- Hey everyone, welcome back to Daily Downshift! Today we are tuning the B9 S4 with Stage 1 from 034 Motorsport. This was very easy to complete and we felt a huge power gain after a few minutes of driving. Most importantly and what we forget to mention in the video is that the power is very linear. It comes on smooth and the Audi keeps pulling and pulling. We are definitely impressed with Stage 1 and can't wait to do Stage 2! We hope you enjoy!

Just got my stage 2 installed today along with the upgraded intercooler and downpipe, and wow it's hot! Super fun.

does this mean that oil in trans is not up to working temps? or is this completely normal?
@@KingModestCars It’s completely normal! It will really only do it when the transmission is under high load, so therefore it would be at operating temperature.

u have jus stage1 tune and did u do tcu tune to? and u have the lighting package with color ambient lighting thats best on those s4s i getting one soon lol

How do u have the ambient lighting in the car and also how do u think this tune compares to the unitronic stage 1 tune?
It's the Prestige/Teknik model. I know 034 does takes their testing very seriously and I loved the tune. On stage 2 now
I know you installed the Tune a while back. I just ordered my Stage 2 for my B9 S5. I notice that you did not have your Battery connected to a charger or anything.. was that any issues with you?? I seem to see a lot of people saying that you have to have the battery connected to a charger before installing the tune.....
No issue, just make sure you have driven your vehicle before and you have juice in your battery
What is the most aggressive/fast stage 1/1+? Unitronic or 034?? Thanks!!
Both are solid. We've only been in a car tuned with unitronic but never driven it

Be carful with that 94 octane fuel…I logged my S4 running 94 on the 93 map and it was pulling mad timing…I started blending in 15% ethonal and smoothed it out, pulls harder now. I would strongly recommend the same.
Can you just run e25 in a 93 tune and get more power?
how did you log that info? I was running the 93 tune on 94 pump gas at one point and found I had less power than stock in 3rd and 4th gears while doing a pull. compared to stock in the 1/4 mile I had the exact same mph but my 0-60 was faster. I was told that it was probably heat soak but it wasnt a hot day at all around 68 degrees. Im back on the 91 tune since then but havent tried a full 1/4 mile pull yet.

@@StrawberriesPlays runs good on the 93 pump gas we have down here in Florida. I did upgrade the intercooler because I noticed power loss in hot weather. The power output is much more consistent now. Even during 20 minute trackday sessions. Check out my last Daytona video. Car just keeping pulling through the gears on the straights. Well worth it

What year is your s4? I have a 2018 but mine doesn’t have that blue interior lighting like yours.

We didn't get drone from any of the tunes, you shouldn't get drone unless you do a full catback + downpipes.
Did you hook up a battery charger when you were tuning?
Nope, just make sure the car hasn't been sitting
@@DailyDownshift I tuned mine the other day with 034 stage 1. I hooked up a battery charger to be safe (just an 8amp). The ecu and tcu flashes took less than 10 mins total!
Did you get any pops or more crackle??
More burbles. My understanding is that 034 will be adding more pops/crackles to the stage 1 tune shortly
