaced Richard Harris as Dumbledore after Harris had died, had died himself not too long ago
10:54 except for the costumes/set, it's the book straight up come to life. you can just FEEL everyone behind the camera grinning from ear to ear thinking "we got 'em" also, the scene where they're dancing is Harry realizing how much Hermione (and Ron) have sacrificed in order to help him. With the war going on, having to give up her family, getting attacked and hunted, being on the run, being constantly affected by the corrosive presence of the horcrux, and NOW losing Ron, Harry wants to do something to help them both take their minds off what they're dealing with. It's also Harry's silent way of thanking her for staying instead of leaving with Ron, and apologizing for how much this is demanding of everyone around him. He is keenly aware of how much it costs to want to help him, and whether or not its valid he believes that all of the pain they feel is because of him. It might feel random, but moments of levity are what people need to get through these times.
34:02 Good job Dan but How could he say that after his performing in How to Succeed Without Really Trying at the Tonys, doing his little dance at the Oscars in 2013, and winning Best Featured Actor in a Musical at the Tonys this year?
watch "Swiss Army Man" and youll see how "harry" branched out, one of my fav movies its fucking amazingly brilliant ...in fact ima rewatch it now, Daniel Radcliffe is an amazing actor...ignore the "ok" plays he did but damn him and dano made that movie so great!
That dance scene soldified my ship between harry and hermione because it felt different in the theater and you saw how close they got. It's a different experience for the people that grew up with the characters throught the years compared to the people that binge the movies for the first time. Emma did say in an interview that she wanted a kiss between harry and hermione because that felt right in that moment.
Yeh the issue was that none of it happened in the book, and the movies leaned so hard on Harry and Hermione being closer than Ron and Harry. In the deathly hallows book, Harry and Hermione were miserable after Ron left and they barely spoke to each other. Hermione cried most nights and Harry kept looking at the Marauders map to watch Ginny walk around. The movie makers conveniently forgot to include any of this.

I don't know if you're big readers or not, but judging by how much Dee especially has enjoyed this journey, I think you should really consider it! I love the movies but the books are on a totally different level for me, 100x better than the movies!
You should listen to the audio books read by Stephen Fry. They are a work of art and bring the books to life, and telling the story as originally intended. For someone who doesn't have the sitting time to read the books start to finish, the audio opens up the story and explains some strange omissions in the movies. I could never understand why, for example, Harry's dependence on the red-tinted expeliarmus spell marked him out for Voldemaort and made sense of the final duel scene. (Although the final duel in the books is a better treatment, naturally). Although I've read the books multiple times I still dip in and out of favourite scenes read by Stephen Fry The audio books, favourite of which has to be Hermione's 20 minute rant at Ron when he returns from having deserted them in the Deathly Hallows. I can't recommend them highly enough.
the dance scene isnt random at all. its two friends with no romantic feelings for each other being their for one another to get their minds off the horrible stuff going on
About 70% of the book content was left out of the fourth film, Goblet of Fire. If you enjoyed the movies I ‘d recommend the audio books with Stephen Fry for another and better experience!
I just watched all of your Harry Potter reactions. Although I watched the movies countless times, its so amazing to rediscover this with you as you watched it for the first time. 😊 If you want more backstory about Harry Potter, there are RUclips channels which explain more details. My favourites are MovieFlame, Harry Potter Theory and Super Carlin Brothers.
it should be pointed out the legal system in Britain is different to where you live . high school ends at 15 College starts at 16 the legal age to leave home is technically 16 with a few exceptions . the reason why Harry didn't go to school in the 7th book it wasn't just a story plot to find horcruxes . under British law they would have been done with high school at 17 .
“Can they do this for lord of the rings” … The Appendices … it’s a 6 part (12 if you include the hobbit) behind the scenes look at Lord of the Rings each is a movie length …. It’s what got me wanting to become a filmmaking/documentarian

This whole documentary is my bi panic 😂 joke aside, I still feel surreal looking at how older they have gotten. I remember I was just a kid when I was watching Harry Potter movies and growing with them. My memories 😭
Are you referring to the Fantastic Beasts trilogy? I love them -- mostly because they were not Harry Potter although set in the wizarding world. I like that they did not give out HP vibes but paid homage to the history referenced in the HP books, especially what was missing in the movies. But mostly, I think I like that they were written for an adult audience who could appreciate the maturity and complexity of the story and its characters.
y’all why don’t you like the dancing scene?? i think it is one of the most beautiful scenes in the series. it shows the special love between harry and hermione and the scene is so gentle in a way that feels super real. it’s not too much it is just perfectly sweet. i personally think that because the scene is so vulnerable and ”random” it gives the very dark film needed personality and sense of safety and friendship. i just really love that scene ❤
2 months late, but I believe the reason why Rowling wasn't involved was because of her ongoing transphobic comments on social media. She's been going on a rant about it. Also, she recently (as a of maybe two-three months ago) publicly stated that she "cannot forgive" Daniel and Emma for siding against her after she made her transphobic comments.
Was*. They were married/together for a decade (or even more), which was when they were doing all of those projects together, and had 2 children together. But they divorced a few years ago.
I doubt you will ever read this, but Neville's accent is not Scottish - there are dozens (if not hundreds) of accents in England - have you noticed that Ron's accent is different to Hermione, and both different to Harry's? - I'd say Neville has a Northern England accent, which part, not sure...
Jk Rowling wasn't in this partially because it was pandemic Era but mostly because there's bad blood between her and most of the cast/creatives because she's very transphobic and most of them aren't.
You should read -- or listen to -- the books. Doing so will deepen your appreciation for Jo Rowling's accomplishment as well as answer questions the movies left you wondering and give greater insight into characters who were not fully developed in the movies -- especially Neville and Ginny as well as the rest of the Weasley family -- Percy, Bill, and Charlie plus their parents. One thing I haven't forgiven the filmmakers for doing was diminishing Arthur Weasley in that encounter with Lucius Malfoy in the bookstore. Mr. Weasley did not back down as shown in the movies; there were actual fisticuffs!
my favorite thing is that tom felton calls jason isaacs "dad" to this day all the time haha
I believe we are up to about 25 or 26 now that have passed away from Harry Potter now

14:42 - How to get away with murder….. he was Wes
the dance scene isnt random at all. its two friends with no romantic feelings for each other being their for one another to get their minds off the horrible stuff going on
Next time you’re both in London, you need to hit up the Harry Potter Studios on the insane
We love London!! 🇬🇧❤️
If you want more backstory about Harry Potter, there are RUclips channels which explain more details.
That's changed a bit now.
Meesh & Dee Awesome Video Reaction Today!!🔥🐐🐐💎
“Can they do this for lord of the rings” … The Appendices … it’s a 6 part (12 if you include the hobbit) behind the scenes look at Lord of the Rings each is a movie length …. It’s what got me wanting to become a filmmaking/documentarian
Josh Gad (Frozen’s Olaf) hosted a brief LOTR reunion on zoom in 2020. It was nothing of this scale but it was still really really good.

@@hlfbldprincesstrue! Billy Boyd and Dominic Monaghan have a podcast together were they bring on some LotRs people, plus they do a bunch of cons so there are a bunch more moneys where you can see the Hobbits together (not everyone) but there are a lot more smaller reunions.
Now, in terms of an in-depth behind the scenes video series …. The Appendices is something to watch…
One thing is it’s 20 years from the first movie, not from last movie 🥰
This whole documentary is my bi panic 😂 joke aside, I still feel surreal looking at how older they have gotten. I remember I was just a kid when I was watching Harry Potter movies and growing with them. My memories 😭
4:59 I can agree
Yaaaay so glad you're reacting to this so soon and not after the abominable Beasts trio 😂
We loved this reunion! 🤩
Are you referring to the Fantastic Beasts trilogy? I love them -- mostly because they were not Harry Potter although set in the wizarding world. I like that they did not give out HP vibes but paid homage to the history referenced in the HP books, especially what was missing in the movies. But mostly, I think I like that they were written for an adult audience who could appreciate the maturity and complexity of the story and its characters.
theese arent the deleted scenes, but you should def react to all deleted scenes as well.
y’all why don’t you like the dancing scene?? i think it is one of the most beautiful scenes in the series. it shows the special love between harry and hermione and the scene is so gentle in a way that feels super real. it’s not too much it is just perfectly sweet. i personally think that because the scene is so vulnerable and ”random” it gives the very dark film needed personality and sense of safety and friendship. i just really love that scene ❤
30:53 dan is just a year older than emma
2 months late, but I believe the reason why Rowling wasn't involved was because of her ongoing transphobic comments on social media. She's been going on a rant about it. Also, she recently (as a of maybe two-three months ago) publicly stated that she "cannot forgive" Daniel and Emma for siding against her after she made her transphobic comments.
Plsss watch some behind thr scenes of harrypotter xx
Are you guys planning to watch the fantastic beast franchises
Yall gotta just keep tissues in the filming room so you don't forget 🤣
🥹😂😂🙏🏽
Did you guys ever end up watching deleted scenes?
So cute so cute so cute so cute so cute so cute so cute so cute so cute….
Disney Trilogy: The Love Bug 1968 please
I hope you start the Fantastic Beasts trilogy :)
11:13 - She was 9, NINE when they filmed this clip. She is astounding.
Helena Bonham Carter is married to Tim Burton!
Was*. They were married/together for a decade (or even more), which was when they were doing all of those projects together, and had 2 children together. But they divorced a few years ago.
Will there a fantastic beasts react later ?
Fastastic Beasts next? :)
i swear if you guys see plane crash you say how cute
I doubt you will ever read this, but Neville's accent is not Scottish - there are dozens (if not hundreds) of accents in England - have you noticed that Ron's accent is different to Hermione, and both different to Harry's? - I'd say Neville has a Northern England accent, which part, not sure...
Ah gotcha! We definitely try to read the comments as much as possible so thank you for this insight! 😁
fun fact during final film of harry potter daniel radcliff have alcohol addiction due the stress and mental health.
Jk Rowling wasn't in this partially because it was pandemic Era but mostly because there's bad blood between her and most of the cast/creatives because she's very transphobic and most of them aren't.

"Who's Helen?"
Emma was referring to Helen McCrory, who played Narcissa Malfoy
How to Get Away with Murder.
Is it British or American accent? I live in Germany and I need to find out
Which one the RUclipsr or actors?
Can u also do a reaction videos on kdramas? Plzzz. 🙏
